message 5651: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (ace-geek) It's interesting.

TPBM does stuff on a dare, knowing from the start it's probably a bad idea.

message 5652: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I don't take dares no matter what the risk/reward factor is.

TPBM doesn’t consider celebrity happenings to be newsworthy.

message 5653: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I rarely ever even know any celebrity names.

TPBM thinks crushed cookies and frosting is a legitimate way to make a cake.

message 5654: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments Absolutely! I'd definitely eat something like that. :)

TPBM believes that growing old is about mind over matter (if you don’t mind, it doesn’t matter).

message 5655: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Absolutely. I don't see why we should care so much over something we cannot control.

TPBM never forgets anything - they're just on the process of remembering ;)

message 5656: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments Absolutely. With the right trigger, any memory can be brought up from its remains underneath.

TPBM lives near a convenience store.

message 5657: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Ummm, there's a Safeway about half a mile away from my house. Does that count?

TPBM is starting their story for this week's contest.

message 5658: by Garrison (last edited Jul 13, 2015 06:11PM) (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I already wrote it. It's a nice zombie story called "Lord of the Crack House" and so far it has received critical acclaim from our own Edward Davies. :)

TPBM is hungry for bacon and cheddar potato chips.

message 5659: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments No, but I'm craving potato skins.

TPBM thinks fish tastes better with the head attached.

message 5660: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I've never eaten fish like that, so I wouldn't know.

TPBM has lost weight by abstaining from fast food.

message 5661: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I haven't eaten at a fast food place in a while, so I don't know if I've lost any weight from it.

TPBM thinks baby name websites are wonderful resources when looking for meaningful character names.

message 5662: by Garrison (last edited Jul 13, 2015 07:21PM) (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I like to go name harvesting on Wikipedia instead. I mix and match first and last names from actors' filmographies, MMA fighters' professional records, and sticking to first names I really like such as Marcus, Mario, and Mitch (three M's).

TPBM is shocked by the recent pedophilia accusations against Subway spokesman Jared Fogle.

message 5663: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (ace-geek) It surprised me and my family.

TPBM checks b-day and x-mas cards they get in the mail for money before even really looking at the card itself.

message 5664: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments Either money or a gift card, but I do make it a point to read what's on the card. Otherwise, that would be in bad taste.

TPBM can relate to the movie "The Way Way Back".

message 5665: by Ruthie (new)

Ruthie (bluephoenix20) | 129 comments I haven't seen that movie, so I wouldn't know. I'll probably google it later.

TPBM is so much into technology, that he/she is totally affected by the "Google Effect".

message 5666: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I just looked up that phrase, and I'd have to agree. I also have a tendency to double-check even the simplest facts on Google just to make sure.

TPBM is going to try out a different genre than their usual for this week's story.

message 5667: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I don't always write zombie stories, so that's a change. :)

Whenever TPBM completes a creative project, he or she takes a celebratory power nap.

message 5668: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4489 comments Hmm, sounds like a good idea.

TPBM likes to think of their favorite vacation spot during the summer!

message 5669: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments That vacation spot would either be the coolness of Canada or the warmth of Hawaii. I haven't decided yet.

TPBM knows that wealth is not about how much you make, but how much you save.

message 5670: by Ruthie (last edited Jul 13, 2015 08:53PM) (new)

Ruthie (bluephoenix20) | 129 comments Actually, I think of wealth not in monetary value, but the things a person learns in his/her life. So, even if one doesn't have much money, but is still happy with his/her life experiences, he/she is wealthy enough.

TPBM likes to learn about other religions especially Islam.

message 5671: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I'm not big on religion no matter what it is, so probably not.

TPBM prefers unsweetened iced tea over sugary iced tea.

message 5672: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4489 comments I love both though I DO like sweet tea a little less knowing it's not so good for my diet. Homemade iced tea is awesome too!

TPBM finds it is kind of fun to make homemade lemonade.

message 5673: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments My lemonade comes from packets of Crystal Light and they are gooooo-ood!! :)

TPBM can run up a flight of stairs without being winded afterwards.

message 5674: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Yes, I can. My dad has also started triathlon training and I'm thinking of joining him.

TPBM has competed in a triathlon before.

message 5675: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments Not a chance. My athletic prowess is limited to water walking and stair running.

TPBM would like to try kickboxing someday.

message 5676: by Ruthie (new)

Ruthie (bluephoenix20) | 129 comments I would like to learn, but with my bone problems, I doubt I could. I love yoga. :)

TPBM has exercise as part of their daily health regime.

message 5677: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments Water-walking at the YMCA qualifies since it's walking against resistance, so yes, I do.

TPBM agrees with the mantra, "Think globally, act locally."

message 5678: by Jenn (new)

Jenn (ace-geek) Sure.

TPBM has woken up only to realize they fell asleep reading during the day.

message 5679: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I have on a few occasions.

TPBM finds they can't take naps in the afternoon on command.

message 5680: by Connie (new)

Connie D. | 656 comments Yes. But Benadryl is a game changer. I missed lunch!

TPBM just turned on the air conditioner for the first time this year!

message 5681: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Oh I wish! It's been in the 100s since May here in Phoenix!

TPBM is bored at work right now.

message 5682: by Guy (new)

Guy (egajd) | 11249 comments I am at work, but not really bored, despite the current drawing being mostly routine.

TPBM would like a job that incorporates both writing and drawing elements.

message 5683: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments That would be awesome! I'd actually be happy to go to work every day if that was the case!

TPBM is excited for the eventual release of Disturbed’s latest album "Immortalized".

message 5684: by Nadia (new)

Nadia | 690 comments I can't say that I'm excited, because I really didn't know that it was to be released.

TPBM Gets a warm, fuzzy feeling when someone comments/likes something that they wrote.

message 5685: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Always :) This group is great for that.

TPBM is always grateful when they see an ambulance without flashing lights because it means no one needs to be rushed to the hospital.

message 5686: by Garrison (last edited Jul 15, 2015 12:14PM) (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments It makes me wonder why it's on the road in the first place, though.

TPBM thinks Zeon Kadar is a good name for a demonic character.

message 5687: by Ruthie (new)

Ruthie (bluephoenix20) | 129 comments I guess so. It sort of reminds me of demonic characters from the CHARMED TV series.

TPBM's work schedule is not affected by national holidays (just like mine.. hahahaha!).

message 5688: by Lee (new)

Lee (lee-lette) | 1840 comments I'm a student not a worker...unfortunately.

TPBM has a headache.

message 5689: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments Not at the moment, no.

TPBM would read a fantasy book where a half-orc fighter was the main protagonist.

message 5690: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments Yes, but only as long as the author didn't still try to make the half orc protagonist gorgeous.

TPBM hates it when everyone in a book looks like a model.

message 5691: by Ruthie (new)

Ruthie (bluephoenix20) | 129 comments I don't mind if everyone in the book looks perfect (everything looks good in my imagination). I just hate it when characters developments are too black and white. I like to relate to the people in my book, and being either too good or too evil is not realistic.

When TPBM is writing a story, they get a little sidetracked thinking of each characters' background (even though it won't all go into the story).

message 5692: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4489 comments Yep. I do that a lot. In fact, I might be sidetracking myself with the current project now!

TPBM knows it's good to character sketch or come up with a side technique that will help them configure the character progression for a story.

message 5693: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments For the characters I've logged into Garrison's Library, yes, I do sketches of them before randomly selecting them for short stories and novels. It has worked to perfection so far.

TPBM would read a book about annoying debt collectors.

message 5694: by C. J., Cool yet firm like ice (new)

C. J. Scurria (goodreadscomcj_scurria) | 4489 comments I don't know, that sounds too much like a horror book to me, lol! Still I wish I could go to college even if student loan people would probably come after me.

TPBM would love to go to college.

message 5695: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I've already been to college. Between the forced extroversion and lonely experience, I wouldn't want to go back.

TPBM has at least one character in his or her stories named Marcus.

message 5696: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments I believe I had a character named Marcus in one of the stories I entered for this group, but I don't remember what story or what I made him.

TPBM is afraid of heights.

message 5697: by Ruthie (new)

Ruthie (bluephoenix20) | 129 comments I'm not afraid of heights, but I am afraid of falling.

TPBM likes to defy the rules of school/work and life.

message 5698: by Angie (new)

Angie Pangan | 4795 comments No. I'm too much of a perfectionist for that unfortunately.

TPBM likes putting m&ms in their ice cream

message 5699: by Garrison (new)

Garrison Kelly (cybador) | 10185 comments I haven't tried that yet, but if I do, I'd want it to be peanut butter M&M's in peanut butter and chocolate ice cream. That's a lot of peanut butter!

TPBM thinks Seamus Dawkins is a good name for a dark paladin.

message 5700: by Nadia (new)

Nadia | 690 comments I think that it doesn't have the right feel, considering the paladins were a part of Charlemagne's court originally. I'd lean more towards Gustave Mareem or something like that.

TPBM is a bit of a history enthusiast.
