Would you recommend The Duke? I've heard many good comments about Gaelen Foley's Knight series so I've got all 7 on my wish list.

message 356: by UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish, Your Humble Servant (new)

UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish | 8001 comments Beverly, YES! I would definitely recommend it. It's not a light, fluffy read, but it doesn't have near the angst of McNaught's books. The Duke is a very good story. I'm trying to find the rest of the series used before I continue reading.

ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!! You and me both!!!

Believe it or not, the Twilight Saga books had me blushing and ***fanning myself*** when I read them, but the Black Dagger Brotherhood and those wild Carpathians were a shock to my nearly virginal eyes. Now I read eeeevvvvvverything! LOL

That's how "naive and innocent" I was. YES, they had me blushing. The part in... I can't remember which book, but Bella spends the day at the Cullen's to keep her safe, and she and Edward are on the bed kissing... I kid you not, I marked that page to re-read when I didn't have kids around.

BJ Rose (bjrose) | 848 comments Catherine wrote: "Good so far?"

Yep! It's not going to be a 5* read, but I'm enjoying it. This is a romantic suspense, and the heroine doesn't know why people are after her, and of course the hero is going to find out, with the help of Special Branch, but right now they're all befuddled! And there's a good secondary couple who can't stand each other, so you know they're going to get together!

I think the book that turned me into really hot books
Passion by Lisa Valdez . I used to read romance but nothing like this.

I remember picking it up at a Barnes & Noble, read a few pages and then my eyes almost came out of my head when I read the rest, LOLOLOL! Of course, I bought it right away. :p

Beverly | 64 comments I've finished Elizabeth's Hoyt Legend of the Four Soldiers, To Beguile a Beast (Legend of the Four Soldiers, #3) by Elizabeth Hoyt , which was excellent and To Desire A Devilwhich was not as good as the others IMHO.

I'm now reading Pamela Clare's Surrender and have the strange desire to be in a sweat lodge (with Iain).

There are books that are labeled erotica and are so dry it's painful. When I read Passion I was floored that it wasn't labeled erotica. It turned out to be so much more than I had expected though. It was a truly emotional story, and love story for the ages.

I kept thinking...your womb, woman! Your womb!

I was also surprised that book wasn't labeled erotica. It's really hot and the story was very good. I think I teared up myself at their separation.
