I love Griffin.
I only care about Griffin.
And I don’t feel like reading a whole other book and a half of Swayze angstily stuttering between Nate and my Griffin.
So I’m stopping right here - aka (view spoiler) - and pretending it’s the end.

Am I missing out? Sure.
Do I care? Nope.

*******Spoilers. Probably. Or maybe not.*******

So she’s not suffering from some form of mental disorder.
He’s not suffering from some form of mental disorder.
She doesn't have a brain tumor.
She isn't clairvoyant.
She’s not Nate and Daisy's daughter.
She hasn't had a heart transplant.
This isn't a paranormal romance.
It's not a time travel romance either.

I have NO idea what is going on.

Jewel E. Ann, you EVIL woman.
Is this… Is this a freaking love triangle?

His shadowy figure ghosts toward me. I will never let this be more than an unspoken thought, but I love looking at Nate—the one in my head, the one in the picture, and the one before me. And it breaks. My. Heart. I love Griffin so completely. He’s everything. What’s left when you have everything? Nothing.

Mind Blown!!! I’ve said it over and over, but Jewel E. Ann is seriously one of the most talented authors out there! Her stories are

To try and begin to say what this book is and what this book did to me, would simply be impossible.

I have adored this authors writing in previous books. So when a new book came available, I was immediately like, sign me up. I was blind to what it was about and I'll admit, reading some reviews before starting this, I was like "ohhhhhh". I knew going into this book, I would be getting a new type of book from her that I

I tried to be Switzerland for this story. I tried really hard not to choose sides, not to assume the worst, not to hate the actions of Swayze-pie, but to trust that the author wasn’t going to break my heart beyond repair. I’m not sure I succeeded. Because Griffin… lawd have mercy… I need this man in my life. I need this man in Swayze’s life.

Griffin was such a suprising young man. As Swayze said, he was more than just his 23 years. He was kind, he was caring, he was not only gorgeous but beautifu

Jewel E. Ann has quickly become a one click, never even bother in reading the blurb, author for me. In this first part of her new duet, within pages she got me out of my book funk and had me engrossed in Nate, Swayze, and Griffin’s story. It’s a story with all sorts of possible outcomes to follow in the next book and one beautiful new born baby!

What an exhilarating ride with an ‘I need to know yesterday’ cliffy.

Thank the stars book two of this duet has released because I won’t be able to have a moments peace until I know how all this ‘stuff’ turns out! Either way, my heart is going to hurt.

Whatever I write here won’t do justice to this duet. The value of it is indescribable. You need to read it and feel it.

The writer takes a very interesting plot -reincarnation - and tells us a very unique story of 3 people. I know many other writers have tried the same topic but none stands out in my mind. For example, I read “All of It by Kim Holden ” and it was a failure in my opinion.

It was my 1st book by this author.
She is very talented, no doubt.
Very unique story, very unique writing.
Despite I didn’t particularly like any of the characters, I couldn’t put this book down.
Extremely captivating.

Many of my trusted friends loved this book / this duo.
I guess I’m an outsider *lol*

Yes, the writing was good, but I also rate and review the story, so…

I finally went back to this after I saw that a third book was released with, I'm assuming, a HEA for the one part of the triangle left.

Besides the extreme, in my opinion, triangle I love everything else about this book. Jewel E. Ann is an exceptional writer. I just really hate triangles but I after knowing who was left in the third book it was easier for me to read it. The plot, what it deals with and how the author wove the story was brilliant.

Overall Opinion: This is a hard one to rate without ruining it. I appreciate the fact that I had kind of skimmed reviews and didn't get nitty-gritty type spoilers, because I think it was better to go in blind. I hope I don't ruin it for anyone, and please (as always) don't click my spoiler tags unless you really want it possibly "spoiled"!

This book blew my mind! What an amazing story!

I won't be talking about the plot in this review cause I don't want to give anything away, but I will be talking about what this story made me feel.

It's kinda of weird, how a book can talk to us on so many different levels.

Since the release of this book I was really curious to read it, but at the same time, I wasn't in the mood to read something that apparently, talked about reincarnation and maybe a love triangle?

Yeah... I was partially right, and I don't know how this author could do this, but I'm a mess!

Once again, this author blew me away with her phenomenal writing. Jewel E. Ann weaves a story about a quirky young woman, Swayze, who starts a new job as a nanny. What she is not ready for is the connection she feels to her new boss, Professor Nathaniel Hunt. She knows things about him which she cannot explain. The Professor has an idea, but Swayze doesn’t even want to go there.

Swayze is madly in love with her “Grocery Story Guy” boyfriend, Griffin. I am also madly in love with her boyfriend,

I continue to be amazed by the creative capacity of Jewel E. Ann. Her books refuse to be contained in tidy, predictable boxes. Transcend is aptly named because it surpasses all expectations in terms of originality, intricacy, mystery, and poignancy.

Jewel E. Ann excels in the development of characters who are flawed but believably compelling. One of the strengths of this book is the protagonist, Swayze. She is 21 and incredibly intelligent and trustworthy, but in some ways still immature. The thi

I really enjoy Jewel E. Ann's books but I knew by the title of this one that it would be deep. So, yes, this duet is about reincarnation but I think the author does a good job at not being preachy. Actually, let me rephrase that...her love story will have you wishing for a reincarnation.

Swayze's always been different - she's just known things...unexplainable things but it's not until she's leaving her therapist's office and runs into Nate that things start clicking. Unfortunately, he

This was a truly fantastic and unique read and the premise of this story had me intrigued for the whole book. This almost borders on paranormal or maybe not... depends on what you believe. Transcend doesn't really fit in any romance nook that I've read before. It's elements of the spiritual, the immortal and the paranormal all add a beautifully confusing and bittersweet tone to the story.

We have Swayze, our heroine, who is in madly in love with her boyfriend Griffin, who's a damn good guy. Then we have her new employer - Nate, a recently widowed professor in his late 20's (or is it 30?) who has been left a single parent to a newborn who hires Swayze as his daughter's nanny.
