I won't say any more..."I agree with you Ann, but there is some good tension with Harry and a certain lady cop throughout the books, but now I've read small favour, I can see the tension with another character.

You would think with it being summer and laying out by the pool you would have more reading time, but I swear it is like I'm losing hours in the day instead of gaining them.

X10. Desire Untamed (Feral Warriors #1) by Pamela Palmer {N.L.}DONE 6/18/2010 at 4 am I have to give this 4 ½ stars. From the moment I started it I could not stop reading it. A really different take on shape shifters, their female leader (radiant), and those they battle - mages and daimons. Thanks for the recommendation (N.L.). I will be looking for more of this author.
Just got back from a week’s vacation where I got in very little reading. I know I won’t finish by the 30th but I will finish up as I start July’s challenge.
9/10 - Wooo, I got a friend who had a book I read on her shelf! Thanks Rachel!The last one is still unknown though... unless another friend has either The Red Pyramid or Warrior Rising on their lists!
MARTINA'S JUNE "READING WITH FRIENDS" PNR CHALLENGE UPDATE . . . 8/10 COMPLETEJust finished Changeless (Parasol Protectorate #2) by Gail Carriger (★★★★). This book is technically a UF but it reads very much like a PNR. Steampunk paranormal romance, to be exact. There isn't much out there like this, so if it sounds interesting, picking up this series is a MUST.
While I still very much enjoyed this book, I didn't find it as good as the first one (Soulless). The story-line took way too long to suck me in (no pun indended) this time - it was just too slow-moving! I loved the resolution of the story, if not the ending between Alexia & Conall. Of course, the way it ended pretty much assured that I'll read next book in the series, so it is a good vehicle for the series progression, I suppose. *shrug*
