Wow, you're kidding right. You hate Harry Potter? The word hate is very broad, what is it specifically you hate. The author, the subject matter, what? Could you find the creativity within yourself that the author of the Harry Potter series gave us, the magic, her characters, the language, the ability to get lost in her world?
If you feel that strongly, you should definitely stay away from such books like "Lord of the Rings" or "Alice in Wonderland" but definitely "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe."

Yes, dislike not HATE. Hate is a strong word. It can cause lots of problems.

Aw, I'm sure you're not the only one. Everybody likes different things, and what someone might love, another might hate!! What is entertainment to one person, is an absolute annoyance to the next!! So while some love Harry Potter and can't get enough (I am included in that sub catagory) there are others that undoubtedly can't stand the stuff.BUT, I'm such a fan, I have to at least try & defend my beloved Harry & Hogwarts by saying that if you hate it so very much, maybe you haven't given it enough of a chance!? There is some brilliance in those books, despite the fact that it's for children and potentially "annoying" to some.
