Oh. My. Gawd.
Got back from Florence + The Machine concert...It was amazing. Legit, that is the highlight of my year so far. The Entertainment Centre was ABSOLUTELY PACKED and my friends & I were in the second row! We were so close to Florence, we almost touched her- (& I almost caught the drumstick at the end!). I've never screamed more loudly. She has such control over the crowed. If she said "Kill the person on your left", everyone would be dead. Not even kidding, she was stunning. At the end we called them back for an encore, it was magnificent. Oh, and her outfit was so gorgeous. When she twirled she looked like a butterfly-if Cinna from The Hunger Games was real, he is the only one who could have designed that outfit.
GAH! BEST THREE HOURS OF MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!

I'd be keen to see how I take the book when I eventually get there. Having read a fair number of books in that type of genre, I can only hope that it truly is as bad as you say Mish. The review seemed really fair, and it wasn't just that you didn't enjoy the sexy bits, seems like the whole thing was a bit out of sorts.

I would hate for a book like that (if it truly is that horrible) to be a representation of that genre when there's so many others out there that are fantastic!

When I moved from Melbourne to Cairns it felt like that but as soon as two weeks left it all went to fast!! Hang in there it might feel like nothing is getting done but I am sure even the basics have been started!!

Yes you’re right; it was the whole thing that was troubling me.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this book has the opposite effect on the genre. There's a lot of people who like it. I remember when Twilight came out, people couldn’t get enough of vampires and werewolf books– they wanted more. This might be the same

I was fortunate to meet Jaye Ford this morning, author of Beyond Fear and recently released Scared Yet?. She signed her new book for me, and I had my photo taken with her as well:) She is a lovely lady, and working on her next book, called Blood Secret, which will be released in March 2013.

So the group title mentions the weather... who else has enjoyed the rain in the South East today? I sat on the couch doing uni assignments and listening to the rain all day! It was awesome!

I loved the venue! It was pretty much sold out for Florence + The Machine, and I was in the front row, so the atmosphere was electric.

We haven't had any rain in soooo long, and we were complaining about too much, and flooding back when we were having it. But we've got 100km/hr winds forecast for today, and it's freezing! Not a nice day for sport! Poor little grandson (6yo) out in the wind, playing soccer! Hope he doesn't blow away!!
