C.L. The third e-book of The Reboot Files is a series of Christian Mysteries of the continuing adventures of Irene Waters and Troy Stenson. This time they find themselves in the small town of Redemption to do a story on "The Harbinger of Retribution" an impressively sinister looking statue which is supposed to have a curse. But what the curse is supposed to be or do, no one can agree on, making it difficult to solve a mystery when no one can agree what the mystery is supposed to be. Adding to their difficulties their usually helpful boss, Bernie Youngman, has become surly and uncooperative. So Irene and Troy are on their own as they navigate the maze of rumors, facts and downlight lies to even find square one to solve the mystery.
The book is posted on amazon and barnes and noble at the following links:

Once again, I will be happy to provide a free .pdf copy of the full book if you would like to review it. You can either comment or send me a message in goodreads.
Thank you.

A.S. Johnson (author_a_s_johnson) | 16 comments I'm the author of The Vampire Empress Chronicles: Caroline's Path. This is book one in my new series of vampire romance novels. The synopsis is available under the novel info on goodreads.
I'm hoping to find a few reviews who'd like to read and review my novel in electronic format, read it before it is released to the public. All I ask for is an honest review!
I have it available on .pdf format from my publisher. IF anyone is interested contact me here on goodreads with your email and I'll get you a copy. If you don't have Acrobat reader to view the file, let me know and I can send the novel in .doc format or .wps format.
I'm limiting the reviews for this version and as a thank you to reviewers I will be giving 1 signed copy of the novel away in a private drawing open to my reviewers only to be given away on Oct. 15. using the drop your name in the hat and pick one out randomly type method of drawing a winner. :)
Please keep in mind this novel is a vampire romance and I don't write erotica. I don't write anything I'd be ashamed to have my own mom read; that includes no smut and limited profanity. So, if you're interested let me know.
Thank you all and have a wonderful week.

A.S. - I haven't been through all of the posts yet, but in case you haven't gotten through all the group folders yet, there is one labeled "authors looking for reviewers" or something along those lines. You can put your book up there as well to show it off a bit more! :)

E.C. Stilson | 34 comments If you'd consider reviewing my memoir, I can send an advance pdf or physical copy at your convenience.
My book, "The Golden Sky," will be officially published on November 18th, 2011.

The night I met Cade I never would’ve thought that two years later, after we were homeless street musicians in Hawaii, we would have a little girl and another baby on the way. Our son was born with the
type of birth defects that make televangelists cringe. As his health waned, my own breath evaded me, like I was the one who needed the ventilator—the life support. The “death home” gave him a really nice funeral, the kind I’d never wished to attend. When they tried closing his casket, I nearly fell on my face, not wanting them to shut the lid
on my baby.

We lost it after that, totally cemented in our grief. Cade got into drugs, joined a rock and roll band, and even grew out his damn hair. At the time, I was sick of “the oatmeal option” (the only food we
had), so I kicked Cade out of the house, and started modeling and working as a diesel mechanic. That was how I met: Earl (an old man and unlikely best friend), the “big sag” (a middle aged woman who
still flashed folks), Todda (the stripper next door), and Chris (a cowboy who fell in love with me).

It was slow at first, but Cade reverted to the man I’d busked with years before. It wasn’t until I killed a rogue skunk, and my daughter nearly choked on a fry, that I gave my husband another chance. But could our marriage recover from the death of our son?

If you're interested, feel free to email me :0)

P.J. Johns (PJJohns) | 28 comments Hi everyone!

I published my debut novel earlier this year:

Liberator's Ruin by P.J. Johns Liberator's Ruin

I'm looking for reviews, if anyone is interested? I can provide copies as .prc files for kindle, or a Smashwords coupon

About the book:
In a world at war, three people will decide the fate of an entire country.

Nathaniel An’Rieyr is the captain of the airship Storm Brother and profiteer extraordinaire. He dreams of making his fortune in the lucrative southern trade routes. But to achieve that, he will need to get involved in a war he has made a career of avoiding.

As the last surviving member of the Illysian Royal Family, the war is all Anna has left. The Rhivellian Empire took her family, her throne and her country. Unable to compete against the might of the Rhivellian war machine, Anna enacts a plan to retrieve a mighty artefact from a long forgotten Age. With it, she will finally have the power to reclaim her kingdom; a goal for which she will sacrifice anyone, even her closest ally.

Thomas Ras’Kar, High Inquisitor of the Rhivellian Empire, has been sent to Illum in disgrace, where he will be forced to contend with the incompetent Thane Charles. Three years of occupation has seen the city’s populace cowed and the Thane’s interest turned to his own pleasures. A fate worse than death for a man of honour and action such as Thomas. But the Princess is returning to Illum, and she may be the key to his redemption.

Nora Weston (noraweston) | 122 comments Hello!

If you enjoy supernatural thrillers...with a bit of romance too, then please consider reviewing my latest release, The Twelfth Paladin.

Good against evil battles as an angel, demons, and a temptress extraordinaire, named Rachel Darnell, vie for the soul of Jake Cottrell. Jake foolishly dares Hell to burn him. Hell agrees.

Scarred with angelfire by a rebellious angel, named
Micah, Jake Cottrell is sanctioned to become the twelfth paladin in Micah’s supernatural unit of slayers. However, regret abounds as Micah is banished and ordered to protect what he now despises…a human he believes is unworthy of such an honor. Never fear, Jake is a seeker of mischief who soars on a blistering blacktop to escape the wrath of Hell while he transforms into the twelfth
paladin.

Thank you for your time!

Take care,

Allorah Shore (allorahrayne) | 32 comments I thought about this some and, I don't know if it is feasible because I don't know what is required to submit works to goodreads, what if we used the group bookshelf for books that need to be reviewed? The reviewers can check there and if you are reviewing the book you make a post on it. Maybe limit it to 5-10 reviewers per book? Just a suggestion.

message 228: by Keith (new)

Keith Madsen | 40 comments Lola, I can't seem to post on your blog site. But I do have a work of Christian fiction I would like you to consider. THE SHARD FENCE is the story of a North American young man and a Brazilian young woman who teach a church in Belo Horizonte to tap faith in God to fight violence and drugs in their Brazilian favela. Together they learn the truth of Christ's words, "Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul." This work of fiction is based on experiences the author had while visiting JAMI (a Baptist missionary training school) in Belo Horizonte, Brazil in 2005. With other North American church members he visited a favela church where a devoted pastor worked to free people from slavery to drugs and alcohol. You can read more about my work on my web site at www.keithmadsen.com

message 229: by Iola (new)

Iola (iola_goulton) | 28 comments Keith - thanks for the feedback that you couldn't post. I'll see if I can find a reason for that.

Your book sounds interesting, although perhaps your website should tell a little more about the book rather than the inspiration behind it.

message 230: by Keith (new)

Keith Madsen | 40 comments Lola, thanks for pointing out how little the web site tells about the actual story. Here is new info I am adding:

When American Brandon McCallister goes to a favela church in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, he isn’t just another American Christian hoping to make a difference in a region of poverty. He is running from something. He is running from a trauma too terrible to talk about, but too fresh to forget. But the place to which he has fled has traumas of its own, a struggling people seeking faith, but suffering under drug lords who rule by violence. He learns to love the people. He learns to love a 12-year old boy caught up in violence which ages him far beyond his years, but who loves the music Brandon teaches him. And he learns to love a beautiful Brazilian woman, Aline who becomes the pastor of the church when the regular pastor is brutally murdered. This romance is strained as Brandon and Aline have different ideas of how to fight the violence, violence represented by a fence of glass shards. Still, more and more, faith grows in the one who came to suffer violence on a cross. Will that faith pull them through, and will it help Brandon himself deal with his past, so that his future and the future of the favela will find a belo horizonte, a beautiful horizon?

Would you like for me to have my publisher send you a pdf file of the book?
