#20.9 Lindsey KY's Task: Babies

Black Holes and Baby Universes and Other Essays by Stephen W. Hawking

I was pleasantly surprised to see that this book was mostly easy to read and comprehend. Hawking did a wonderful job of explaining things that are often incomprehensible to non-physicists like me.

5.8 - Freedom to Read
I read Animal Farm by George Orwell, which is on pretty much every list of banned and censored books.

It was an interesting "re-read" - in quotes, because the last time I read it was in high school, so it was pretty new to me 40 years later! I liked it then, but I think I appreciate it more now.

20.1 Stephanie Anne’s Task (Most Improved Player) - Bookmarks Magazine

I read Stuff: Compulsive Hoarding and the Meaning of Things, which was reviewed in the July/August issue. I thought this was fascinating!

5.2 The Play Must Go On
Waiting for Godot by Samuel Beckett.
I got to see this on stage and it is so much better. It isn't as funny when you read it, but still a great play.

5.6 She's a Beauty
The Forger by Cioma Schönhaus. I actually read this edition:

El falsificador de pasaportes by Cioma Schönhaus

5.7 Circle of Life
A Feast for Crows by George R.R. Martin, who was born September 20, 1948.

5.8 Freedom to Read
All Quiet on the Western Front by Erich Maria Remarque, #45 here.

5.9 Comfort Read
A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett.
A children classic, maybe naïf, but it's nice to read something you know it's going to have a happy end from time to time. Quite comforting, I enjoyed it.
