"Hello, my name is ..." *~ Introductions

I'd have to say book four is my favorite. Although, they all rank pretty up there!

The 1st book I read after having them was Iced. I finished it in a week. I know my priorities.
Books > sleep. :D
Loved Iced, btw. Big Dani fan.

I'm Krystle, 27 and live in Loveland, OH.
I discovered the books a while back from a friend of mine. She demanded that I buy them because she knew I'd just fall in love with them... Well I hunted the series down, but I had so many other books in line before these I put them off for a bit... Over the summer tho I started and I could NOT put them down....... Let me just say one word... Barrons.... lol this series is just so unique and unlike any other that I've read thus far ... I'm in love.
Since then I've told another friend of mine about them, she bought them all and read them recently, and she's smitten just like I am lol. We'll both send random texts thru the week that just says "Barrons" lol ..
My favorite book , eh hard to say probably Dreamfever and then Shadowfever. Iced was awesome because we're learning about the mysteriously handsome Ryodan and Christian..

I'm with you on , " Is it time for Burned to be released now?" ... I can't wait !!!!!!! And Yay Sky , glad you joined up here as well :) I think all of us in this group has probably placed KMM's books right up front on display for all to see hehe.

Hi everybody. Welcome to the group. This is a space where we will get to know each other.
Let us know:
-your name, age and country
-How you discovered the series
-which was your favorite book
-..."
Hello everyone!
1. My name is Kim. I'm 28 and I'm from Brampton, Ontario - a suburb outside Toronto.
2. I discovered the series through Goodreads! I noticed that this series was on the "favourites" shelves of most of my favourite reviewers here on Goodreads. I gave Darkfever a shot one day and I just found myself going to work zombie-like for the whole week because I couldn't put the books down.
3. My favourite book of the series is probably Dreamfever, although I want to say I love them all equally. The obvious reason for this was the fact that Jericho and Mac finally got together, sort of. It was just a relief to finally get some action, after all that sexual tension from books 1-3. Smuttiness aside though, I just loved how this book made me feel. I could feel Mac's hurt and feelings of betrayal towards Jericho when he wasn't there to rescue her when she needed him. I had a glimpse of Jericho's feelings towards Mac. I loved how Mac emerged as a more kick-ass heroine. However, I read this book when I had Shadowfever readily available to read next. Had I read this and Shadowfever was still not published, it might not have been my favourite due to the cliffhanger at the end.
4. Why do I love the series so much? Jericho Barrons. Is that reason enough? Hehe! Kidding aside, I thoroughly enjoyed this series because it was action-packed, had the right amount of romance and smut, and it kept me on the edge of my seat book after book. It was just a constant build-up of excitement for me! There was never a boring part in any of the books. Plus, I found Mac so easy to like. She's girly and kick-ass, fearless but not without nerves. She's extremely loyal and "good" through and through. Lastly, there's an abundance of hot guys throughout the series. Jericho Barrons is the absolute pinnacle of alpha-male-hero-perfection. I don't think anyone can EVER top him, for me at least.

Glad that you caught the Fever Kim and Tammy! So glad you are enjoying the series :) !

I discovered the series when I read paperback novels that you find in a grocery store on an unwitting lunchbreak. I had NO idea how much these novels would take a place in my heart. ;)
My favorite book so far, is without a doubt, 'Iced'. If I were to say I liked one in particular on the Mac/Barrons duo, it would be 'Darkfever'. I'm not so hot on that series anymore -- I can't even bring myself to re-read any Mac/Barrons literature, as I'm so invested in Dani right now! Lol! Damnit!
This series made me think. I was actually growing with the characters. (No duh, because I happen to be at an impressionable age.. Luckily I got impressed on by a master author!)
Also, anything and everything which depicts fae to be evil is my cup of tea. I'm on a kick, which has lasted a couple years... There you have it.
Hoping to keep in touch ;)

My husband brought me a Nook for Mother Days, due to taking up every non-vacant spot we had to house books. I my first down load was the Highlander Series that came before the Fever Series and I really enjoyed them. I read reviews about the fever series and like the writing of Morning that I kept go back to the reviews. The First book I kept in my wish list for a while and decided to download it due to nothing spiking my interest at the time. I read the first one and never turned back. Thank God at the time I was on vacation and read all the books leading Shadow Fever that hadn't release yet. I was so glad I only had to wait 4 months vs a year. I would have died if I had to wait so long! I so loved this series, had all my friends read it as well.
My fav has to be FaeFever going into DreamFever. You really see Barron’s and Max’s relationship take a huge turn. Finally!
I love the series for so many reasons. Barron’s and Max relationship develops in a slow yet intense pace. They didn't fall into bed from the beginning or at least from what she remembers (if you ever read JZB POV on Morning’s Face book page, you know what I mean)
I loved the suspense and the emotion that each characters develops through. You hate and love all the players in this series.
You see Max grow up right before your eyes and you see Barron’s learn to trust.
The writing was wonderful and kept you so involved. I didn't want it to end and was heart broken when it did.

Love me some JZB!!!!

My favorite book would have to be Shadowfever because Mac finally gets her petunia in gear with her feelings for Barrons. It was driving me bugf••k that she kept denying it. Of course Barrons *sigh* admits in his own way how he feels. Makes me melt!!!!

- I discovered the Fever series from one of my co-workers
- I truly enjoyed all the books, but Shadowfever is my absolute favorite of the series
- I loved everything about the series, the characters were well developed, the story line was absolutely captivating and kept me wanting to learn more. I literally could not put any of the books down.

I discovered the Fever series earlier this month, I have been stuck with books for over a year, just haven't been able to get into the ones i have tried. I love anything supernatural - but it has to be different. I am not interested in high school, YA etc. And I want the series to be original. Well, when I found FEVER, I couldnt stop reading.
I literally became addicted to it, and devoured all the books in 14 days. They were SO good. So, I thought id join good reads to get some new recommendations, and thought id join this group!
I'm Sarah Jane, I'm 25 and im from Essex. I love the series because the characters are multi layred, and the line between good and bad isn't clean cut.
My favourite book I think was Bloodfever. Just because at that point I knew I was obsessed with the series but it was still very new. I liked seeing Barrons crumble when he thought Mac was dying, and I found it hilarious when she stands up to him alot more.

Read her highlander books. I really like Richelle Mead. She has several great series. Vampire Academy (which reads more like adult novels) and Succubus Blues. Great series.

Just thought of two more that are really good. Rachel Vincent's Shifters series and Keri Arthur Riley Jensen series.

My name is Laura! My friends call me Loo. (I realize everyone in the UK finds this funny) I am from Canada :)
A friend of mine recommended the Fever series as I loved the Southern Vampire Mysteries by Charlaine Harris. I was a huge fan and I was a devout member of Team Eric. My friend said she could cure me of this but I swore up and down I would never switch teams but.....I sure changed my time once I finished the Fever series! Holy Barrons! Yowza. Haha.
My favorite books by Moning thus far are Dreamfever and Shadowfever.....I think you can easily guess why! I did also love Beyond the Highland Mist though. I never thought I was a real romantic type girl. My favorite book in the world is Exorcist and there isn't anything sexy about that! Ha. But here I am.
I think the Moning books are great because I can finish then quickly and enjoy them easily. I love how she really makes you feel impatient! I can't put the damn books down once I pick them up because I need to get to the end so desperately, and it's always satisfying! I love how she can make you hate a character but grow to love them. It's a brave thing to do, knowingly make an obnoxious character like Mac Lane. I did grow to like her though, like I said - satisfying!
I look forward to finishing the Highlander series and the (hopefully) many more books to come!
Hope to meet some great Maniacs :)
Loo.

Happy reading everyone!

I'm 25 (for the last 9 years) feel free to do the math--haha! I LOVE the "Fever" series and I've read then twice...however, I have t read Iced yet because KMM cliffhanger endings drive me mad! Until Burned is closer to it's release date I won't touch Iced. There is NO character that can touch JZB and the nine--IMO--My favorite series was The Night Huntress series by Jeaniene Frost with Cat and Bones, and I thought no one could touch them as a couple until I was introduced to these books. KMM is FANtastic!

I live in Southern Cali, Orange County.
I found the series through my book club and my favorite book of the series is Dreamfever!
"Don't leave me." I thrash in the sheets.
"I'm not, Mac."
I know I am dreaming then, because dreams are home to the absurd and what he says next is beyond absurd.
"You're leaving me, Rainbow Girl."
Absolutely Brilliant!

I'm 26 and from Oakland, California but I'm currently in the process of moving back to Virginia to finish my schooling.
I actually discovered the Highlander series first and by accident in the library. I was looking for a particular book and Drustans sorta looked like it with the timepiece on the front. Since I'm not a fan of the highlander sub genre, if I had known what it was that I picked off the shelf, I would have put it back. And in reading it, I immediately fell in love with the way Moning wrote her characters. So I was already a fan when she posted she was writing a new series and that it wouldnt be the same cookie cutter romance. And she didnt disappoint with her Fever series. I love it, ok I'm a bit obsessed. :-)

My name is Manna. I am 21 and hail from London, England.
I discovered the Fever Series when looking for a series to occupy my time whilst waiting for the next Black Dagger Brotherhood book but it had to have some hot alpha males too. That's when I stumbled upon Fever Series and Mr Jericho Barrons.
If I had to pick a favourite book it would probably be Dreamfever because, like Angelique said, we saw more emotions from Barrons and Mac and him finally got together even if the circumstances weren't ideal.
I don't know how to explain why I like the books so much but one thing I do know is that Barrons, Ryodan and the small glimpses I've caught of the other 9 seem to possess a different level of "alpha". I don't know what it is but when reading the books they seemed almost untouchable, like they were the masters and I never thought any males in the genre would come close to the brothers but I guess I was proven wrong.
Ok, enough of the rambling. ;)
Hello! My name is Celena and I LOVE this series!

-your name, age and country - Jane, 48, USA
-How you discovered the series - addicted to the Highlanders but interested in the Fever books. Not read them yet but going to give them a try.
-which was your favorite book
Kiss of the Highlander but love all the Highlander books.
-And why you loved the series so much - strong alpha males and women with character and smarts. A good combination and the fantasy element!

-How you discovered the series - Browsing around goodreads for the new book to read (and I consider that day one of my luckiest)
-which was your favorite book (all of fever series through and through)
-And why you loved the series so much. (sigh!! ..who knows why someone loves something... I just know I do. Although I don't think I can explain my feelings for this book in so many words starting from how well written it is and its depth, the world of Dublin temple bar district and fays, JBZ-Mac etc. It is safe to say that this book series has ruined all the other books for me :(

My favorite books were Dreamfever and Shadowfever. I absolutely loved everything about the series. The characters (Mac & Barrons became one of my fave fictional couple and characters), world building, mystery, the anticipation, and unpredictability of the story. Iwas wrong in almost every theory I had while reading.
So glad found this group :)

Thanks Sharmila :)

Honestly, I came into the Fever series by chance because all of my GR friends just loved it. When I read the first book, I gave it a low rating. *gasp* I really didn't like it. So someone told me to try it again and I did but in the audio form. OMG!!! I was so caught up in everything that I remember sitting in the parking lot at work trying to get just a little bit more in. LOL. I don't have a favorite per say but I really loved Shadowfever.
I'm just glad to be able to be crazy with all of you :)

Sharmilla told me about this group and I couldn't resist to join other fellow fever fans!
I just stumbled upon this series about a year ago. I had just read the Trylle series and was on a fae kick and this series sounded interesting and I am so So happy I found them.
I think my favorite is Dreamfever. Although I loved every single one of them!
Monning makes it so easy to fall into her world. It's so creative and captivating. Jericho Barnes is pretty hot and tempting too ;-)
Lovely to meet you all and looking forward to discussions and making new fever friends!

I found this on Goodreads and decided to give it a try and it has become one of my all time FAV series!
Dreamfever because I really liked the side of Barrons we saw when Mac was Pri-ya. I think that was the first time you could see there was a "Mac" soft spot in him.
There's no other series out there like this and I LOVE LOVE (Dani, Mac, Ryoden, Barrons, Dancer) the characters Karen's given us. Just when you think you have a character or storyline figured out it turns a 180 and goes a different way!

My name is April and I'm living in Florida. I started reading KMM with the Highlander series and I love Drustan and Dageus MacKeltar. Eventually I found my way to the Fever series where I, like everyone else, fell hard for Jericho Barrons. I'm about to start rereading Dreamfever just to get back into that world.
Looking forward to talking to other fans about these amazing books.
