I'll keep an eye open for your new one. We won't be head to head at the next Brit Writers 'do'.
My publisher talked me into doing a gardening book, 'Beyond the Potting Shed' is a grow your own book aimed at saving money, rather than spending twice what it would cost to have bought the veg from a supermarket. Judging from the reviews in garden news and the likes I have for once got it right.
Time will tell. Next time we might get the chance to share a bevvey or two. Good luck with the new book.
Catch you latter.

I'm in Liverpool, but have lived at various times in London, Leicester (for Uni) and Northampton

you're just down/up the road from my 'publisher' Authors OnLine, their head office is in Gamlingay. I live in Norfolk about ten miles east of King's Lynn, a village called Narborough.

I am in North Dorset Kriss and often pop to Deven for the day!

Living in lovely York. Originally from the decidedly unlovely Blackpool.

Gamlingay is just a couple of miles from me, just a bike ride (but only in nice weather) - take care

Wow, fab! When I was small my Mum worked part time at the weekends and rather that give up his Saturday football my Dad got season tickets for my younger brother and I so we could go along with him. I used to love going even though I had no idea what was happening. It was the atmosphere and the singing and of course the Bovril that made it for me I think. Good times.

Based on your photo Gem......probably a bit before your time, but I was lucky enough to be going when Cyrille Regis et al were in their pomp in the late 70's. Never ever tried Bovril - sounds yuk!!

My mum and Dad live near Norwich.

So how's it In Scotland? ;)"
It's good in Scotland

My husband called his guinea pig "Cyrille" after that guy 0(we are talking a good 20 plus years ago!) He was a big hero of his when he played at Coventry City!
Hi all - I'm from Walsall, not far from West Brom, though being a Villa fan I try to avoid the area if poss. lol
My hero was from Lichfield just up the road - lovely City.
Stuart - I lived in Norwich for almost 4 years and it's bootiful ! Ha ha

Coventry, Walsall & Villa Park - all happy memories of my time at Leicester Uni and going to as many Liverpool games as my grant (now those were the days!) would allow

There's nothing wrong with Norfolk, I've been all over the U.K. as a driver and round the world as a soldier! Always glad to get back to 'home' in west Norfolk, just off the edge of the fens, right on the margins of 'breckland'
BTW I remember the late Bernard Matthews when he sold dodgey 2nd hand cars!!

I was born in Boughton, about five miles from Gooderstone! and lived in Oxborough for a time. What a small world! I now live in Narborough, about 8 miles from your ancestoral home, next door in Norfolk terms!

P.S next time you're this way drop me an email and pop in for a cuppa!

Well I never! Gooderstone churchyard is full of my Lambert ancestors, so guess it really is where my roots are! Oxborough Hall has been a favourite visiting place over the years - and I think that many, many years ago, one of my aunties was in service there.
