message 6151: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I can't say I've ever done that before. If I start singing a song or reciting movie dialogue, I go all the way through, or at least until I figure out someone is listening. Hehe!

TPBM justifies not smiling by saying, "I’m neutral."

message 6152: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I'm a smiler, so my default expression is always some type of smile. The only problem is when I'm smiling in a situation that is serious/sad.

TPBM has heard that scorpions are monogamous and travel in pairs with their mates.

message 6153: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments Scorpions can do whatever they want as long as it's away from my general vacinity. They scare the crap out of me.

Even during the smallest instances of pain, TPBM will scream like he or she is being ripped apart by wild animals.

message 6154: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Nope.

TPBM has listened to songs sung by William Shatner (i.e. Captain Kirk).

message 6155: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments No, I haven't. If his breaks in between words are any indication of his singing abilities, I'll pass.

TPBM was moved by the "Nothing is over!" speech at the end of the movie First Blood.

message 6156: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I honestly do not remember. I would have seen that in 1983, most likely, 32 years ago.

TPBM finds it amazing that First Bood is over thirty years old.

message 6157: by Marie (new)

Marie (naturechild02) It is hard to believe. I remember watching it as a small kid and thinking it was so frickin awesome. Now I just feel old.

TPBM has to kick cats out to go to bed at night otherwise sleep will be impossible.

message 6158: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments Smokey sleeps with me pretty much every night. She loves my bed and probably loves my new age music too. She's such a little stinker. ^_^

TPBM justifies his or her sneezes, burps, and farts by nonchalantly saying, "It’s a natural function."

message 6159: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I've never felt the need to justify my bodily functions, so no.

When TPBM watches Les Miserables, Valjean ' death always makes them cry.

message 6160: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I don't watch Les Miserables, so I wouldn't know if that death would make me cry or not. Besides, it takes a lot to get me to cry these days.

TPBM thinks Pillow Pets, Happy Nappers, and Cuddle-Uppets are cute.

message 6161: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I suppose.

TPBM has had a stuffed animal more than four feet wide/tall.

message 6162: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I still have a stuffed white bunny named Pancakes who fits those measurements. He's covered in dust and dirt, but I love him all the same. ^_^

TPBM thinks The Pyrocrats is a good name for a heavy metal band.

message 6163: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (ace-geek) Pretty good.

TPBM has trouble picking a format when a book is available in both paper and audiobook form.

message 6164: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I go with paper every time. I love that smell of fresh paper too much to give it up. If I wanted an audio CD so badly, I'll go to a record store.

TPBM likes being given a direct answer to a question as opposed to being told to look it up elsewhere.

message 6165: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Yes, especially if the person knows the answer and is capable of sharing.

TPBM doesn't understand why it's considered heroic when the protagonist in a movie/TV show/book escapes the villain by putting bystanders in mortal danger.

message 6166: by Marie (new)

Marie (naturechild02) I don't consider that heroic!

TPBM wants to read the graphic novels based on the TV show Firefly.

message 6167: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I don't watch Firefly, but judging from all the fanfare it received, I wouldn't be against reading the graphic novels. :)

TPBM has at least one character in his or her stories named Neville.

message 6168: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Nope, can't say I do.

TPBM wishes that they hadn't discontinued Firefly.

message 6169: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I can't discontinue Firefly, because I haven't started it yet. I probably have a long ways to go. Hell, I have a hard enough time catching up on NCIS: Los Angeles.

TPBM thinks Necrograph is a good name for a book of dark poetry.

message 6170: by Marie (last edited Aug 22, 2015 10:10PM) (new)

Marie (naturechild02) It would be! Sounds dark.
(Also, I think I will be using the name Neville in one of my stories now!)

TPBM wishes they'd make a TV show of J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series. It would be like Trueblood but, well, better.

message 6171: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments It sounds like fun.

TPBM doesn't understand why s/he enjoys Bjork's music, but does.

message 6172: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I've never listened to Bjork's music before. I did however see Slipknot, Lamb of God, and Three Days Grace last night in Auburn. Not quite the same thing, is it?

TPBM thinks Mojo is a good name for an animal.

message 6173: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yes, but not just any animal.

TPBM enjoys watching cooking shows and has actually cooked things s/he has seen.

message 6174: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments It doesn't apply to me, but it does apply to my step-dad Dale. He makes things like stuffed bell peppers, biscuits and gravy, and fried scallops to name a few. Mmm-mmm-mmm!

TPBM enjoys cooking and eating tuna tacos.

message 6175: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Not since becoming a veg-head.

TPBM would like to think that vegetarians are likely not crazy, but is not quite able to.

message 6176: by Nadia (new)

message 6177: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments None that I am aware of.

TPBM likes to change and mix up baking recipes.

message 6178: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I don't have access to that many baking recipes, so no, I don't. The things I'm actually able to make are limited. I can microwave a frozen burrito, but I can't make one from scratch.

TPBM is thirsty for a cherry vanilla coke.

message 6179: by [deleted user] (new)

No, I'm actually thirsty for coffee :)

TPBM is craving for a burrito (since Garrison has mentioned it).

message 6180: by Connie (last edited Aug 25, 2015 04:02AM) (new)

Connie D. | 656 comments No. I currently have no appetite.

TPBM knows that the internet provides nearly unlimited access to recipes if a person has any real interest in cooking.

message 6181: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (ace-geek) Yes, it's why I never buy recipe books even though I like cooking. They take up space and have a fraction of what I can find online.

TPBM's favorite season is autumn.

message 6182: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Yes, when I am in it.

TPBM likes the smell of fall leaves.

message 6183: by Connie (last edited Aug 25, 2015 11:29AM) (new)

Connie D. | 656 comments Yes. Dried leaves should be a perfume scent!

TPBM is actually running out of zuchini to try all of the recipes they found on the internet. (P.S. Baked Parmesan Zuchini Sticks are awesome}. Appetite Found!

message 6184: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Well we don't have any zucchini at the moment, but we don't cook with it either.

When the power goes out, TPBM likes to make shadow puppets with flashlights.

message 6185: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (ace-geek) I haven't made shadow puppets since I was a little kid.

TPBM dislikes their own name or knows someone who does.

message 6186: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I love my first name. Everyone automatically assumes I'm an expert in what I do because my first name is Garrison. Granted, that name comes with South Park jokes (because of the school teacher Mr. Garrison), but they haven't happened since high school, so I'm fine.

TPBM has at least one character in his or her stories named Dexter.

message 6187: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Nope.

TPBM's summer is basically finished.

message 6188: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments No, not really. It's still dry and hot all the time. In fact, Eastern Washington had a lightning storm that caused a wildfire, so now Western Washington is inhaling their smoke. Ugh.

Even though it’s months too early, TPBM keeps a list of what to get his or her loved ones for Christmas.

message 6189: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I do not.

TPBM has a fridge full of delicious food after a visit to their local farmers' market.

message 6190: by Nadia (new)

Nadia | 690 comments I wish.

TPBM Loves kale. Not only for its health, but just likes it.

message 6191: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (ace-geek) I've never had it but it doesn't seem like something you'd eat for the taste.

TPBM wishes they had the voice of their favorite singer.

message 6192: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments [Kale has a fantastic taste!]

No. I am content with what I have.

TPBM is amazed at some of the child prodigy singers that have been showcased on talent shows.

message 6193: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments No one can doubt their talents as singers and musicians. I'm more concerned about whether or not they're ready for the limelight at that young of an age. Some child stars become severely screwed up by their stardom by the time they become adults and it's sad to think about.

TPBM enjoys listening to videogame music from the 1980’s and 1990’s.

message 6194: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments Only game I think I played from that time frame is... I think it's Packman. And I don't think anyone would wanna sit down and listen to the background music in it.

TPBM has a headache.

message 6195: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments No, I am headache free at the is time.

TPBM is could eat right now.

TPBM lives in a different country than they were born in.

message 6198: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Nope, but for some here living on the west coast of Canada is considered to be a different country.

TPBM would like to write something this week that involves an incident in their childhood.

message 6199: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I'm happy to say that childhood rape was not part of my past, but it is a topic I'm going to delve into during this week's story contest. I don't know if it's going to be uncomfortable or scary, depending on the reader.

TPBM thinks the definition of slander is too broad to be suing people over.

message 6200: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments Not really, as broad is a relative term and by being relative allows for room for lawyers and their clients and victims to expensively hash and re-hash semantics in a useless but enriching (especially to the lawyers) way.

TPBM's stomach is beginning to grumble for food.
