Bridget (bekeown) | 126 comments Can't wait to hear what you think about that one, Carol! I read her other book, A Duke's Desire and was really pleasantly surprised how much I cared for both the characters, despite the brevity of the story. Hope you enjoy!

Bridget (bekeown) | 126 comments I finished Follow My Lead by Kate Noble and think it might very well be one of my favorite books, regardless of genre. Funny, touching and really quite clever, and I can't recommend it highly enough!

Bringing Ripe for Pleasure by Isobel Carr and It's Always Been You (York Family, #2) by Victoria Dahl with me on a weekend road trip :)

message 113: by Bridget (new)

Bridget (bekeown) | 126 comments It's my annual re-read of Salem's Lot by Stephen King Salem's Lot which is one of my all-time favoritest. Other than that, I just started The King's Courtesan by Judith James , the sequel to Libertine's Kiss, which I loved.

message 114: by Ashia (new)

Ashia (ashia123) | 32 comments Storm Kissed (Final Prophecy, #6) by Jessica Andersen

Being the 6th book in the series, I thought it would get old or the author couldn't surprise me anymore. But this book is great! And the author's got some great twists and turns that had me reeling. Whew! It's one hell of a ride, and I'm not yet through!

Carol Cork *Young at Heart Oldie* (httpsrakesandrascalswordpresscom) Half way through Desired by Nicola Cornick - the best in her Scandalous Women of the Ton so far!

Unapologetic_Bookaholic I have finished Tangled Past, Paradise Found, and Red Roses & Shattered Glass this week. Now I am starting The Devil's Garden today.

Bridget (bekeown) | 126 comments Finished Highlander's Heart by Amanda Forester yesterday...I like Highlander books, though they're not generally on my "Must Read" list. This one, however, was sensational, and actually had me giggling out loud on my way to work. Terrific Read.
Now I'm on Lord of Fire (Knight Miscellany Series #2) by Gaelen Foley , which seems pretty interesting thus far...

message 122: by Bridget (new)

Bridget (bekeown) | 126 comments Just a quick update, that Lord of Fire was perhaps one of my favorite reads this year, and definitely among my favorite romances all-time. Sensational hero. Sensational. I went out and found the rest of the series over the weekend and can't wait to get started!

Bridget, I loved Gaelen Foley's Knight family series. Have you read the first book The Duke (Knight Miscellany, #1) by Gaelen Foley ? This is on my list of all time favourite historical romances.

Bridget (bekeown) | 126 comments "Bridget, I loved Gaelen Foley's Knight family series. Have you read the first book"

I have it now, Carol! I was torn between starting Damien's story next or staring with The Duke, but seeing as how you enjoyed it so much, I think I'll start there :)

Carol Cork *Young at Heart Oldie* (httpsrakesandrascalswordpresscom) Currently reading England's Perfect Hero (Lessons in Love, #3) by Suzanne Enoch - so far really enjoying it.

message 127: by Bridget (new)

Bridget (bekeown) | 126 comments Finishing up When a Duke Says I Do, and I have to say, this is perhaps the most deceptive back cover blurb ever--the book itself is really remarkable!

message 128: by Empi (new)

Bridget, I really loved Trouble at the Wedding! I'm sure you'll enjoy it. For me it's the best book in the Abandoned at the Altar series. A Lady Awakened sounds good and so I've added it my 'considering book shelf'.

message 132: by Bridget (new)

Bridget (bekeown) | 126 comments Hope you enjoy, Carole! I've just started Firelight (Darkest London, #1) by Kristen Callihan , and so far it's a great blend of Gothic, historic and paranormal. Also reading Don't Look Down by Jennifer Crusie for a book group, which isn't bad so far, though not entirely what I would have chosen myself.

message 133: by Bridget (new)

Bridget (bekeown) | 126 comments Just to add, Firelight was phenomenal and I highly recommend :)

message 134: by Amanda (new)

Amanda Shalaby (amandalvshalaby) | 3 comments Currently reading The Heart You Own by Diana Jewkes. So far, so good!

message 135: by Anne (new)

Anne Mikusinsi (abghostwriter) | 1 comments Almost done with Fashion Faux Paw A Dog Walker Mystery by Judi McCoy
It's the last one she wrote before she passed, I think, so it's kind of sad.

message 136: by Bronwyn (new)

Bronwyn Rykiert | 140 comments I have just finished reading The Boy in the Striped Pajamas and I did not find it as sad as I thought it would be, probably because I knew the ending and maybe too because I did not take time to put the story in perspective with the whole story. It was very easy to read.

I have also just finished Fallen and I rather enjoyed that too. Though I did think as I was reading it that this is definitely aimed at the young adult audience.

Currently reading Jack of Diamonds and so far it is very interesting. I am listening to The Reading Group and I am abosolutely loving it - this would have to be one of the most enjoyable books I have read in recent times. The stories of 6 ladies and their husbands/partners/children who come together once a month to meet and talk, initially about the book they have just read as their group read. I just love it and would highly recommend it.
