Awesomevegan (AKA JenReads) (awesomevegan) | 468 comments Wow, Laura Lulu that's a LOT of books! It looks like a lot. It probably isn't more than I plan to read for next year. I have a bad habit of finding new series I just have to start... and then I forget about the ones I already started! I made myself add books from 3 series I have in progress to the Mount TBR challenge. So I know I will get 3 or more series finished by the end of 2011. Good luck with yours!

LOL! I added another one too. I have a bunch now. My goal (as you can see in my post) is to finish 3 or more this year and the rest next year. :)

Laura Lulu (lauralulu) | 1603 comments It's only 60-some AV, it just looks like a lot. :) There were just so many series I heard great things about this year, but couldn't fit into my rigorous challenge schedule. So now I'll just use them to set up 2011's rigorous challenge schedule. ;)

That is a fabulous idea. I will make 2012 all about finishing series too. Lets see how big of a whole I dig myself with my first in series books I read in 2011... :-P Never ending cycle... hehe. 60 isn't too bad. I read very slowly but have read more this past year than any previous years. Not 100+ which was my goal... but not too shabby either.

Awesomevegan (AKA JenReads) (awesomevegan) | 468 comments I am reading School's Out - Forever (Maximum Ride, #2) by James Patterson now and Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports (Maximum Ride, #3) by James Patterson next. That should put a dent in the series and be a good way to start a new year. I will probably pass my goal of 3 series this year. I plan to read Hunger Games, Harry Potter and Percy Jackson for sure. Probably Narnia too. I am already almost half done with Narnia. Poor, poor LOTR keeps being pushed to a back burner. Why oh why haven't I read them yet?

Awesomevegan (AKA JenReads) (awesomevegan) | 468 comments I will let you know how it goes, Steph. The concept is interesting. I like those sci-fi dystopic "lets make the world better" (but really mess stuff up) kinda books. Things with genetic modifications, arranged marriages and alternate societies are fascinating to me. I read them every once in a while though. I put the YA PNRs in between :)

Exactly. :)

I am soooo not a rereader, but I think I just might have to read the last Cassie again to get me in the right frame of mind for Hunt the Moon. Same for the last Fever book. Since I was crazy, want-to-whip-the-book-across-the-room at the end of that one, it might be a good idea to get back in that frame of mind, while having Shadowfever sitting next to me, waiting to be read. :)
