Yes. I don't know why the covers keep changing when you reply on here! It is weird.

Kourtni (kourkyloo) | 732 comments Speaking of Defiance (Significance, #3) by Shelly Crane ...The characters are really starting to get on my nerves :/ I don't know if I can finish it.

message 2703: by [deleted user] (new)

Kourtni - They definitely had their moments when I wanted to strangle them. I liked it but you might not. I think you need to read Hollowland (The Hollows, #1) by Amanda Hocking but will know for sure after I finish it. I don't like reading gross things and this has been pretty tame, except when they fight the zombies but it's not too gross.

message 2704: by Emma (new)

Emma (emnor) I'm reading like four books at once... Delirium (Delirium, #1) by Lauren Oliver , A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1) by George R.R. Martin , and Anna Dressed in Blood (Anna, #1) by Kendare Blake . Wait, that's only three....

I listened to it on audio and it is quite epic. It took me like 8 CD's before I knew who the heck was who! I gave it 4 stars, which for me is pretty pretty good.

Well let me know what you think and I might give it a go Shannen!

True - I could have read it faster if I wasn't busy with school. :-) I accidentally read a spoiler from one of my GR friends' review, saying who "-A" was -_- but hopefully there will be other surprises to discover as the series goes on.

Mainly reading The Lightkeeper's Daughter (Mercy Falls, #1) by Colleen Coble but I will start on Flawless (Pretty Little Liars, #2) by Sara Shepard soon!

I pronounce it sigh. In Unwindthere is a character named Cy, it's a rare name and a good book.
As for reading more after COG (TMI or ID)thats a must if you're a fan. :)

GOT is a time sucker. It is hard for me to start book two because it will take me 3 weeks to listen to the whole audiobook and I just can't get myself to do it yet.

message 2713: by Mackenzie (new)

Mackenzie | 55 comments The Last Princess by Galaxy Craze : DNF - well, at least for now. I might pick it up eventually. this book has so much potential but its definitely fallen flat. I'm not really feeling the emotions its should evoke and the romance is ridiculous. Just not feeling it.

Divergent by Veronica Roth : re-reading this in time for the sequel. LOVE!

Shadows on the Moon by Zoë Marriott : I'm actually really liking it! Its sad and haunting, but interesting.

Yeah I just finished it and I rated it 3 stars..It wasn't as good as I had hoped, but hopefully the series gets better with the second one *fingers crossed*

I really enjoyed the Hollowland Series by Amanda Hocking..I thought it had a nice story line to it :D and it made want to read more post-apocalyptic type books

I liked A Great & Terrible Beauty but I was hoping it would be better than what I read. Hopefully the next book is more interesting. :-)

I still haven't read I am Number Four - I got sidetracked with other books. XD

I am hoping to hear from someone who did not love book one and still read Insurgent. If book two is better than book one was to them I may consider reading it.

That is why I want someone who didn't love it to give me an update. I think Peep is going to read it so I will see what she thinks (if she ever shows back up around here!)

Kourtni (kourkyloo) | 732 comments I must share that I gave Defiance (Significance, #3) by Shelly Crane two stars. I feel awful about it because I rarely give a book less than 3 stars, but I just didn't like it. The first one was good but I'm thinking it should have stopped there. But of course there is yet another one coming out.

I am happy to hear that, I can‘t wait to get to it. It’s near the top of my TBR list, along with many of the recent new releases vying for my attention.

Hope you like it Teralee. I read it and it was just OK for me. I am interested to see where the plot goes and just started the next one, The Haunted (The Hollow, #2) by Jessica Verday . So far I am liking it better. I just checked out the ratings on GR and it seems like the 2nd book got way better ratings.

Did you like the audio of Hugo? I read the book and so much of it is pictures I can't imagine that it would convey the whole story in an audio book.

Yes! You should give it a go Heidi. I finished it last night and it was pretty awesome. It blew some of the other stuff I've been reading lately out of the water.

It looks like I should try out Cinder! I'm a little hesitant just from reading the synopsis. I don't know if it would be something I could get into.
