message 6551: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I've not though of that. Is there some mispronunciation that turns that order into asking for a massage or something?

TPBM has roasted their own red peppers.

message 6552: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I can't say I've ever done that before. My step-dad has in order to make stuffed bell peppers, but not me.

TPBM enjoys the quiet of waiting in a car when they are unexpectedly early to a destination.

message 6555: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Nope. I'd get too anxious and then I'd get impatient then bored.

TPBM is a morning person?

message 6556: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments Not even close. I wake up in the afternoon and still feel exhausted. Not much progress was made in treating my sleep apnea. Then again, it hasn't even happened yet.

TPBM wonders what it is about the name Joe that makes people want to use it as part of their nicknames (examples include Samoa Joe, Joe Hardcore, Banana Joe, Average Joe, GI Joe, etc.)

message 6557: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments It sound cool?

TPBM is short.

message 6558: by Deepak (new)

Deepak (noobhemingway) | 284 comments I never thought about that. I think I attributed it to being a common name like how they have John Doe.

TPBM has gone zip lining.

message 6559: by Deepak (new)

Deepak (noobhemingway) | 284 comments Whoops. Sorry Lee-lette! My browser isn't loading GR very well for some reason.

I'm a bit tall back home but average here in the US.

TPBM doesn't like Google Chrome.

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4489 comments If I eat too many I will have none or something small yet delicious the next day (my diet is not too strict; it's weird to say this way of eating is working but hope I stay on the wagon this time) ;)

TPBM wishes if they had the money they'd travel to places in the world and take in the many cultures.

message 6561: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments As long as my travels didn't include sitting uncomfortably still for hours on end, yes, I could live with that.

TPBM once said the words "I’m not mad!" in an angry voice.

message 6562: by Deepak (new)

Deepak (noobhemingway) | 284 comments Knowing my friends, I probably would have done that.

TPBM is afraid of insects.

message 6563: by Angie (new)

TPBM has never participated in NaNoWriMo but wants to give it a go this year.

message 6567: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I don't have any plans to do that. Coming up with a novel on the spot isn't my forte. My novels take advance planning. Proper planning prevents piss poor performance. The six P's.

If TPBM ever has to wake up early in the morning, he or she at least finds the black skies comforting.

message 6568: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I wake at 5 am almost every morning and find that black skies are a part of the scenery.

TPBM enjoys looking at stars, and is always surprised at how many more s/he can see when s/he is away from city lights.

message 6569: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Absolutely. I keep wanting to go out into the desert with some close friends to go star gazing, but plans never seem to work out.

TPBM doesn't understand the social media practice of posting philosophical quotes with completely unrelated photos (such as flowers, waterfalls, or pictures of themselves).

message 6570: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Lol! I find the posting of philosophical quotations to be often funny on their own, because the context of the quotation is not included and may not mean exactly what it seems to mean.

TPBM likes collecting quotations that are meaningful to him/her, even if, or especially if, they are likely unknown or confusing to others.

TPBM enjoys making playlists.

TPBM doesn’t understand the idea behind a record company releasing greatest hits albums when iTunes and other internet music outlets can provide that same feeling.

message 6582: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments The only reason I can see is if they add bonus features/tracks onto it. But if they're just regrouping songs to be able to sell them twice, I don't see the value.

TPBM agrees that seeing someone during the day and spending quality time with them are two different things.

message 6583: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I agree wholeheartedly. In my own life, it's the difference between eating supper in the same room as my mom and spending time to give her a shoulder massage and some conversation. I'm such a momma's boy. :)

TPBM takes pride in his or her own weirdness.

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments That's a long time!! I though you were going to say something like 'but I graduated earlier this year or last year even' not 7 years ago!!

TPBM is suddenly sleepy when it starts getting dark out.

message 6587: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I'm not even close to being sleepy yet. I still have an episode of NCIS and an episode of NCIS: New Orleans to watch tonight. I'll be damned if I miss them. And yes, Lee-Lette, 2009 feels so far away compared to today. :)

TPBM has eaten snake sausage before and thought it tasted like normal pork sausage.

TPBM just got their copy of The Amazing Book is Not on Fire and is super excited to read it.

message 6589: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments No, I haven't. But with a title as interesting as that, it might not be long until I do. Hehe!

TPBM knows something about book marketing and has valuable advice for me.

message 6590: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments The weather here in Washington state is moderately cool, so I don't have to worry about being sweaty and sticky all the time.

TPBM gets attached to certain clothing items for no obvious reason.

message 6595: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Not any more. Yoga and the DeCamillis stretch have helped me get to a single thin pillow.
