I pulled out one of Anne McCaffrey's books that I had bought used on Amazon about a year ago (Crystal Singer). When I started it, I knew why I had put it down when I got it. The first 1/3 of the book was rather slow for me, but I did get into it and enjoyed it by the end. So, on to the other two books of this series.

Do you mean, Whitney, My Love? Wow... that book was an emotional roller coaster ride. I cried, I yelled, I threw the book and I hated Whitney and Clayton and then loved them to death. It's an all time favorite, but it left me reeling for weeks. Judith McNaught is the queen of angst and misunderstandings. But there's a part in Whitney that honors the traditions set forth in A Kingdom of Dreams that just made that book for me. So, so so so good.

But have lots of tissues handy. For both books.
