Come on, Amazon and Overdrive hooking up and bringing you little library ebooks doesn't do it for you at all?? >:)
Well, it would if the military libraries utilized Overdrive here in Oki. Oh well. But, overall, yeah, I think it'll be a great match up and make a LOT of people deliriously happy.
I forgot to come back and updateFinished Mob Rules and gave it 5 stars - i loved it! Check it out if you havent already.
My review is here http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...

I loved this book! My library doesn't have the second one so I may give it to myself for Christmas.
Jackie - I really liked your choice. It is an awesome series. Vivian I have Spider's Bite on a challenge slated for Jan 2011. Looking forward to it.
Good to hear Sandra - I already loved the first one, so even more excited to hear it gets better!Jackie - I'm looking forward to the Kitty series, I got the ebook from the library, but haven't gotten around to starting it yet. And I say go for book 2, nothing says Christmas like the story of an assassin!
Sallie - I hope you'll enjoy Spider's Bite next year :)
Vivian, Join me in reading the Kitty Norville series in 2011, won't cha? >:)[Better Late, Than Never]
I've already got Chicagoland Vamps and Shifters for that challenge, but if one of them doesn't do it for me, I'll change it to Kitty Norville :)
Vivian, you can have as many series as you want on that challenge, you don't need to stop at two. LOL.Bwahaaaaaa
Thanks Sandra, but I'm not sure I need to add more books to my somewhat overgrown pile of challenge reads ;)edit:
I just read the first book, and loved it just enough that I'll add the series to that challenge.

Sorry 'bout the curve ball. :( Knew these next few weeks would be a busy time for everyone. Hopefully in the end it'll be a good thing to know in advance. Everyone can read at their pace, next shelf not to be announced until 17 January.
Happy Reading!
Thanks Steph - I know what you mean about all of the chaos surrounding the Holidays!!! Just when I think I can grab an evening filled with reading someone seems to have other ideas...I love the holidays but looking forward to getting things back to normal in January :)Talk to ya soon
OMG I'm so behind. Here's my review for Linger for the Supernatural Romance challenge:
by Maggie Steifvater ****This book was hard for me to get in to at first. I was kind of wondering what I was doing even reading it. However, slowly I got in to it and then couldn't put it down.
I was much more in to the secondary characters Isabelle and Cole. I think it's because they're kind of broken? I was wondering how things were going to end, and of course, they ended in such a way that I cannot wait for #3 to come out. I think the series will end up being a trilogy with the first book being Shiver.
I have a question. I see that for Urban Dark Fantasy, Last Sacrifice is an option. I read it this week (after it was announced on the 6th) can I use this to satisfy the challenge even though I didn't post it prior to reading it? Does this even make sense?
If I get the ok my Urban Dark Fantasy will be Last Sacrifice, if not ok, then it will be Rogue. For PNR: ANGELDEMON-FAE-WINGS-WITCH-MISE I will read Dangerous Highlander.
For urbanfantasy-paranormal I will read Bayou Moon.
AmandaG, once a shelf has been announced, and then you read the book that counts. You don't have to post the book before reading. We've just been doing that cause its fun. LOL.
So post your review, rating & date read.
I'm anxious to read Last Sacrifice soon. Looking forward to your review, AmandaG. I loved Bayou Moon, more than On the Edge. I hope you enjoy it too.Happy Reading & Happy Holidays!
Steph - we have completed Supernatural Romance for a Stamp...Yeah we are making progress ladies...Hope everyone is still managing to find time to read with all of the festivities of Christmas week coming upon us...ooo cant wait to see what Santa has brought me...
Yay happy news! Review for Last Sacrifice for the Urban Dark Fantasy challenge.Read 12/9-12/13/10 *****
You know how sometimes a series can set up to a big finale, but then you expect so much, it may not live up to your expectations? {I'm looking at you Mockingjay}. Well this one delivered. It was the best of each of the previous books all rolled in to one. This wasn't one of my favorite series, but I really loved the final book.
There were a few things I didn't see coming and one big thing I saw coming a few books ago. I don't want to give anything away, so this may not be the greatest of reviews, but I think that the author stayed true to each of the characters from beginning to end, while also allowing them all to grow and learn from mistakes.

I was CRAZY about On the Edge, so your making me look forward to Bayou Moon even more than I already was.
Sallie wrote: "Steph - we have completed Supernatural Romance for a Stamp...Yeah we are making progress ladies...Hope everyone is still managing to find time to read with all of the festivities of Christmas week ..."Oops! Thanks, Sallie. I am late on giving you guys your stamp (rec'd @ 12/14/10). CONGRATS (belated)!
Hope Santa's good to you, Sallie!
CONGRATULATIONS, Furious Five! You now have an updated BINGO card with a stamp on 'supernatural-romance'.
[Your new BINGO card can be viewed on page 1]
Good Job!! :D
I LOVED On the Edge, so I was actually a little disappointed by Bayou Moon. I don't want to give anything away though, so we'll talk after you read it :)

Jackie I know what you mean - between bad weather here in SE Illinois & getting ready for the holidays I dont seem to have the time to read as much as I would like...maybe things will calm down in January....gosh I hope so
