Thanks! Of the ones listed so far, I really loved Raised by Wolves. But I have some coming up that I'm really excited to read. =)
I didn’t like Raised by Wolves (kind of reminded me of Twilight a bit) but I'll definitely read the second book when it comes out. I would read just about anything you've listed so far-except for Lauren Kate.
You know, I'm not a huge Lauren Kate fan either but since I'd read the first book I felt compelled to read the second one. I have a very difficult time not finishing a series, even if it's not one that I really like. And for the first few chapters of Raised by Wolves I wasn't sure I would like it but it grew on me. And I felt like The Body Finder, while a totally different premise, was very Twilight-esque in the romance section. The only thing that kept me from thinking "yeah, right" was that they'd been friends for so long.
Tommie wrote: "You know, I'm not a huge Lauren Kate fan either but since I'd read the first book I felt compelled to read the second one. I have a very difficult time not finishing a series, even if it's not one..."I will avoid adding The Body Finder to my TBR, I'm tired of reading cheap imitations of Twilight (even though it's not fair of me to judge the book without even reading it). I might give Torment a read, but I definitely won't be buying it nor am I in a rush to read it. That's the bad thing about series, even if you dislike the book you still feel the need to continue.
Robin wrote: "Hello,In another topic I asked about the challenges since I'm a newbie who stumbled acrossed this group by signing up for a contest. I like the idea of having goals and being able to achiev..."
You got it Robin! :) it's awesome that you are pushing yourself to read again. I wish you the best of luck in your upcoming reading!
Sashana wrote: "I will avoid adding The Body Finder to my TBR, I'm tired of reading cheap imitations of Twilight (even though it's not..."I wish I had avoided The Body Finder. Now that I've read it, I'll have to read the next in the series. It's an illness really. It kills me not to finish a book or series. I can count on one hand the number of books that I've actually given up without finishing and they were so awful that I simply couldn't read them anymore. But like you, even if I plan to read another book in a "bad" series, I won't rush to read it and I certainly won't buy it. Thank god for the library.

I think I started the alphabet read so was wondering how you figured out which letter you are reading. For instance I am in the middle of a book entitled The Man Within, Feline Breeds 2 by Lora Leigh. So do I use the title, the series title or the author's name? I want to make sure I am following the correct guidelines. Thanks.
I've been using the book title. I went back to look at other posts and they too are using the book title. Hope the helps.
Okay so then based upon the info I shared above I would have the following entry: T -The Man Within, Feline Breed 2 by Lora Leigh.I just want to make sure I'm following the guidelines properly.
Since there are tons of books that start with "The" I've been going by the second word in the title. The book you listed would go under "M" for me, but you can do it however you want to. I just think that your way would be a lot harder, I would make it easier on yourself and go with the first letter of the second word. :o)
Okay thanks,There is always a reason why some things work while others don't. So any time The is used as the beginning of a title go with the second word in the title rather than using "the" as it is often used as the first word in a title.
As long as I know which way to set up my little spreadsheet i am fine.
Robin
Thanks,I'll take all the help I can get these days. i think I'll figure out some of the books to fit my challenge and then make my list and draw a line through once I have succeeded in killing the beast or beating the challenge the I'll tackle that spreadsheet.
Currently I'm working on whatI call Robin's Mammoth Book collection etcetera.
