I do not think you really are anything near a motion, KD.

Moron, not motion.

message 605: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Move to strike, your honor.

message 606: by Jammies (new)

Jammies I am such a cheap date--two lemon martinis and I am toasted. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

~Geektastic~ (atroskity) | 3205 comments This is my first check-in to the inebriated post. Not quite there yet, but it won't be long.

message 608: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Go for it Amber!

message 612: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments I've had a Mike's Lemonade and a Coors light with Lime.

That is the girliest drinking I've ever seen you experience, Sallers. And LG, do not disparage Old Style. I miss its dominance.

Jammies and Amber, did you get properly toasted? Did you have fun?

I think we should pick a date and all drunk skype.

message 613: by Jammies (new)

Jammies RA, I was properly toasted when I posted. :) Two drinks WITH food and I was wobbly.

message 614: by ~Geektastic~ (new)

~Geektastic~ (atroskity) | 3205 comments Yes to both: very toasty, had a lot of fun. By the second time I posted, I wasn't quite sure if anything sensible was going to come out.

message 615: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments Oh boy, where the hell is everyone. It's difficvult tohave mmuch of a conversation when nno one is ariund. I'm sure I'll regret thid in the morning thiugh. Just had to let loose at the golf outing, after the crappy week.

Helena | 1056 comments God help me ....this is going to really hurt in the morning. I'm scared, thank Christ for auto correct . 2.5 bottles of wine. Oh.

message 620: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments Thanks Gail, the golfing was great fun, aand the alcohol flowed extremely freely. It appears I just needed to stay on a little longeer and I could have parties internationally last night.

message 621: by Janice (new)

Janice (jamasc) How are you feeling this morning Jim, Helena, and Sally?

message 622: by Helena (new)

Helena | 1056 comments Not too bad, Janice, thanks for asking :) I forced myself to drink oodles of water before I went to bed.

I had a headache but I had two big glasses of CocoHydro and now I'm feeling much improved, thanks! :D Now, more packing.

message 624: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments I feel great today, thanks for asking. I seldom if ever have hangovers, but if I was going to have one today would have been the day, as I broke all the no hangover rules last night.

Lee | 701 comments This is fun to keep up on this thread....since I don't partake any longer. Kinda feel like the designated driver! :)

Ok, DD. Is it time to break into the box-wine aisle bag of rum punch yet?

message 627: by ~Geektastic~ (new)

~Geektastic~ (atroskity) | 3205 comments But why is all the rum gone? Oh yeah...

I bought beer today....very excited....but I'm awaiting for it to chill.

BEEEEERRRRRRRRRRR.

message 637: by Mark (new)

Mark Burns (TheFailedPhilosopher) | 441 comments I wonder why I'm not in this thread more often? Maybe it's because I couldn't be bothered when I'm pissed. (That's not true, I'm always pissed).

What brand? Pray tell.

message 639: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I usually buy mine cold.

message 640: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24778 comments Mod
Great Lakes. The selection of cold is so much smaller, I usually end up getting warm.

I went with Eliot Ness. I was also tempted by the Edmund Fitzgerald, which had a better label, but there's always another shopping trip. Plus the Edmund Fitzgerald is a porter and I wanted something a little lighter after drinking Guinesses for awhile.

Good choice. Too many people consider Eliot Ness untouchable.

message 644: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) And Dortmunder just doesn't sound delicious to me.

It sounds okay to me, but the label is so boring.

message 649: by RandomAnthony (new)

RandomAnthony | 14536 comments I have not been properly drunk in a long time, but I'm headed that direction tonight.
