The focus in Serpent's Kiss is more on the romance and less on the action. I know that some readers were disappointed in the lack of chills and thrills, but the strength of Rune and Carling's relationship is what made this book one of my favorites.

I've been keen to get the Shifters Unbound series by Jennifer Ashley. She's a good author in historicals but I haven't tried one of her paranormals yet.

Lol I understand what she means but I didn't think it was that bad, although looking at the books I like she's rated low so I guess its just what you find disturbing or not. All my friends have rated it 4/5.

Pinky is a half flamingo chef whose stuck that way instead of being able to shift between the two :-)

I love Pamela Palmer's Feral Warriors series. I remember giving the first book 5 stars. I took a break when Ecstasy Untamed came out because I heard it had a cliffhanger but will get back to it once the next book comes out this month.
