110. On Canaan's Side: A Novel by Sebastian BarryI thought this was not going to be to my taste and it took me a couple of goes at it to get into it but when I did I found the story compelling. It is written as a memoir of an old lady looking back on her life after the death of her Grandson. Beautifully writen and a joy to read in the end.
