Oh Sharon that's awful! I think you should ring the council..for the sake of the poor dog plus of course the possible very serious accident it could cause. Enjoy your tea:)

Hope you've calmed down a bit after your cuppa, Sharon! And I agree, Liam, some people don't seem to realise that owning animals involves a level of responsibility (which should be shouldered by them, not the poor neighbours or other people in general!!)...

An update of my rant. My neighbour from across the road came over to tell me she rang the council as she saw what had happened from her window and was to scared to come out as she thought the dog was dead once she saw it wasn't she was straight on the phone to the council. This neighbour was out a couple of days ago helping me to get the dog and like me she is an animal lover. I also rang the council just to confirm with them and they will send someone to have a word with the owners.
Thanks everyone you were all right about ringing the council just hope it doesn't get out in the meantime. I'm getting to old to chase dogs and to unfit :)
P.S My cup of tea went cold :(

Problem with that being, Alex, that roughly 90% of the Olympics are fine with LGBT and don't give a rat's, and they are paid out of viewership and sponsors and so on. It isn't fair to all the athletes and non-bigoted people involved if the Olympics is a huge disaster in Russia because they have some backwards laws.

Liam || Books 'n Beards (madbird) To be fair Australia got the games, and at the time there was some pretty shocking human rights going on here too, especially when it comes to aboriginals.

Man the Sydney Games were a long time ago.

Samantha (samjay73) sigh, is it just me or is everyone sick of hearing about Schapelle? I figure regardless if she was guilty or innocent ( there will forever be differing opinions on the just like Lindy Chamberlain) leave her to her life and stop making her into a celebrity. only my opinion of course. But there are much more important issues that the media could be concentrating on.

"Much respect for Google today with there Doodle at the site that shows solidarity for the LGBT community in Russia and protests the country's anti gay propaganda laws."
I agree Michael

Call the council because if the kids have to see the dog hit that won't be too nice either. But I know what you mean you don't want to upset everyone, but they don't need to know it was you. I also wouldn't want the dog to get hurt.

Sally906 | 89 comments We are over Schapelle - we now flick the TV to another channel when a segment comes on.

I think on Monday it will get even worse. Think the TV will go off, and the radio, and we'll listen to our music and read good books :)

We had our grandson sleep over last night, then I took him home this morning and brought his twin sisters back with me:) They spent the afternoon here, playing with lego, our dog and us, and generally having a great time. It's the very first time they have been here without Mum and/or Dad and they had a ball. So did grandma just quietly!! lol But I think I'll sleep well tonight;)

Sounds like fun. We had a family dinner tonight with our almost 4 year old grandson and baby Lily - Lily is sitting now and has just started to be a real baby. The two,of them are a bit young to sleep over yet - the older one does (6) but he lives in Queensland so don't see him often.

Present! :D

Hi Bette

I haven’t been asked that for ages. You’re the second person to ask that in as many days. Spooky. :)

Because my agent (US) is still – and it’s a loooong still – submitting them to trade publishers, they're not officially available in print yet. (If I self-publish, I lose the first print rights to sell). I do, however, have paperbacks available for my beta readers and anyone is welcome to order them at cost (between A$11.30 and A$11.90 depending on number of pages) plus post ($7.99/1 book -- $11.99/5 books).

Thanks so much for your interest, Bette. I hope you enjoy whichever book you choose. :)

P.S. I just went through and updated the files to the same version as the Kindle-published books.
