I'm not that familiar with their writing since I only read one book from each of them. I was wondering if Heyer or Holt qualify as a classic but am not sure. I'm reading them for the lifetime of books challenge.

I would classify Heyer as a historical romance author. Victoria Holt is more historical fiction, so you can use her for #12.

I'm thinking of using A Mermaid's Kiss (Daughters of Arianne, #1) by Joey W. Hill -if it's allowed, of course. I mean, you can't get more fantasy-ish than a book about a freaking mermaid & an angel, right?

I also found a very interesting book I might use for the Multi-Cultural - Interracial category. It's a medieval set in Germany. H is jewish and h is german/catholic. Or maybe I'll save it for a future German category. ;)
