We picked up some when we flew back from Europe last year. Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw them in duty free. Bought a block for me and one for our chocoholic daughter. Wasn't the best chocolate I've ever tasted but certainly was an experience :)

Hahaha! Cool :) I saw like 3 or 4 flavours I think..I picked up an Orange and plain.
It's cool if you've got problems with having reg milk chocolate...My Mum can't have cows milk SO I'm always on the look for something different but she now loves 90% dark. We tried 100% and that was terrible..blegh. Lindt thankfully bought over the 90% from Europe this year like a month or so after I got back..Otherwise I was gunna have to post some blocks back to her next year! lol

Does that say something about us and our sense of humour Brenda?

I have found occasionally it runs around in circles for ages and doesn't do anything, Leonie. Other times it cones up instantly.
An Aussie book just won the Man Booker Prize for 2014 - Richard Flanagan's The Narrow Road to the Deep North

That's excellent news Phrynne. It wasn't tipped as the favourite was it?

We even had a storm here in Darwin overnight - our first for the year!!!
Not that I heard it, I went to see the doctor late yesterday afternoon about a cyst on my back that has been there for years - but it felt a bit sore. he had it whipped out then and there as he said it was infected and could lead to nasty side-effects. I now have a 3 inch hole in my back (stitched up hole) and I was given a strong pain killer to help me sleep last night. Which I did!!! Bit oochy still this morning but ***sigh*** not enough to justify a day off work so here I am :) Panadol helps!! It will be a day at the desk I think instead of running around :)

No I don't believe it was the favourite. I kind of feel I should read it now:)

OK, rant over, on with the day! Hope no one living in Sydney had too much damage to deal with this morning :-)

Oh Sally take care:) I agree with Phrynne, you should have had the day off! Doctor would have written you a certificate... at least it's gone now; no worries with it in the future:)

Definitely don't bother - not worth it! But maybe it will just take some time to get used to... I wonder what happens if you don't download a particular update and then another update comes along? Are you eventually forced to do an update? And it's so annoying that until you download an update you don't know what you're in for - and once you do know, you can't go back!!

I've heard so many bad reports from people, you included, that's why I'm not bothering. It's annoying that you can't UNINSTALL it!!!

It's Good Morning early birds here in Saigon! ((Well, 6.30am) early enough when on hols. I've had some communication problems and haven't been able to post until now but will be home in a couple of days and play catch up!

Hope your back is feeling better soon Sally.

Same here. Just ignored it.

I'd ignored it for a while because it was quite a large update, but it was getting toward the end of my month for internet usage, and I figured it was a good time to do it... But I should have kept ignoring it!!

GOOD MORNING VIETNAM!!
Sounds like you're having a great holiday Julie :)
Missing some bad weather here - thunder and lightning, heavy rain and snow in the Blue Mountains! In October! This time last year they were having those tragic bushfires!

Ha ha... I can just imagine the look on your sister's friend's face.
Alan delights in introducing me as his lover, which earns him some strange looks. :)

Laura, in this context it means Early Birds. Bette is usually the earliest EB. :)

Sounds like it was a fantastic reunion, Marianne. I bet there were lots of laughs, too.

Oops... I really should read all the posts before commenting. This EB has been rather AWOL of late.

Good idea. I'm coming with you... :)

Oh, Carolyn, that is hilarious, though I imagine at the time, you weren't laughing. :)

Seems like I've been missing a bit of the fun around here! I'm not laughing Carolyn....really I'm not....teehe ;#

Haha..and Ditto that Carolyn!! They have been great mornings here, love it!

I kept seeing everyone's replies to this as I must have missed your original
Post. So I kept reading about 'something' touching your face. I didn't guess 'mouse'!!

You're welcome!! Though this changeable weather is crazy! I wanted to go back to the Blue Mountains on Monday - I had our air con on - now it's snowing there!!!

It's totally crazy! We even have our heater on again!!! Was going to put it away the other day:)

My son Max and I did have a good laugh afterwards. It was the business like way the cats just sat and watched us chase the mouse around the room for a while with the broom and then one just jumped in and did the deed. Cracked us up!
Glad it gave you all a good laugh!
I still shudder to think what would have happened if it had run under the bedclothes instead of across the pillows. Ugh!!

We once went to pick up a colleague of my husband's from overseas (who we'd met before on his own) to take he and his wife for a drive and he introduced the woman with him as his 'first wife'. I was a bit stumped for a response ("Oh how nice that you still travel together" or "Couldn't your second wife get away?") until he said I've only had one wife!

not sure I'd be too impressed if my husband introduced me like that!

She seemed to be used to it! He is a bit of a joker and they have been married over 20y. She is a lovely, long suffering wife but it made me uncomfortable for a few seconds as I didn't know him that well.

The thing that is bugging me lately I people are too busy paying attention to their phones instead of having a convo with the person they are with. I feel it's so rude! Especially when said person is so involved with the phone that whatever they are talking about isn't heard...*jumps off soap box*

Today I have completed and ordered the three photo calendars I worked on yesterday, and compiled three more photo books and also ordered them, with the last "buy now" being pressed ten minutes ago!!! Big day, very little else (including reading) done!

I can relate to that Laura, as much as my phone obviously is very very handy, I went to a playgroup a few months ago having done it many times before years ago (I have a 13, 11, 10, and 2yo) and more than one of the women were constantly on their phones. I was appalled and embarrassed. The leader of the group was trying to suggest not to but it had zero effect. Times have changed and I don't care how much I sound like my parents. It's true.

There are now holiday places making up packages for people to 'switch off' from tech...It's sad that companies are cashing in on such a problem. Don't get me wrong like you I think they are very handy to but they have a place and time.
I've grumbled at people about it before and I'm guessing it won't be the last time either.
