message 6651: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Not at all.

TPBM considers themselves to be a good conversationalist.

message 6652: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments LOL! I have no idea how to define 'good', here. Does it mean someone who is a good listener and allows the conversation to gently meander, or someone who is eloquent and verbose and steers the conversation with fascinating anecdotes and graceful erudition? In either case I am clearly bad at it.

TPBM is reducing within his or her self the need to categorize experiences as either good or bad.

message 6653: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Nope. I was thinking of making chocolate chips, but have decided to write instead.

TPBM bought a book today at a friend's recommendation.

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Nope! Ate some organic dark for desert tonight! :-)

TPBM recently purchased a pair of shoes which instantly became their favourite because of how well they fit, feel and look.

message 6658: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Nope. Although I enjoy both cheap and not cheap teas of various sorts.

TPBM likes to do yoga in bare feet.

message 6659: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Nope. Most of the ones I got for myself are still alive. The 10 year old African violet in my office is in brilliant full bloom tight now.

TPBM feels like a stranger in a strange land most of the time.

message 6660: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Nope. Marsh mallow is an incomprehensibly horrid taste. Except with rice criss pies, for some reason.

TPBM would like to make some chocolate coconut macaroons.

message 6661: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Lol! Not a Canadian spelling. Odd autocorrect and inattentive smartphone typer.

TPBM is listening to music with horns.

message 6666: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments Maybe not horns, but Arabian flutes instead. The song is called "Soulfly X" and it's by, surprise, surprise, Soulfly.

When creating an online dating profile, TPBM keeps his or her economic status a secret because he or she wants to be judged by character, not money.

message 6667: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I haven't done that because I haven't created a dating profile. Well, I haven't dared.

TPBM is puzzled at what the exact meaning is of 'You can't have your cake and eat it too.'

message 6671: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I have no idea what it means, but it makes me hungry for some vanilla cake. Mmm-mmm-mmm!

When writing the ending to a story, TPBM tries really hard to find the middle ground between surprising the readers and committing Deus Ex Machina.

message 6672: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I do, unless the Deus Ex Machina has been adequately foreshadowed.

TPBM sees images of God hanging from wires onto a tiny and crowded stage evetytime s/he sees the prase 'Deus Ex Machina.'

message 6673: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments That is what Deus Ex Machina was originally intended to be since the ancient Greeks did it when putting on plays.

TPBM once got the rock band The Police confused with the actual police department.

message 6674: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I do not.

TPBM is aware that Sting went to a Jungian psychologist at the time The Police were recording Synchronicity.

message 6675: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments That would explain where his lyrical content for that album came from, especially with the song "Mother".

TPBM wishes someone would make a drug or alcohol product that made the user act intelligently instead of foolishly.

message 6688: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Why? People would feed on it!!

TPBM longs to sit back, relax and write.

message 6689: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I'm going to have the opportunity to write tomorrow when a new short story contest comes to the group. Of course, I did some writing today already with a Deviant Art journal about "Getting with the Times" and a review of a WWE match between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker, so I'm good for today.

TPBM got to watch The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror 26 this year.

message 6690: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Nope.

TPBM enjoys writing about personal experiences that had an impact on him/her.

message 6691: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I used to write auto-biographical essays all the time until they brought back memories I didn't necessarily want to have thrown in my face. Sometimes personal demons are best left buried in their graves.

TPBM knows that Zelda is the Princess in the Legend of Zelda.

message 6695: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments It is? I thought that was Zorba. ;-)

TPBM thinks that the movie the Princess Bride is good but not great.

message 6696: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Never watched it.

TPBM likes home cooked meals.

message 6697: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Who doesn't? (Provided that the cook knows how to cook...)

TPBM has a member of the family who is so bad at cooking they could probably burn water.

message 6698: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yes. I've yet to taste food as bad as the worst of my maternal grandmother's.

TPBM knows their family tree back several generations.

message 6699: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Not at all. I barely know it 2 generations back.
