TPBM voted for their favorite books on the Goodreads Choice Awards.

message 6752: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Nope. My taste in books is to out side the norm for my voting to do anything but leave a faint bad odour.

TPBM had ice cream for desert tonight.

message 6753: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments I had ice cream but not in the night, t'was late afternoon.

TPBM fell asleep at their computer.

message 6755: by Garrison (new)

message 6756: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I've not been so inclined. The sensory deprivation tank, however, has my curiosity.

TPBM has not heard of a 'sensory deprivation tank' before.

message 6757: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments We talked about it in my psychology class. It's a room that absorbs sounds so completely that it is completely silent, etc. I believe the longest anyone's been able to stay in it is ~60 minutes?

TPBM wants to go in a submarine deep into the ocean just to watch how life is there.

message 6758: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Yes, minus the deep into the ocean part.

TPBm is patriotic when necessary.

message 6759: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments It depends on where I am at the time and whether or not that place has earned my patriotism.

TPBM thinks the metal band Bullet For My Valentine has a cool name.

message 6760: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I don't love it, but I don't hate it.

TPBM has the day off tomorrow.

message 6761: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments Since I'm unemployed, every day is a day off for me, so I keep myself busy with my writing and reading.

TPBM is in no way a party animal.

message 6762: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments True.

TPBM prefers to stay home with a book than going to a fair/carnival etc. etc.

message 6763: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments As a hardcore introvert, I couldn't agree more, Lee-Lette. :)

TPBM has moments where he or she is super-productive one day and feeling lazy the next (this would be referred to as an “adrenaline dump”).

message 6764: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Yes, but I wouldn't say lazy, I'd say productive one day and energy conserving the next.

TPBM hates when they have lots of assignments due at the same time.

message 6765: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments That happened pretty much all throughout my college and high school careers. I got used to it over time.

message 6766: by Lee (new)

message 6768: by Lee (last edited Nov 10, 2015 07:54PM) (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments That sentence sounds like something a doctor would say so i'm just going to nod and pretend that I agree.

TPBM is a health maniac?

(Hi Guy!!)

message 6769: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments [Hello Lee-lette!]

message 6772: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I would be pleased if it was!

TPBM was up too late last night and is now exhausted.

message 6773: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I'm up too late and exhausted every morning all the time. The only reason I got up as early as I did was because I kept having nightmares about wild animals growling at me.

TPBM believes that pride should be reserved for something achieved on his or her own and not for something that happens by accident of birth (being American isn’t a skill).

message 6774: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Hmm. This is complicated because the word 'pride' has two antithetical meanings. Healthy pride does not announce itself but remains quiet regardless the accomplishments or inheritances. Unhealthy pride is what comes before the fall. Not sure if that was a proper answer.
TPBM is walking in sun on a gorgeous fall day.

message 6775: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments I wish.

TPBM has a disease that is hereditary?

message 6776: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I was born male. Does that count as a hereditary disease? Otherwise not to my knowledge. Well, prone to low pH in my body.

TPBM likes to take pictures of clouds.

message 6777: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments (Very funny Guy)

TPBM sometimes has a lazy day.

message 6778: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Absolutely! But they have become, in the last few years, few and far between.

TPBM has yet to finish reading their third book this year.

message 6779: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments If you mean third set of 20, then yes.

TPBM just commented after me.

TPBM is a heavy sleeper.

message 6784: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments It depends on the night and the conditions under which I fell asleep.

message 6789: by Guy (last edited Nov 11, 2015 09:08PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Lol! Nope. They are what they are. When possible I avoid them, otherwise see them as an opportunity to be quiet and enjoy my own company.

TPBM is puzzled that beauty pageants are popular.

message 6790: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments Shallowness is the law of the land and sex sells. I'm puzzled by it too.

TPBM dresses only for comfort and doesn’t care how his or her outfit looks to other people.

message 6791: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Mostly, but not completely. Recently I have become aware of my Self in a different way, and while I dress for comfort, I have now become aware of when I have spilt food or liquids on my clothes, which I never used to. Odd.

TPBM has certain friends whose houses they visit solely to see their friend's dog.

message 6796: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments My friends here in Port Orchard don't have dogs as far as I know. I'm happy with Maggie and Willem here at home. They're so sweet! ^_^

TPBM knows of another person in the world aside from the WWE wrestler with the last name Strowman.

message 6797: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Not that i'm aware of.

TPBM is jovial.

message 6798: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Not really but I am generally able to laugh at life and my flopping around in it.

TPBM doesn't like how s/he looks on a mirror.

message 6799: by Garrison (last edited Nov 12, 2015 09:06PM) (new)
