message 6401: by Deepak (new)

Deepak (noobhemingway) | 284 comments I've been described by my friends as someone who has shades of a British and an American accent with a bit of an Indian tinge (which I'll admit is hard to lose). So I can do a British accent. It although makes me sound like a posh prat. Can't do the American accent though. I can't do the R's.

TPBM is going to be drinking a lot of coffee today.

message 6402: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I don't like coffee, so no, that won't be true. My primary source of caffeine comes from diet sodas. Lord knows I need to stay awake during moments of sleep apnea-induced haziness.

TPBM will never date anybody who is already married.

message 6403: by Deepak (new)

Deepak (noobhemingway) | 284 comments Definitely. I will not. Pardon the expression but that sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

TPBM feels that true musicians aren't being appreciated anymore.

message 6404: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments No, but I've written a few essays on it.

TPBM plays an instrument.

message 6405: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I can play the piano, but not as well as I'd like. Then again, I hardly practice anymore, so that might have something to do with it.

TPBM would read a fantasy novel about an orcish warrior who used a scythe as his main weapon and dressed like the grim reaper.

message 6406: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4489 comments Hmm, sounds enthralling!

TPBM has a book they just can't put down!

message 6407: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments No matter how good my books are, at some point I have to put them down and give my eyes and my mind a rest. Such is the nature of being easily tired.

Without looking it up on Dictionary.com, TPBM knows what the word "Inamorata" means.

message 6408: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (last edited Sep 29, 2015 07:29PM) (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4489 comments (eyes darting back and forth) Yes! I know what it is.... (whispering) by looking at en.wiktionary.org.... shhh!

TPBM is in a goofy mood.

message 6409: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I'm always in a goofy mood. In fact, I posted two jokes to the Humor thread and then made a Photoshop picture of Ric Flair as a Mind Flayer from D&D. Hehe!

TPBM plans on watching The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror this year.

message 6410: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments No plans, but since I don't watch TV that is no slight against Homer et al.

TPBM has read or read about The Upanishads.

message 6411: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I won't argue with you about that!

TPBM is looking for a new job.

message 6412: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I probably should be, but I'm not. I'm happy with being a self-published author despite only making $1.16.

TPBM went to You Tube, looked up the new age song “Inamorata” by David Arkenstone and Charlee Brooks, and thought it was the most beautiful thing he or she had ever heard.

message 6413: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Not really, I think that for some it is the right thing to write, and others probably not.

TPBM is finding themselves waffling over the silliest things these days.

message 6414: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I can't say I've ever done that yet, but boy, do those waffles sound delicious! Oh wait, that's not what waffling is, is it? Oh. Hehe!

TPBM is a good sport about getting negative reviews (because everyone is entitled to their own opinion, good, bad, or indifferent).

message 6415: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Nope, I just finished a late breakfast.

TPBM is chomping at the bit to read and write more popcorn.

message 6416: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments That is hard to answer, as I've not had time to write any, recently. But the latest round has got me wanting to dive into again.

TPBM enjoyed re-reading a friend's poetry blog.

message 6417: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I don't have many friends with a poetry blog, so I wouldn't know where to start.

TPBM likes going to aquariums because he or she thinks sea otters are adorable.

message 6418: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments The fish are absolutely lovely too. Aquariums seem so peaceful.

TPBM feels their allergies worsening as fall comes.

message 6419: by Deepak (new)

Deepak (noobhemingway) | 284 comments I don't have many allergies. So I can't say.

TPBM doesn't like seeing the unread email notification.

message 6420: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I can relate to that, Deepak, because it sometimes means an admin wants to tell me that I've overstepped my boundaries in terms of mature content. Those emails never feel good to read.

TPBM thinks it’s redundant that Nabisco has a product called "Cookies & Cream Oreos".

message 6421: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I do, but I also find that what Nabisco calls cookies stretches what I have come to understand the concept 'cookie' means.

TPBM ate something today with a pumpkin flavour or theme.

message 6422: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Not until you mentioned it, although my want for coffee stuff has begun to wain now that it has been 13 months since I've had a cup of anything coffee or coffee based.

TPBM has recently started using matcha in their infusions and cooking.

message 6423: by Deepak (new)

Deepak (noobhemingway) | 284 comments Yeah. I'm going to chalk it up to the effects of the all-nighter.

TPBM has a busy rest of the week.

message 6424: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I stay up until 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning strictly out of boredom. And then I wake up 12 or 13 hours later to start my day. What I life I lead.

TPBM doesn’t judge people by their age when handing out Halloween candy.

message 6425: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I'm always down for chocolate, especially if there's peanut butter mixed in with it.

TPBM thinks it’s silly that there’s an organization called “The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms” since those are three things nobody should be using simultaneously.

message 6426: by Deepak (new)

Deepak (noobhemingway) | 284 comments Oh yeah. Chocolate is my coping mechanism sometimes in addition to writing and cooking.

TPBM has funky tee-shirts and loves them

message 6427: by Guy (last edited Sep 30, 2015 09:10PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments [At Garrison.] LOL! The department was formed as a means of allowing criminals to buy government officials.

Nope. Well... no, not funky.

TPBM has hunted with a rifle.

message 6428: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Al wrote: "Hahaha

We all posted at the same time!"

[ :-) Yup. That hasn't happened in a while. How is everyone tonight? Well, hungry, craving chocolate, headachy, and me - a little tired and sad. Hello everyone. ]

message 6429: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yes, I do. We haven't had much this year, in this temperate rainforest.

TPBM is struggling to multi-task tonight, but is too distracted.

message 6430: by Deepak (new)

Deepak (noobhemingway) | 284 comments Yeah. A slight drizzle or a heavy downpour, rain is always awesome!

[Sorry about that. Although it was awesome that we posted at about the same time. XD for the tees.]

TPBM had some amazing muffins today.

message 6431: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Al wrote: "(Not only am I hungry, but I'm HANGRY as well. ;] )"

[ :-) Yup. English is such an expressive and dance-able language. ]

message 6432: by Guy (last edited Sep 30, 2015 09:18PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments @ Deepak. I did. I made apricot blueberry muffins with spelt flower and yoghurt. So so SO good!

@ Al. Sometimes.

TPBM likes Grass cuts.

message 6433: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Al wrote: "Never mind. Not making blueberry muffins."
[I suggest you add some re-hydrated dried apricots. The combination is excellent!]

message 6434: by Deepak (last edited Sep 30, 2015 09:41PM) (new)

Deepak (noobhemingway) | 284 comments I haven't heard of them before. I listened to a bit. I think I might like them.

[Sorry about the interruption again. I was looking at the wrong page.]

TPBM likes to lip-sync to songs.

(G'Night everyone! Too tired! Being here was fun as always :D!)

message 6435: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments [Good night, Deepak!]

Not a lot, but a little. I'm not great at remembering lyrics.

TPBM had a conversation today with someone about a favourite old album. [By old, go way back to the 70s!]

message 6436: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments Maybe not today, but on the 25th anniversary of Pantera releasing "Cowboys From Hell", I had a 40 year old friend say he was going to "hide his cassette tapes" because he felt so old. Hehe!

TPBM can translate the Spanish phrase "Sangre Por Sangre".

message 6437: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yes.

TPBM likes the Science Fiction of Fritz Leiber.

message 6438: by Guy (last edited Sep 30, 2015 10:10PM) (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Only hints and allegations of it because of its common latin roots with the 'romantic' languages and English.

TPBM gave a hug today to someone who was was crying.

message 6439: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I love hugs no matter who they come from. I guess I'm just an affectionate kind of guy! And as far as Fritz Lieber goes, I can't say I've ever heard of him. Sorry!

TPBM likes to eat at sushi bars.

message 6440: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I used to, but haven't since last year.

TPBM is finding it hard to concentrate tonight.

message 6441: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I won't be eating sushi or veggie rolls tonight. For my midnight snack...I haven't figured it out yet.

TPBM considers food and beverages to be his or her vice.

message 6442: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments LOL! I keep a stash, and so don't need to say it. Lately I've discovered I like to have organic dark cooking chocolate with small pieces of candied Australian ginger.

TPBM is using a pen on paper to write in their journal tonight.

message 6443: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Not always, but often and perhaps even usually.

TPBM has several letters they would like to write in the next day or two.

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Nope, but maybe soon that could happen, but I hope not.

TPBM just put in an order for some more books. [Good night Al. Good luck with the headache and the chocolate cravings. Good night, Garrison.]

message 6445: by Marie (new)

Marie (naturechild02) I just added books to my Amazon wishlist, bought a few off of it, and got some new graphic novels the other day. I need to lay off purchases for a while.

TPBM has developed a vampire sleep schedule.

message 6446: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Lol! Nope, not yet.

TPBM likes blueberries with their breakfast, whether in cereal, muffins, yoghurt or smoothies.

message 6447: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Not really.

TPBM is writing?

message 6448: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Nope. But I slightly undercooked the pumpkin bread I made on Sunday, but it was just cooked enough to be edible.

TPBM had a great walk this beautiful fall morning.

message 6449: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I walked and it was morning. But it was 95 degrees and sunny so I don't think it counts as fall just yet.

TPBM hates having to talk in an accent because they can't shake it off for hours.

message 6450: by Deepak (new)

Deepak (noobhemingway) | 284 comments Sadly no. I had class at 8. Which went wonderfully. Prof cancelled class after the tangents got too overwhelming. As a whole, the train of thought of the class was amazing.

TPBM wants a nice, warm, sunny day.
