Max Shenk | 2 comments You Don't Think She Is by Max Harrick Shenk Hi, everybody!

My YA-coming-of-age novel, YOU DON'T THINK SHE IS, will be published on July 1 in print and Kindle editions.

I'd like to offer it for review. I can send either a PDF or MOBI file to you to review.

YOU DON'T THINK SHE IS is the prequel to my novel MEETING DENNIS WILSON.

When Brian Pressley met Margo LeDoux on the first day of second grade at John Reynolds Elementary School, August 1967, he felt like "we'd been best friends before, and we'd agreed to meet each other again someday, only we'd forgotten, and now, there we were. There she was."

And then there was Christy Kelly, a senator's daughter, a cute blonde neighborhood girl who had a crush on Brian...

...except...

"I didn't know how I felt about Christy. I liked Margo, and I trusted Margo. When Margo said 'hi,' I didn't wonder what she was REALLY saying. It wasn't like that with Christy.

"I SOMETHING'd Christy, but I didn't know what that something was.

"Yet."

YOU DON'T THINK SHE IS tells the story of how Brian, Margo and Christy grew up to become friends, and something more... or less, depending on your perspective.

Here's the book's page on Goodreads...
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

Let me know if you'd like to review it, either by messaging me here or emailing me directly (maxshenkwrites@aol.com).

Thanks for your interest!

Christy Deveaux | 7 comments YA Paranormal Romance Free June 10 & 11
June 10 & 11 the best seller YA paranormal romance Wicka: The Chronicles of Elizabeth Blake‪ will be available free on Amazon! www.amazon.com/dp/B00KN9P43Q I hope you enjoy Wicka. I would appreciate any reviews of Wicka on Amazon and Goodreads. I would also like reviews I can post on my website. Thank you.

While mourning the loss of a mother figure, Elizabeth Blake, a smart but socially introverted seventeen-year-old girl from Ann Arbor, Michigan, enrolls in an international school in the south of France to finish her final year of high school. Here she meets her true love, finds out that she is a witch from an ancient family, and discovers that her life is in danger.

Meanwhile, the Elders—the most powerful coven of witches in the world—have been tracking Elizabeth since her birth. According to an ancient legend, a battle led by “One barely born existing to lead” will cause the downfall of the Elders. Fearing that Elizabeth is the heir to this legend, the Elders try to destroy her before she can fulfill the prophecy.

With the help of her new friends, Elizabeth must travel to Greece to try and prove to the Elders that she is not a threat and to ask for their permission to exist in peace.

With the prospect of having to leave each other once the school year ends and return to their homes on opposite sides of the world, Elizabeth and her new love have to find a way to stay together. However, a rival love interest discovers their plan and causes the Elders to act against Elizabeth. As time runs out, Elizabeth must learn to use the powers she possesses to protect herself and the people she loves most.

Tom (tom_shutt) | 3 comments Hi everyone,

I'm looking to have my paranormal suspense novel, Brooding City, reviewed prior to its big release on September 1st. I can provide a free digital copy in any format in exchange for an honest review.

Here's a bit about the book:
A homicide detective must chase down a violent drug lord whose product is leaving a trail of bodies in its wake. Detective Brennan is aided by having a special power—he innately knows when someone is lying to him or telling the truth. There are others like him, though, and his dreams are haunted by deadly agents from his own shady past.
Meanwhile, in the valley outside the city, a young boy comes into his own power of downloading other people’s memories on touch, and he uncovers old secrets that threaten to tear his whole family apart. His power also makes him a prime target for the aforementioned shadowy dream-stalking agents, since his brain lights up like a beacon at night with so many memories crammed inside.

And here are some helpful links:

Then I'd be delighted to feed your need for romance.
I'm looking for reviews for my latest book "The Cook's Apprentice". This is a standalone read, and #2 in The Foxhall Series.
SYNOPSIS
London: the 1770s
Recently widowed, Livy Worth defies society and seeks an apprenticeship at the acclaimed Foxhall Pleasure Gardens. She is determined to become a top chef and succeed in a man’s world. Giles Blake has achieved greatness through sheer hard work, and he despises Livy Worth for her privileged past. But Blake has bigger things to worry about when disaster threatens an important banquet. Then, when Mrs. Worth saves the event, Blake sees her with fresh eyes- a profoundly unsettling experience. Each fighting mutual attraction, one night the past catches up with Livy and she is arrested for murder. Faced with the imminent prospect of hanging, Livy’s only hope is Blake-but at the cost of his career. Is the price too high?

Byron Fortin (byronfortin) | 6 comments Hello all!
My name is Byron Fortin, and I am the author behind the World Beyond Scripture fantasy series. My first entries, Through the Psyche of Ambrosia Parts I & II, are in need of review and I would greatly appreciate the support of anyone out there who is willing to take them on. The story has been broken into two books to correlate with that of its characters/ongoing themes playing out. The genre that best describes these novels in perhaps urban fantasy/paranormal romance. Please note that book I begins on chapter 3. Chapters 1 & 2 are missing for a reason that will be later revealed as the series continues.

Below I have included a brief synopsis, author information and goodreads links to where these titles reside. I am happy to include free .mobi attachments, as well as .epub, .pdf formats, etc. should it be decided that this is something you would definitely be interested in taking on. You can reach me here or via email at jbboyd01@gmail.com. Lastly, I've included a small excerpt here in hopes of enticing you towards taking this project on. Please let me know of any further questions you may have or if there is anything else you need. Thank-you and happy reading!

Pages: 206

ISBN/ASIN: B009UH01KI

He’s not ready for what lies ahead though, and this adventure is just beginning to heat up…. He will soon meet a set of twins, throwing him into a love triangle he cannot possibly understand. But if he only knew what was to come, he may have never stepped onto that plane. He becomes terrorized in a dream so seemingly real his mind cannot seem to let go of it, and is plagued by disturbing images of infatuation from another time. Afraid he is spiraling into madness, Ambrosia seeks out the help of those around him. Yet he has no idea what he is about to uncover. There may be more mystery and magic in his new home than he ever cares to admit.

Book Title: Through the Psyche of Ambrosia: Part II A Swain's Affray (Worlds Beyond Scripture Book 2)

Link: Through the Psyche of Ambrosia Part II

Pages: 310

ISBN/ASIN: B017DYMH2O

Genre Category: Fiction - Fantasy - Urban

Book Description:
Journey with Ambrosia through an evening of fantastical ravishments as the residents of The Nebula celebrate their most sacred of days, Samhain, in this second installment of the Worlds Beyond Scripture series. Can the seductive Regina solve the riddle of the mystifying written words that haunt Ambrosia and echo through his soul, or will the night of thinnest veil propel him further down the spiral of madness to a complete breakdown of his reality? The runes foretell a choice to be made… Will it be his Star shine, or Summer love that wins out these passions to completely hold his heart in her hands? Or might that heart fall into the grip of yet another, more mysterious maiden that may not be so gentle?

Excerpt:

There in the garden I stand amongst the trees and the flowers. Bare back as laid out upon the grassy knoll she awaits there for me now. Atop a bed of lotus blossoms, within a wall of roses and violets held she waits. A light breeze settles in against the angle of my naked continuity, and I am whole as one inside.
So she rolls her body round, like some delicate feather blown on the wind, to conceal the gentle back contour and reveal a frontal nudity that would make beauty itself ache with the need, thick within the throes of jealously for having to so unwillingly surrender over the crown.
It is in there that you find paradise, and it seems she too knows me by name of a gaze gaping, and notwithstanding but a single care towards the awareness of my steady on-looking fixation. It is the stare sewing in the seeds of an awestruck wonder for what the mystics deemed necessary, and the melody of majesty aligned in plenary ordinance; a precious passing moment of collective cornucopia & blessed union of soul where all planetary constellation come together to marvel around the bringing of such a fair existence about.
And what combination was that of the raw material splendour used to create this mould casting gone asunder beyond its one successful flight attempt to seize hold the sky and bottle it, never to be used again? Beholding it is to clasp the all consuming essence of longing in your pass, to wield command over the power of the cosmos with the skilled hands of lovers’ chaste holding. It is that which instills a life, a capture of Elysia off the edge of insanity refined, and that’s brilliance bled out by any design.
For only by taking nature in kind and boiling her down to her purest, basic, most sincere level will you be able to build her up, and by a metamorphosis see her change, transform into something off the wings of a butterfly; sign of the worthwhile creature and form of the eternal everlasting entity. To spring forth out the sublime incarnation, a shine of glory set down for all the world to see. She is pure blissful serenity.
Plant a seed to watch it grow; nurture it and it will give rise to a field of flowers full. Still none of any other would have compared as saccharine as when I first laid eyes upon the woman found stirring within the perfumed tendrils of Summer’s bloom, beneath the Stars shinning bright. Her beauty is so that I come alive. Consumed by loveliness I am completely at the lady’s mercy, and unable to turn a look away. That is to say, I would not want to.

James Peaton | 1 comments Hello all. I just joined this wonderful web site, and am having a blast bouncing around in it. This month of March 2016, I just released my first novel called "Bad Tommy". I would love to have some reviewers take a look at it. It is a horror fiction novel, and has some adult content in it. It is aprox 73000 words, so not too large. There will also be a sequel to it in the future.
Here is a brief overview.

“Mommy, come out and watch cartoons wif me.” a small voice drifts from under the door.
Judy clenches the door knob tight. Would you go in there and sit by your child, knowing something is terribly wrong with them? Something you can’t explain? Something evil?
Something isn’t right about five year old Tommy, and his mother Judy has to face that fact. Through the thin crack of a slightly opened bedroom door, Judy watches her son Tommy devour morsel after morsel as he stars at the TV. She is trapped, and has to make a choice. Fine help? Escape? Or go insane.
“Come watch cartoons wif me Mommy, they're funny.”
Judy clenches the knob tight, and bites her bottom lip, to hold back a gasp.
Join Judy as she tries to find a way to escape from a city over run by a race of creatures that that come from the below, from a place they call the catacombs. They can disguise them selves as children, but they aren’t as innocent as they seem. Judy, accompanied by her new friend Britney, must find a way to escape the city, before a military martial law threatens to wipe out the epidemic, and anyone unfortunate to be left inside. Along the way, the two woman find the key to a secrete that could change everything the world thinks it knows about death, love, and the evil itself.

If anyone is interested in giving me a review on this creepy book, please let me know. Thank you all for the opportunity.
James Peaton

Toni Williams | 1 comments Hi all, I’m Toni and I’d like to take the opportunity to introduce my novel, ‘Between Two Fires.’

It’s a murder mystery with an interracial romantic relationship forming an integral part of the plot. It is set in the Caribbean on a fictional island off the coast of Saint Lucia, and partly in Saint Lucia.

It challenges readers to ponder over issues that many of us are reluctant to confront, such as what happens to the male ego when a man falls for a woman who is independent-minded and ambitious, and intent on being true to herself and her ideals. It also looks at the viability of the martial vow of ‘till death do us part’ and the way how ‘falling in love’ can expose all our vulnerabilities and even our darker side.

It’s the first volume of a planned trilogy. You can read more about it here: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

If you’re in for a read packed with mystery, romance and suspense – and a theme and setting with a difference – and if you’d like to do a review, I’d be happy to send you an ebook or paperback copy.

Feel free to contact me at toniwilliams918@gmail.com

Hello, to the ether versions of yourselves—hope to get to know some of the real versions of you soon. I’m José Anastasis the author of the recently self-published eBook “Star Invasions.” The obvious genre to put "Star Invasions" in would be Sci-Fi; yet, "Star Invasions" is so much more. Even it's: "An edgy, mysterious Sci-Fi adventure with non-stop action..." —DOES NOT do it justice as a description. The actual story narrative crosses into many genres, including Political Fiction, Historical Fiction, Romance, Suspense, Mystery, & others. Possibly the best concise critique thus far is; “Star Invasions” inspired one anonymous reader to evaluate this new literary work in this fashion: “Mysterious, captivating and suspenseful. I thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end. Wonderful and magical story!”
