On the other hand, if I was Smit instead of Smith, my Afrikaans would probably be better...
Hehe for sure...
I must say I knew that Smit was a common afrikaans surname, but not THIS common haha... there are soooo many.
But the Nicole part, there seems to be a few good books I'd love to read. Um but there are like 903 pages full of them!!!! I'd need so many years to read all of the Nicole books, maybe I should stick to my normal name, Niecole, there arent ANY books to go with that hehe

I have never heard of Louise Renisson before, so due to this challenge it seems that I have stumbled upon some fun books. I cant wait to read one.
Surely if your last name is Smit..then you can look for Smith? Isnt it just the Afrikaans version of english Smith? Not that I know a thing about the Afrikaans language ofcourse
I still dont understand why people would think I would want to buy a donkey. ;-)
Ah please dont let me :), then I'll totally win this challenge, Nicole Smith might just be the most common name this site has seen then hehe, I'll have millions to cover! :)

Hehe... thats going to be a hard one, or you're going to find these really highly English books... good luck is all I can say

This is a new challenge Lauren thought up, and i think its going to be a lot of fun.
It works like this:
We get a point everytime we read a book, that has our name/surname/middle-name in the title, or if the author has the same name/surname/middle-name as you.
For example
Lauren - Fallen by Lauren Kate (1)
Jill - Jack & Jill by James Patterson (1)
Fraser - Marie Antoinette: The Journey by Antonia Fraser (1)
Now if she reads:
Undercover Attraction by Lauren Fraser
she will get 2 points
Now some of us have hard names, like me:
Lu-Marie Combrink
Now because there are no Lu-marie's, I can do this:
Lu - A New Lu (example of title) (1)
Marie - Marie Antoinette: The Journey by Antonia Fraser (1)
Combrink Kwinksinnig by Johan Combrink (I got the short straw here lol) (1)
Now I am going to try not to do this, but if you have a hard name, like Lu, different spelling of it can be allowed, like Lou. Or Niecole can use Nicole.
Also you can try keep in interesting by not reading the same author, but trying new ones :)
Hope this explains it, everyone can start posting their lists, and tick them off as they go :) It starts now until December 31st.
