I am reading a High Calling from the House Of Winslow series, 101 Habits of Highly Successful Novelists, and Vision In White.
I am reading Dr. Spock's Pregnancy Guide: Take Charge Parenting Guides. its helping alot
There is good information in that book. A book that I read for my pregnancy was What to Expect When You're Expecting, Third Edition.
I have just started a book called At the Scent of Water by Linda Nichols. This a new author for me but I am about 65 pages in and am liking it so far~
Night World, No. 1: Secret Vampire; Daughters of Darkness; Spellbinder (Night World, #1-3)By L.J. SmithPlan B By Jenny O'Connell
The Book of Luke By Jenny O'Connell
When It Happens By Susane Colasanti
Along for the Ride By Sarah Dessen
I am currently reading Lover Eternal by JR Ward. It's the second in a series and I'm liking it just as much as the first so far.
Tatianah, wow, so many books at once. Happy Reading!
Heather, I haven't gotten a chance to read anything by JR Ward but I heard that I am missing out on something great.

I love the Night World series. Can't wait til get my hands on Secret Fate! It's the very last book. How are you liking #1 so far? What story are you on?
I am currently rereading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I'm also reading Pretties by Scott Westerfeld and The Shapeshifters by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes for the first time.
HP = page 96; wonderful, just like last time!
Pretties = page 251; very suspenseful, just like Uglies.
Shifters = page 660; a very adventurous book. The concepts/rules of shapeshifting are different from anything I've ever read, but it's interesting.
Oh, that is a bummer. We're having an unfortunate six-day weekend. We've been out since Thurs. afternoon, and don't go back til this Thurs because of the ice on the roads. I hate missing school days... :(
I know, most people don't like school, for example: my brother. But I luhv and absolutely ah-dore school! I don't like missing it; it takes the fun out of life (except for getting to read a bunch of ah-mazing books!).
True, the only work I like is Math and Science. And only those because they're my strongest subjects.

How is The Screwtape Letters so far?

I haven't read this one yet. I did listen to it. One of my favorite books is Master: An Erotic Novel of the Count of Monte Cristo by Colette Gale. This book I found at a secondhand book story. I like passing books along to family and friends but this book I don't think I'll ever be able to part with.

The Screwtape Letters are very interesting. They give a new twist to humanity, but that is Lewis's style.
Im also reading
A Great and Terrible Beauty

Is The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo good? Didn't they make a movie off of that, or do I have the wrong film?
i havent seen the movie, but my mom read this book before me (she loves this genre) and she told me its great and that in the middle of the book you get really interested

They aggrivate me like nothing else and I can't put them down! Can't wait until March for the next one.
Drums of Autumn by Diana Gabaldon. It's the Outlander series and they are really long books, but so good that they don't seem long because I couldn't put them down and read through them so fast! This is book four of seven released right now. I highly recommend!
What a wide arrangement of books so far!!
Currently, I'm reading the Wheel of Time series. They're amazing books, I'd definitely recommend them!
Who is the author? (sorry I'm on my phone)

I've only read one book by her, and am half way through my second one, so I don't know if my opinion will change or not, but as of now I really like her books. Loved the first in the BDB series and am really loving the second so far too.
- Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert- Youth in Revolt by C.D. Payne
- Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
- The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield (which I am absolutely LOVING!)
- The Crimson Petal and the White by Michel Faber (a re-read but very interesting)
I'm also getting ready to start Beloved by Toni Morrison for my American lit class and am reading through the Harry Potter series again when I want something really light (currently working through the Order of the Phoenix).
I like to read haha.
I'd say so. That is a good list of books. Happy to hear that the 13th tale is good. It is on my TBR pile.

Those are the best kinds of books :-)
farenhiet451[i think thats how you spell it. don't have book next to me.:]Anyway i think its kind of like a big full of crap, but hay don't take my word for it.
I read part of that a few years ago and didn't like it. But I might pick it up again...my dad highly recommended it.I'm reading Gaudy Night right now. (I have to read it for a class that I'm in). Dorothy Sayers writes well, but mystery isn't my favorite genre...

Did you know that it was one of the books that was previously banned?

Fahrenheit 451 - This book is about censorship and those who ban books for fear of creating too much individualism and independent thought. In late 1998, this book was removed from the required reading list of the West Marion High School in Foxworth, Mississippi. A parent complained of the use of the words "God damn" in the book.
And really not all that long ago.
