This is not The Haters Club You're Looking For discussion
The New facebook hate thread...

Blah, your right man... I need to man bag up.
Tom wrote: "So it's not that you hate facebook, really, it's that you've gone soft."
I think there was a strange aliment of the planets or something... strange wanderers. But I feel better now and am thinking of a vile reply that will probably end our friendship of 20 years, but what must be done will be done no matter the casualties. If they are real friends they would expect nothing less form me.

response 1: "My oldest was reading by the age of 4. He always did really well in school. I don't even know that I personally had anything to do with it...just his nature to read. Xander will do amazingly well in school, and you will have it easy (that is until he is bored with the classes because he is more advanced than his classmates!). good Job to Xan and his mom!!!!"
response 2: "You should be a very proud mama... Spencer is also Ready for Kindergarden.. he is reading the "BOB" Books. Can't believe how much of a sponge these boys can be..."
gag

i hate when people tag me in pictures that i'm not present!!!

Pass. I already kind of assumed that, anyway.

When speed reading, "metal mambo" looks like Montambo.
I love facebook, too. I'm an adult and I can decide how much of my life I want to share with facebookers and I can keep out what I don't. I love how I "see" all my Idaho cousins, elementary school friends, and so on, all the time. I love seeing people's photos and what my high school friend's husbands look like. And so on.

Hey, do you like her more now that you work with her?

Facebook Users Friend Responds:You are not lying I am afraid of Mexicans because of that !! it does suck going to WalMart... & to them it doesnt matter if your 10 or 20... they dont care !!
Then the barrage of retards join in:
i totally think the gold tooth look is hot! lol...what are they thinking when they do that?!
you said that right.......here in NC where I am at, hell they have their own part of town (stores & all) & still do that stupid shit & try to take over Wal-mart & everywhere else......wonder why Americans can't find jobs.....they have them all - Tax Free!!!!!
Obama can't come up with his real birth certificate but talks about "Illegal Immigrants this and Illegal Immigrants that." He wants them to succeed here. I think he's behind a lot of it. After all, when you enter the border of Kenya - the sign says "Home of Barak Obama". And he's our President....WTF???
Mom a couple of years ago was at the wal-mart and saw some doing the "deed" in the parking lot over the trunk of a car, I would of run into them and blamed it on the shock!!!!
You can't make this shit up people! This is copied and pasted!!

Looks like they've found a way to free their personal space of troublesome Mexicans.

My favorite part of that thread was where the one says that the Mexicans had there own stores and were still trying to take over Walmart. It makes me envision a Mexican Town Hall Meeting being held in the back of one of "their" stores in "their" part of town. They are plotting ways to take over more of this retarded hick town.
"We already have our own part of the town, stores and all, we need to develop a plan to take over more. What could we take over that would really piss off these gringos?"
"OH! I know! Walmart! These rednecks love their Walmart."
"Great idea esé, but we'll never be able to run them out of Walmart!"
"Just like Obama said, yes we can! You know they hate it when we whistle at them...before you know it, they'll all be driving 3 towns over to that new Super K-Mart"
"Great idea! That Walmart is as good as ours...we may have to rename that Bodega."

In a study released last January, the non-partisan political news provider, Congressional Quarterly, said President Obama has the most legislative success of any US president in the entire 50 years they've been tracking Capitol Hill. I won't list his administration's accomplishments (in the face of the most virulent obstructionism in history) here, knowing you'll call it spam. But if you're interested, a guy on Yahoo Answers has listed them pretty comprehensively. Possibly you could list the "stupid sh*t" of which you speak.
Anyone else here, who happens to appreciate having a prez they can actually respect, tell your friends.

That was the first shocking thing I've read in a loooooooooooooong time. What always surprises me when I hear people say stuff like that is that
A). They're dumb enough to think it
B). They're double dumb enough to say it out loud.
wow.

Ok, I'll bite:
Was almost wholly ineffective... and also legislation developed by his predecessors administration: Economic stimulus package, which rescued the world economy from collapse. Much of the money given to banks has been paid back with interest, and the president is pursuing a temporary tax on bailed out financial institutions in order to recover the rest. Many other policy victories were contained in the stimulus package; some are listed below.
I don't call this an accomplishment either, leave it to a bleeding heart to finance failure: Auto industry rescue, which saved tens of thousands of jobs and stabilized the economies of Michigan and other auto-industry states.
I actually like this one, but again I don't see how this is Obamas accomplishment: Stem cell research protections
Again this is an accomplishment how?: Reversal of the Bush ban on funding overseas family planning clinics International Relations.
Errmmm... Oh you mean the Bush plan: Withdrawal from Iraq proceeding on schedule, resources redirected to Afghanistan-Pakistan region as promised.
Prove it: End of torture and closure of CIA "black sites"
Donni, I have some snake oil to sell you: Closure of Guantanamo Bay prison under way.

The only thing accomplished here was forcing drilling to take place in areas that doesn't have the supporting technology to support: Protection of 2 million acres from oil and gas drilling and other development.
Just enough to get states in trouble, which is why many states refused it. Sure plenty of capital to fund programs for two years then it is up to the states to make the budget: Billions in stimulus funding for education, with a focus on improved performance under Education Secretary Arne Duncan, a renowned reformer.
So has Americas racial problem improved or worsened since our nations "Historical" presidential election? And then totally ignores it, becoming one of the most two face lying through their teeth administration since Nixon.: Historic Open Government Initiative; As the government reform coalition Democracy21 reported, the Obama administration has adopted "the strongest and most comprehensive lobbying, ethics and transparency rules and policies ever established by an Administration to govern its own activities
Get the picture?

No Teresa, they are not from the DC Metro Area. They are "river" people and only acquaintances. Friends of Yoko. If they were to have spoken of MS13 that way, they would have met a certain death by machete.

{Believe me, I’m not happy about how ANY aspect of the financial industry has been handled in the past 25 years, and have been very suspicious of the bailouts. I want a number of dismantled regulations put back in place; antitrust laws applied to “too big to fail” organizations (and then, of course, enforced – novel concept); jailtime for defrauding the public with crazy investment products, and oh, SO much more. The Finance Reform Bill appears to be addressing most of my concerns although I’m definitely withholding a passing grade until I see results. Bottom line: Things MAY be going in the right direction.}
2. I don't call this an accomplishment either, leave it to a bleeding heart to finance failure: Auto industry rescue, which saved tens of thousands of jobs and stabilized the economies of Michigan and other auto-industry states.
{We disagree on this, or at least at this moment. I was against it too. But it saved a buttload of jobs, and even created 55,000 more, which is something we all want to see. Also, Ford, GM, and Chrysler have all reported profits for the first time in 5 years. And like the banks, the Big 3 seem to be paying off their loans. Again, I’m withholding judgment, but things look better than I expected.}
3. I actually like this one, but again I don't see how this is Obama’s accomplishment: Stem cell research protections
{What?? He lifted Bush’s ban on federal funding!}
4. Again this is an accomplishment how?: Reversal of the Bush ban on funding overseas family planning clinics.
{Frankly, I knew no more about this than you, but I looked it up. For years we’ve been making it impossible to deliver comprehensive reproductive healthcare to women in developing nations. According to one article I just read, “More than 250 health and human rights organizations from around the world sent Obama a letter, thanking him for ending a policy ‘which has contributed to the deaths and injuries of countless women and girls.’" This may or may not be much of an accomplishment to you, which is fair enough. It is to me.
5. Errmmm... Oh you mean the Bush plan: Withdrawal from Iraq proceeding on schedule, resources redirected to Afghanistan-Pakistan region as promised.
{I’m not going to say anything here about Bush vis a vis Iraq! Whatever gets you through the night, Serv.}
6. Prove it: End of torture and closure of CIA "black sites"
{Can’t argue with that. I agree the statement’s, how you say, a tad on the overblown side.}
7. Donni, I have some snake oil to sell you: Closure of Guantanamo Bay prison under way.
{Ditto. But -- as in the point above – steps are being taken to shut down these illegal institutions and stop the barbaric activities.}
8. o_O : Transformation of relations with the Arab world through the Cairo speech and other measures.
{Don’t understand your cipher there, Serv, but again, I’d certainly say the word “transformation” is a bit much. It seems more apt to say there’s been an uptick in US-Mideast relations.}
9. I really don't think so... read the U.K. Times some time: Restoration of the United States' ranking as the most admired country in the world
{Again, “an uptick” is more accurate.}
10. You're fucking kidding right? : Nobel Peace Prize
{I don’t see your problem with this. The Nobel Prize committee said said they wanted to promote the president just they had Mikhail Gorbachev in 1990 for his efforts to open up the Soviet Union. As they put it: "His diplomacy is founded in the concept that those who are to lead the world must do so on the basis of values and attitudes that are shared by the majority of the world's population." What’s the problem?}
11. The only thing accomplished here was forcing drilling to take place in areas that doesn't have the supporting technology to support: Protection of 2 million acres from oil and gas drilling and other development.
{I don’t know, Serv, big oil is more snugly in bed with legislators and regulators than probably any other US industry, and a lot of that is the result of the Bush clan’s cozy involvement. Do you really want to go there?}
12. Just enough to get states in trouble, which is why many states refused it. Sure plenty of capital to fund programs for two years then it is up to the states to make the budget: Billions in stimulus funding for education, with a focus on improved performance under Education Secretary Arne Duncan, a renowned reformer.
{Being married to a high school teacher, I have so much despair for education in this country I don’t even know where to start. The citizens of this nation largely have no respect for education, so it’s hardly surprising we don’t provide it well for our kids. This one I’ll wish them good luck on.}
13. So has Americas racial problem improved or worsened since our nations "Historical" presidential election? In a nation that is supposed to be striving to be color blind I hear a lot of racial tags applied to... yeah everybody.: Confirmation of Sonia Sotomayor as the first Latina ever to serve on the Supreme Court Labor.
{Oh no, I think this administration has completely wiped out centuries of racial tension. In 18 months, too. Don’t you feel it? Silly boy. Seriously, I consider Sotomayor’s confirmation an achievement. If you don’t, that’s your right.}
14. And then totally ignores it, becoming one of the most two face lying through their teeth administration since Nixon.: As the government reform coalition Democracy21 reported, the Obama administration has adopted "the strongest and most comprehensive lobbying, ethics and transparency rules and policies ever established by an Administration to govern its own activities
{We definitely disagree. I don't suggest they're as transparent as I'd like them to be, but I doubt any government could be.}
So you disagree with 14 out of the 37 points that guy listed. That still gives Obama a 62% approval rating with you. Not too bad. What I don’t get is that Obama’s gotten uber respect from many serious and deeply admired people around the globe – why don’t you want to be happy about that? And he was handed a big steaming dish of dirt by the outgoing administration, has faced the most obstructionist opposition party in Congressional US history (according to the Senate's own figures) and STILL set a legislative record, almost 2/3 of which you’re in favor of. What does it take to get your support in hard times, boy?
A friend of mine got married today and posted this:
"loves her husband!!! We did it babe, we did it!!!! I get to spend eternity with my best friend. What a feeling"
I wanted to reply "Or at least all the time between now and your divorce proceedings." But something strange happened... I had a moment of empathy. And I hate that.
