message 656: by Isamlq (new)

Isamlq Right now, I am re-reading Ms. Danae Ayusso's Kenedi and Konstantin (volume 1). Two awkward teens meet and fall in love: Kenedi one of three that make up the "brain trust" in her high school along with Pickle and Said) falls in love with a 'borg of a guy named Konstantin. Don't let their names throw you! The story is absolutely hilarious!
I first read Ms. Ayusso's work on wattpad; some of her work are still posted there.

note:
her style is not for the faint of heart.
if you do like K&K, try "Undiluted Minds."

Heather - You'll have to let us know how you liked Silver Phoenix. It looks good.
Rosalie - The books you're reading look interesting especially the last one.

I also recently finished
Vengeance in Death (In Death, #6) by J.D. Robb which was another wonderful read in this series. They just keep gettign better and better.
Infinite Days (Vampire Queen, #1) by Rebecca Maizel which was also enjoyable and I thought deserved to be mentioned. I look forward to seeing what else this author has to offer in the future.

message 695: by iPetim (new)

iPetim | 1 comments im reading To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee now. then next is Leviathan (Leviathan, #1) by Scott Westerfeld :)

message 696: by KSMary (new)

KSMary I finished Little Bee by Chris Cleave today and A Study in Scarlet by Arthur Conan Doyle yesterday. Little Bee was definitely stronger in the first half of the book than the second half. A Study in Scarlet was my first Sherlock Holmes book in which the characters of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson are first introduced. I really enjoyed it. This book combined murders in London with events surrounding Mormons in Utah. It was a nice light read.

Jessica B | 94 comments I finished both available books in the Jane True Series: Tempest Rising (Jane True, #1) by Nicole Peeler Tracking the Tempest (Jane True, #2) by Nicole Peeler and I thought they were both absolutely hilarious! Both solid four star reads for me!

Right now I am reading You Slay Me (Aisling Grey Guardian, #1) by Katie MacAlister (my first read on the Kindle) and I am loving it. Already half way through. I'm surprised about this one. I just picked it up to take care of the 'Y' in one of my challengees but I actually think I am going to end up finishing the series!
