Misa Buckley (misabuckley) Hi, I'm new here and would very much like reviews for my sci fi romance Ironhaven. It was released earlier this year (July) by Decadent Publishing but hasn't gathered many reviews.

It is an adult story with some spice, so please don't read if you're under age. If you run a review site, I can send you a review copy if you email me at misa.buckley@gmail.com

Thank you in advance,
Misa

Keith Madsen | 40 comments How about doing a review of my inspirational thriller, THE SHARD FENCE? In this e-book novel, when American Brandon McCallister goes to a favela church in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, he isn’t just another American Christian hoping to make a difference in a region of poverty. He is running from something. He is running from a trauma too terrible to talk about, but too fresh to forget. But the place to which he has fled has traumas of its own, a struggling people seeking faith, but suffering under drug lords who rule by violence. He learns to love the people. He learns to love a 12-year old boy caught up in violence which ages him far beyond his years, but who loves the music Brandon teaches him. And he learns to love a beautiful Brazilian woman, Aline who becomes the pastor of the church when the regular pastor is brutally murdered. This romance is strained as Brandon and Aline have different ideas of how to fight the violence, violence represented by a fence of glass shards. Still, more and more, faith grows in the one who came to suffer violence on a cross. Will that faith pull them through, and will it help Brandon himself deal with his past, so that his future and the future of the favela will find a belo horizonte, a beautiful horizon?

Would you like for me to have my publisher send you a pdf file of the book?

Also, here is the description off the back cover:

Glorious revenge, the dish known as best served cold. Audra Tanner has waited for five years to invite her unwitting guests to her feast of just desserts and now her dinner party approaches.

Audra was a brilliant CPA that for years, worked the grueling hours her job demanded as she made her way from lowly grunt auditor to a minority partner at a prestigious accounting firm located in the southwest. Her dedication took a tremendous toll on her not only mentally, but physically as well, and culminated the night that she met with the sadistic managing partner, Olin Kemper, to discuss her promotion to equity partner. That night, Audra learned that to become part of the ‘elite’ at Winscott & Associates required much more than she was willing to give. Unfortunately, that knowledge came too late and partnership was granted as a reward for her silence after her violent beating and rape.

Five years later, Audra is now an entirely different creature at work, a shell of her former self that wears the guise of partner during the day yet retreats at night to her hidden self as she plots her revenge on not only her rapist, but all those in power at the firm who knew what Olin had done to her, yet did nothing to stop him, as they were immersed in their own corrupt behaviors. Now head of the IT department and a self-taught hacker, Audra has spent the last five years perusing the firm’s computers, searching and digging through the mounds of encrypted words for anything that she can use to allow her the opportunity to exact revenge on all those responsible for her pain. What she finds changes the course of not only her life, but everyone else’s as well, as her research leads her to the impending demise of the firm as well as an unsolved murder of a local college girl over thirty three years ago, both which stem from the monstrous hands of Olin. In her climactic confrontation with all the partners, Audra eviscerates all their hidden deceptions as she finally obtains her long awaited revenge and rocks the firm to its core.

Dean Mayes I too am seeking reviewers for my novel "Gifts of the Peramangk".

"Gifts of the Peramangk" is described as a sprawling family saga that takes place across two time periods in the Adelaide Hills, the harsh South Australian outback and the struggle streets of Adelaide's suburban fringe.

In 1950s Australia, during the height of the divisive White Australia Policy, Virginia, a young Aboriginal girl is taken from her home and family and put to work on an isolated, outback station, in the cruelest of conditions. Her only solace: the violin, taught to her in secret by a kind-hearted white woman - the wife of the abusive station owner. However, Virginia's prodigious musical gift cannot save her from years of hardship, abuse, and racism

Decades later, her eight year old granddaughter, Ruby, plays the violin with a passion Virginia once possessed. Amidst abject poverty, domestic violence and social dysfunction, Ruby escapes her circumstance through her practice, with her grandmother's frail, guiding hand. Ruby’s zeal attracts the attention of an enigmatic music professor, and with his help, Ruby embarks on an incredible journey of mu.musical discovery that will culminate in a once in a life time chance for a brighter future. But with two cultural worlds colliding, her gift and her ambition will be threatened by deeply ingrained distrust, family jealousies and tragic secrets that will define her very identity.

Ty Patterson | 6 comments Hi,

i am a first time self published author. i released my thriller, The Warrior, on Amazon and Smashwords a couple of weeks back.

i am keen to have my ebook reviewed and will love to be contacted by reviewers. if you are a fan of Lee Child, Robert Crais, Greg Rucka, Harlan Coben... chances are good you will like my book.

the blurb goes like this:

"Zeb Carter is almost your average Private Military Contractor. Almost.

When working for a WDE (We Don't Exist) Agency, Zeb witnesses a gruesome crime in the Congo and tracks the perpetrators down to New York. Only to discover that not only are they protected by the FBI, but also are closely connected to a very high profile politician.

Ordered to stand down by the FBI, Zeb finds that his hunt brings those close to him in the sights of the killers.

A thriller that spans Congo and New York, The Warrior is dotted with gritty action, a central character that fuels imagination, and a supporting cast of great colorful characters.

The Warrior is about relentless determination and a burning need to avenge and to deliver retribution against all odds.

The Warrior is not just about action but also about character build up and the clash of differing values and how those clashes affect outcomes. Lastly, The Warrior is about the brotherhood of warriors.

The first in the Zeb Carter and Broker series."

Ian Rutter (IanSR) | 3 comments Hello everyone.
Is anyone interested in a children fantasy book about faeries?

I'm also happy to do one for any reader of my book or of a book in a similar genre.

My book blurb is:
Solomon went out to go for a walk in the local woods, he met a girl. She just happens to be 4 inches tall.

When 8 year old Solomon ventures into Birchover wood for the first time after moving to the village, not only is he overjoyed and feeling wonderful but his world and his life will never be the same again.

His heart pounds when he meets the most amazing creatures, faeries! Caitlin, Zeal, Balamore and Elder Perennial Swallowtail become his new amazing friends from the wood.

Trusting his new friends, one bitter and aggressive faery betrays and kidnaps him. The faery takes Solomon to an evil monster called the Bad, which has been imprisoned for a thousand years.

The Bad merges itself with Solomon and uses him and the magic of the faery to break free of its prison.

The Bad inside the body of Solomon, appears once again in the wood of Birchover facing an army of mythical creatures such as dragons, boggarts, goblins, oakmen and the faeries.

The creatures must now destroy the monster completely, but they also must save an innocent boy who is now part of the Bad.

I've got a few reviews on Amazon and one on Smashwords but would love more. On Smashwords it's free and will always be free. I'm just hoping Amazon will notice it and make it free also.

If anyone is interested and needs a copy then either download from Smashwords or I can send it as a doc, pdf or any other format you like.
For smashwords the link is - Smashwords The Faeries of Birchover Wood

Thanks and kind regards.

Andrew Goodman | 13 comments Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for honest reviews for my near-future YA action/adventure Tiberius Found.

"What would you do if your whole life was a lie?

Daniel Henstock thinks he’s an ordinary schoolboy. But on his sixteenth birthday, his world is shaken to its core by a shocking revelation. Daniel is the world’s first genetically-engineered human – and Gregory Dryden, the man who created him, wants him back to continue his deadly experiments.

Running for his life, Daniel is forced to go ‘off grid’ in New York. In this near-future America, where the security-obsessed authorities force citizens to carry DNA cards, Daniel meets the feisty and beautiful Eleanor. But by falling for her, Daniel is putting her in terrible danger.

Daniel pursues the truth about his origins but is hunted by an agent sent by Dryden to bring him home. Can Daniel find out the truth about his origins whilst evading those who think they own him? As his enemies close in, Daniel must draw on resources he didn’t know he had to win his freedom – but in doing so he may be walking into a deadly trap…

TIBERIUS FOUND is a thrilling YA adventure that introduces an appealing new hero – for fans of Alex Rider and the Bourne movies."

Tiberius Found by Andrew Goodman has had a number of great reviews so far - both on Goodreads and Amazon - but could do with more.

Let me know if you're interested, and in what format (.mobi, epub, PDF) and I'll get a copy over to you.

Thanks,

Andy Goodman

Suneeta Misra (suneetamisra) | 21 comments There is a great group called the "Review Initiative for Indie Books" under goodreads. There is no reciprocity involved there and so each person signs up to review the book of the person who signed up previously and so on. Reciprocity can lead to undue pressure to leave a good review even if the book is undeserving!
