I am at the library now and am borrowing four books for the authors challenge. The titles are more of a challenge although Google can help you find books with odd letters like X, Y and Z.

No, if you have a Kindle, you send me (via Personal Message) your eMail address that is linked to your Kindle and I "lend" you the book. You will get a message from Amazon, not me, telling you that you may borrow it for two weeks. So, timing is important; only borrow it when you're ready to read it.

I think "X" and "Z" are very hard. "Y" is doable. It really depends upon how much of a purist you want to be.

In my other group where we also do this challenge we are purists - one can use Xanadu for X or X-Men and for Z there is Zeitoun or Zoo by James Patterson among other titles.

It seems like most people here are ok dropping a "The" or "A" and using the next letter but I haven't noticed anyone just using a random x in the title.

Yes, Kelly, it is pretty common to ignore the indefinite and definite articles (a, an, the, etc.). However, otherwise most people are remaining purists.
