She already wrote it, a nice long one with GIFs included. XD I'm looking forward to reading her review! I want to finish the book first, though.

I bought The False Prince a couple of months ago and it's been sitting in my TBR pile. Maybe I'll move it up.

Thanks for your input - I've been wanting to read that book but keep putting it off. Hopefully I can read it this summer.

Karen’s Library | 574 comments Just picked up the newest Pern book Sky Dragons (Pern, #24) by Anne McCaffrey So excited! This is the last book Anne MacCaffrey did (in collaberation with her son, Todd) before her recent death. The Acknowledgement Todd McCaffrey did at the beginning of the book about his mum's passing had me teary eyed at the book store. I read the first 9 pages in the Starbucks there and can't wait to delve in later today!!

This weekend I finished:

Paper Towns by John Green Graffiti Moon by Cath Crowley

Side note: Heidi, have you read Graffiti Moon? Because it seemed like something you would like, to me. :) Kinda Melina Marchetta-esque.

Now I'm reading:

Rot & Ruin (Benny Imura, #1) by Jonathan Maberry

I haven't read a lot of zombie books, but this is one of my favorites that I've read so far. :)

Kourtni (kourkyloo) | 732 comments Just finished The Iron Daughter (The Iron Fey, #2) by Julie Kagawa . It was good and the protag is getting a little better!

Bluemoon I don't think she will be as awesome as Mac gets. I loved Mac by the end of that series!! A lot of things about Meghan still bother me.

message 2941: by [deleted user] (new)

Bluemoon - Meghan gets better and more fierce but she is no Mac. I absolutely, positively LOVE Mac. She is one of my favorite characters of all time! Maybe it's time for a Fever re-read.

Gotta go check out the books Mackenzie and Brigid mentioned. I think they are on my TBR list.

message 2948: by [deleted user] (new)

I am currently reading Touch (Denazen, #1) by Jus Accardo and started a re-read of Darkfever (Fever, #1) by Karen Marie Moning . Just picked up The Treasure Map of Boys Noel, Jackson, Finn, Hutch, Gideon—and me, Ruby Oliver (Ruby Oliver, #3) by E. Lockhart and will start that this weekend.

Juggling three books is going to make me scream so I'm pretty sure that Touch will fall by the way-side.

Mackenzie | 55 comments BLUEMOON: I actually ended up loving it! The world was believable and I loved all the political aspects of it. It's one of those books that really makes you think and consider different reactions to different actions. While Ember annoyed me at certain points, I ultimately end up loving her and her growth. I also really liked the fact that, unlike most dystopians, she's not part of the rebellion. The story is ultimately her trying to find her mother and learning how corrupt the FBR really is. And Chase is fantastic. He's your tortured soldier, but he's so much more than that. I really ended up falling for him :P I don't really know what your tastes are but I hope you end up liking it!
