Where in the World are you from?
I'm in Southwold in Suffolk. But most summers you'll bump into me in Skegness or Ingoldmells. I love the market there.

My favourite dog walking spot was Anderby Creek, great to get away from it all for a few hours!

Spent a week in Skegness last year, and visited Ingoldmells, Mablethorpe, and Chapel St Leonards. All of which brought back fond memories of my youth. :-)

Love that!!!
About Barry I mean.
Unsure if I've commented here, but from Wales, Anglesey in fact, to be more precise, the place with the looong name that I'm not sure I can spell.
Now live in London.
Love them both, but in different ways.

Anderby Creek is nice, sadly hubbie doesn't like that kinda thing - he loves shopping, so no shop no fun to him.
Liz wrote: "Last UK address: Bath, would love to come back...."My last UK address was Guildford, Surrey and I also would love to come back one day.
We're thinking of moving from Bath to somewhere near saffron walden, preferably a village. My partner works in Earls Colne which is north west of Colchester and we'd like to be within commuting distance but on the Cambridge side. Is anybody from that area and an you make any recommendations of where to look?

I did have to Google that to spell it though. I went there just for a bookmark, although I'm pretty good at pronouncing it :-).
I believe there's a place down the coast that starts with D that's even longer.

It's pronounced Berno by the locals, but often mistakenly called Bruno by those visiting! We lived in a little village called Ivanovich, very pretty!

Thanks. I would have gone for Bruno as well :-)
Can't remember if I posted here or not LOL!I was born and raised in Ipswich, Suffolk. Apart from a couple of years, I've lived there all my life. I (and my wife) would love to get away from the town, which has gone to ruin, but don't have the where withal to do so.

:)
Originally from Varna (Bulgaria), though I always say I'm from Yorkshire (Beverley to be more precise) as I lived there throughout secondary school. I still go there a few times a year to see my parents but not tempted to move back "oop north".Now I live in Southwark, London, though I've lived in Bristol (not a very pleasant experience) and Watford (loveliest little place, though unfortunately too far to commute to Central London for work :( )
Meshell wrote: "Anyone from sunny weston super mare ( just out side Bristol ) ?"Nope, but I was down there on business about six weeks ago. I stayed at the Sandringham for a couple of nights.
It was my first trip to WSM and I'm considering going back for a few days, but for more of a vacation on my next visit. :-)
Cranfield is a cool name for a village. Sounds like a BBC period drama as well; or a detective, the sort played by Martin Shaw. Or a butler! So many things you can do with something that good. :-)

But I'm an eternal optimist, and I cling on in the hope that a stunning conclusion will have made it all worthwhile... sadly, I usually end up disappointed :(
