Finished The Birthday of the World and The Compass Rose, both by Ursula K. Le Guin, for 25.8I liked the one with the not-so-great cover, Birthday of the World, better. It was written later in her career and was much more mature.
I would post the covers, but goodreads doesn't have the right cover for The Compass Rose.

I enjoyed Saving CeeCee Honeycutt a lot more than A Good Man Is Hard To Find. It was such a good story, a perfect summer day read. I hate the cover of A Good Man... because it has someone's mouth on the cover. For some reason I can't stand it when a book has a mouth/lips on the cover. I had to wait and buy Lolita until I found an edition with no lips on it!

Task: 25.8 -I loved the cover of The Book of Lost Things but didn't expect to be as thrilled by the book as I was. Disliked the cover of Hornets Nest because, like the other books in the series, it is just blah; I had expect to love the book but was disappointed. So I guess in the end I should have judged the books by their covers haha

I just read A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith for 15.2, the book club challenge. A Tree Grows was unbelievably good. This book has sat on my shelf for months going unread, all this time with such a vivid and wonderful story inside. I can't wait to reread it. Tasks Completed: 24
