Heidi, I KNOW! I wrote a review of this book and loved doing it. I can't believe I've never read any of her stuff before. Now I have to go back to the bookstore. LOL.
Bekah, To Seduce A Sinner does look pretty good. I'll add it to my TBR bookshelf. I'm trying to be good. You're not helping, you know that, right? Maybe it's at the library. Oh, it is, but not in e-book format. That means this agoraphobic will have to trudge out into the cold, cruel world. But then it will probably be good enough I’ll want it for my keeper shelf. Heehee.
It totally took me by surprise. I really liked the fist one as well:
The hero was different...well all the heroes are a little different in this series, and it was really steamy. When I met Jasper in the first one, he didn't really leave me with the impression that he'd make a great hero, but I love when I'm so soundly proven wrong!
Maybe I should start with the first one in the series. I love that you can click to see the inside cover. Man-oh-man. Too bad they are not on audio. I'm looking for some listening material.
Right now reading
and I hate to say this but it's kind of a dud. :( The previous book in this series was better. Bummer I was so looking forward to this one.Why can't I find a book with a Beauty/Beast theme that actually works??
And you guys are making me want to read the soldier series by Hoyt. They sound interesting especially the second one. Hmm...
Melody, I was a little (tiny) bit dissappointed in My Wicked Marquess though Foley has always been an auto-buy for me. So I haven't bought My Dangerous Duke yet.
Oh Lisa Kay I had issues with My Wicked Marquess too. I gave it a high rating because I really liked the hero in it, but the heroine not so much. I wanted to throttle her. lol I'll be honest aside from these two books I've only read one other book by Foley but I remember really loving it (read it a few years ago) but now I'm thinking she's more a hit/miss for me. This one, the characters are better I love the H/H but the storyline is kind of flat. Nothing wrong with it just missing something. Give it a try and see if you like it. Rohan is a delicious hero. ;P
Lisa Kay wrote: "I am reading Wicked Intentions and all I can say so far is "Wow!" This book is great. I am in the alleyways with the H&H on this one. I am only in the middle of Chapter 4, but I a..."I loved Wicked Intentions. Elizabeth Hoyt is a wonderful author.
Melody wrote: "Oh Lisa Kay I had issues with My Wicked Marquess too. I gave it a high rating because I really liked the hero in it, but the heroine not so much. Hey Lisa Kay....Hoyt's next book is about Charming Mickey and the sister...what was her name of crap, I can't think of it. she did a pole on facebook to see if she should end up with her jerk of a hubby or if she should be with Mickey. Gotta love a pirate book! Can't wait!
Melody wrote: "Oh Lisa Kay I had issues with My Wicked Marquess too. I gave it a high rating because I really liked the hero in it, but the heroine not so much. I wanted to throttle her. lol I'll be honest aside ..."For Beauty and the Beast have you tried
and
? I personally loved both:-DMelody wrote: "Right now reading

Bummer I was so looking forward to this one...."Melody - You should actually start with her Knight Miscellany series, it's her best, IMO (although I loved Princess).. I liked MWM, but didn't like MDD (too Indiana Jones-y for a HR, lol)
I've just read a whole bunch of fabulous books
and I just finished (and adored)
My faves were As You Desire, My Seduction, My Pleasure, My Darling Caroline, The Serpent Prince, An Offer From a Gentleman and Where the Red Fern Grows.

"This book has had me in stitches! Laughing so hard at the dialog! I swear to God Rachel Ginson has been in my house and heard comversations between my husband and I! I so relate to this heroine, it's unbelievable! I'm her, minus the pink hair! I was laughing so hard last night, Keith and my daughter looked at me like I had grown another head! Too funny!
Melody wrote: "Oh Lisa Kay I had issues with My Wicked Marquess too. I gave it a high rating because I really liked the hero in it, but the heroine not so much. I wanted to throttle her. lol I'll be honest aside ..."Alright, Melody. I marked
as TBR, but also as only 'considering reading'... In other words, it is on my list, but not very high. I only do this because I have really enjoyed Gaelen Foley in the past.

Wow, Melanie, I am going to have to check some of those out. I have read about 1/2...Thanks! I'm interested in
Heidi wrote: "LISA KAY- I loved
and all off Elizabeth Hoyt's books! She is one of my fave authors!"I just noticed she had a FB contest and gave away a freakin iPad!
Thanks Melanie for the suggestions! I already got EJ's When Beauty Tamed the Beast on my list. But uh Elizabeth Hoyt's book sounds really intriguing! I put it on my TB list as well. ;)Lisa Kay I hope I didn't spoil Gaelen Foley's book for you. I intend to ramble and get carried away at times. :( I still think it was a good book, it wasn't her best but give it a try.
And this isn't the first time I've heard about Foley's Knight series. Have not read any of them but keep hearing about it, all good things. I will definitely check it out.
Melody, Nope. Just the opposite. I wasn't going to even put
on my TBR list before reading your comment. Not to worry. And yes, the Foley's Knight series is excellent.
was a 4 star for me, but people who read my reviews and comments know why. And I gave all the rest 5 stars, I believe. She has a great web site also. Definitely worth checking out if you are a potential writer or lover of the Regency period. Great links.
After a great deal of debate I have started "The Conqueror" by Brenda Joyce. I feel a bit doubtful about this one but had just finished "The Devil in Winter" and was in limbo because I didnt feel anything could live up to that. Will let you know how the Conqueror shapes up.
I'm reading
. Great so far. I love how Loretta Chase can write books that are deliciously sexy but also full of humour!

It's such an original bodice ripper and the tension is soooooooooo intense, but it is not to everyone's liking.

Read
(in French) last night... Gorgeous and tragic story... 5*And just finished
which was sweet as sugar:-D
Melanie, I havne't read Liar's Club yet, but I'm probably going to grab them soon.I can tell that Jack's story is going to be wonderful, and I'm only guessing, but I hope that Mellie's HEA is with Evan. The way she took to him right away is adorable.
I'm reading the long awaited fourth title of The Wicked Lovers series by Shayla Black!!!
So far this story is SMOKIN HOT!!!
I had to share my good news with fellow LK lovers. I completely forgot I entered to win all 5 Hathaway books from St. Martin's Press website, and I had a great surprise when I got home from a long day of work. Yay me! :) I've already read them, but I will reread them and type better reviews now. I love free books!
