TPBM
A few hours ago I had a bag of bacon and cheese-flavored potato chips. Does that count?TPBM once wrote a story while mentally distracted and it cost him or her.
Hmmm... I don't know if it's ever cost me. It usually just results in poor writing.TPBM thinks the cello is the most soothing instrument of the string family.
I'd have to agree with that, Angie. If someone made a new age song using a cello, then I'd probably fall asleep to it at night. Mmmmmmmmm, gentle music.....TPBM actually likes the taste of mayonnaise.
Most petty arguments are stupid. I like both Pepsi and Coke, so I'm remaining neutral on that one.TPBM has annoyed at least one person by excessively using Axe hygiene products.
I have not and that makes me a happy man - like creature. Sort of.TPBM wasn't really a big fan of the cello until they were introduced to Zoe Keating
She's very talented, that's for sure. :)TPBM has multiple ideas for a novel, but doesn’t know what to do with them.
I could probably develop my story ideas pretty well if I just had the time. Most of them just remain synopses and outlines with character charts on my computer. TPBM has a height chart, either physically or digitally so they know how tall their characters are in relation to each other.
Unless my characters are giants or gnomes, I don't really care how tall they are. It just never occured to me.Even though it’s an oxymoron in fantasy texts, TPBM would read a novel where a pixie barbarian was the lead character.
I might give it a try, but would only finish it if the writing were superb.TPBM Doesn't mind leaving books unfinished, living under the philosophy that life is too short to waste time on something less then enjoyable.
I'd like to think so. It's nice to know who I creep out in public with my socially awkward behavior. Hehe! When reading a professionally published book, TPBM is forgiving when it comes to infrequent minor grammar mistakes.
Yes, I'd like to think so. Infrequent mistakes don't affect my perception of the book, but I'm OCD so I always take a pencil and fix them. (It makes reread fun though, because I like to see if I can find the typos again. I think of it as a sort of Easter egg hunt)TPBM thinks chop sticks are great for eating chips/snacky items while reading a book.
I couldn't work my way around chopsticks to save my life. Whenever I go to a Chinese restaurant, I always make sure there's a fork on the table.TPBM has dreams at night about playing a guitar and then wakes up in the morning to know he or she can’t.
I've never dreamed about playing guitar, but sometimes I dream I had chosen to learn the cello instead of the violin.TPBM thinks saying goodbye to people who have influenced you is one of the hardest farewells.
That was certainly the case when my best friend Susan and her daughter Reina moved out of my house. But you learn to move on after a while and life will only get better.TPBM would like to try cosplaying someday.
Definitely! I would probably like to go as Captain Jack Harkness or as a Weeping Angel. But that would require both time and resources.TPBM knows how to sew.
I tried sewing in Home Ec class in middle school and I hated it. It takes ten minutes just to stick a piece of thread through the eye of the needle. Ugh!TPBM is spending Halloween in New Orleans.
As long as I don't accidentally jab myself with the carving knife, yes, I'll enjoy carving pumpkins. Hehe!TPBM once had blood on his or her hands, but couldn’t figure out where the real wound on his or her body came from.
I've never tried to make chocolate before, so I wouldn't know. I get all of my chocolate from Umpqua's Brownie Thunder ice cream. Mmm-mmm-mmm!TPBM looks good in a Hawaiian shirt and a fedora.
Haha, I actually saw a straw fedora while in NJ but no I wouldn't be gutsy enough to wear either.TPBM loves to travel to places by train or trolley if they don't have a way to go by car.
I used to travel by train to and from Western Washington University in Bellingham. I appreciated the fact that they had a food court. That's a huge upgrade from what I got riding the Greyhound Buses: nothing.TPBM has seen a real life “milk maid” in a supermarket or convenience store (as in someone who searches every milk jug looking for the latest expiration date).
Maybe my wrists more than my back.TPBM loves it when a song layers multiple melodies over each other. (i.e. the middle/latter section "The Point of No Return" in the Phantom of the Opera)
I didn't know that it was called layering, but I do love that song. I love the whole musical. :)When TPBM is in another country, they like to visit places that are not so touristy (is that a word???). Somewhere that locals usually frequent.
I imagine I would if I traveled to foreign countries. TPBM has never been outside of their country of birth.
I have traveled quite a lot, for both business and leisure, but I've never traveled outside Asia.TPBM has a bucket list of "places to visit" and "things to do" they want to finish before a certain age.
(Ruthie, it's not actually called 'layering'. the technical term is polyphony, but I didn't want to be obscure)Nope, my birthday is in December. But if it's yours, happy birthday Nadia!
TPBM loves to watch when their blood gets drawn.
Never. I think blood is cool.TPBM finds it difficult to leave urine samples at the doctor's office without leaving a mess.
I've never really taken notice before. TPBM always forgets something when they go to DMV or courthouse for paperwork.
I don't have a car, so I've never had to go to the DMV before. In many ways, having a car is overrated.TPBM knows that as an author, any review is helpful whether it’s positive or negative.
I'm not an author, I just write for fun. But I do agree.TPBM has a mental checklist they always go through before leaving the house(wallet, keys, phone, etc).
Nope. I've tried to steer away from the vampire/werewolf of the late 2000s. TPBM hates it when they stub their toe on a piece of furniture.
No, it gives me a justifiable excuse to swear and laugh at my inattentiveness. TPBM struggles with autocorrect because his/her vocabulary confuses it.
I don't have a smart phone nor do I text on my generic phone. All of my internet writing is done on my desktop computer, so I've never had that problem before.TPBM believes that being a good creative writer requires wisdom.
I think everything confuses autocorrect. My phone always tries to change "book" to "boom". Just today, it changed "blood test" to "bloody thirsty", which obviously didn't go very well.TPBM researches the names of fictional places in books to try to glean extra meaning from them.
I used to, but it was too frustrating seeing all that delicious food and not being able to eat it!TPBM sometimes has the urge to REALLY cook something, but then decides it's not worth the effort.
Angie wrote: "I used to, but it was too frustrating seeing all that delicious food and not being able to eat it!"Hehe. My brother has a saying. "Never watch cooking shows hungry."
Sometimes I feel that way but lately I LOVE to cook for the experience of it. If I mess up I learn and that's all a part of it!
TPBM always craves coffee when they read about it in a book/ watch people drink it on t.v.
