Bekah (bekah317) | 2750 comments i have only tried one tessa dare book..the first one in the stud club series, and I wasn't a huge fan...is this similar?

What's SO GREAT about them?

message 1814: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (ghemomma) | 900 comments Her first series is better, I think, than the stud club series.

message 1815: by D.G. (new)

D.G. LOLOLOL! No, I wasn't in trouble and nope, it wasn't a mistake! :)

We were discussing an image of the Venus de Milo which are using in one of products. I told him I was concerned that the nipple was too prominent!

I don't find him cute or handsome at all but he could be the twin of Henry Cavill.

Technically I can see he's handsome but his personality sort of erases his handsomeness for me. If that makes any sense, LOL!

message 1824: by D.G. (new)

D.G. Auntee has HC in her avi and it would freak me out whenever I'd see it.

In that pic that Mandy posted he doesn't look like my boss as much but there are a few others where they are just so alike that it creeps me out, LOL!

Tight, tight shirts
Tight, tight jeans

LOL, he's married! But if I'd gotten $1 for every time people asked me if he was gay, I could have retired.

D.G. He just took off his Mr. Rogers cardigan and I swear he's wearing a woman's top. It's sort of flowy but tight at the waist and almost boatneck.

Mandy Glover | 576 comments bahahahaha! Bless his heart.

message 1838: by D.G. (new)

D.G. LOL, Mandy!

Heidi | 871 comments I just finished Surrender of a Siren...and holy shit was that one of the best books. Its gonna stay in my head for a really really long time! Gray and Sophia....yep, they're stuck in my brain! WOW! I hope the next itn eh series is this good!

Cheryl? Have you read the next one? Is it as good or more along the lines of the first book?

message 1840: by Cheryl (new)

Cheryl (ghemomma) | 900 comments Heidi, the last one is good, Toby makes it good! I just loved him throughout the whole series and wanted to see him get his HEA... that being said, the heroine kinda drove me crazy! I thought he deserved someone better, someone he didn't have to work so hard to get.. you'll see what I mean. But I did enjoy it very much! It had some good steamy scenes in it too!

message 1841: by Heidi (new)

Heidi | 871 comments Ok, thanks Cheryl. I am not sure of I'll get to start it this weekend. We have a hockey tournament to go to. I doubt their will be any quiet time to read. with 17, 11 & 12 y/o boys running around.

message 1847: by MashJ (last edited Nov 06, 2010 11:09AM) (new)

MashJ | 733 comments I picked up Gaelen Foley's "My Wicked Marquess" from the library today. My third Foley and it's three strikes and out.

Blech- I'm sorry but dull plotting and two dimensional characters and way too much cheese even for me! The plots SOUND like they should work but somehow none of the energy/drama/excitement comes across to me and her books leave me feeling flat.

So- definitely on the reject pile with Amanda Quick and Stephanie Laurens. My Wicked Marquess (Inferno Club, #1) by Gaelen Foley

Of course YMMV!
