SPRING/SUMMER 2010: Leaderboard & Completed Tasks (Updated 8/19)
This is also where you will post what you have completed so that it can be updated on the leaderboard. You can claim your points every time you complete a task or every few tasks that you complete; however often you choose to.
Claiming your points should look something like this:
Just finished "This Book" for "this task" for x points.
New Total: x points
I'll have an Excel spreadsheet going with the totals so I'll be keeping track for you but it helps if you post your totals too just in case I miss something.

Just a quick FYI for everyone: Jamie said she had a spreadsheet for this part of the contest, so I'm going to let her use her own method to compile y'all's points. So there won't be an update here until Jamie comes back.

Thanks! I've had a few minutes here and there to get on and update the leaderboard. Tomorrow and Saturday will be a little more hectic because of the viewing and funeral so I doubt I will be able to update it. I need things to do to keep my mind off of it so I figured, hey, why not go update the leaderboard! haha :)

Jamie wrote: "Alicia--how did you like The Time Traveler's Wife? It was one of our group reads awhile back..we had a pretty good discussion about it. I've never imagined the concept of timetravel to have it's drawbacks - usually in science fiction an old guy steps into some weird machine, and boom. I wish it had another ending, but I understand why this one was necessary.
10.9 - DoctorUntil It Hurts: America's Obsession with Youth Sports and How It Harms Our Kids
The author interviewed and shares the opinions/stories of several doctors/surgeons/therapists throughout the book. Very interesting for anyone interested in youth sports (I coach a boys basketball team).

Jamie, you overlooked my message 37 when updating. I'm immersed in Pillars of the Earth, so I probably won't have any new points to record for some time, sooo I thought I'd bring that to your attention :)

A few things:
-Please let me know if your total is wrong. I make mistakes sometimes. :)
- PLEASE just post the COMPLETED tasks..not completed books that you read for 2 part tasks. I'm getting really confused as to which ones are actually completed. Just post the completed task when BOTH books are finished.
