((*cough* Long story. Me... and my friend... Yeah.
Thank you!))
((YES! Akrisios very charming.))
((Aw, SWEET! That was awesome, Lyra, thank you!))
Thank you!))

((Aw, SWEET! That was awesome, Lyra, thank you!))
Akrisios rolled his eyes and shook his head and released Juliet's hand."So, you're Juliet, a Gryffindor? This hallway seems to be full of them." He chuckled."Which is okay, I think dinner is going to be soon. Don't miond Lyra, something just crawled up her butt and died."
((Lol.))
"She's jealous, and naive. Stupid, too. A little slow. Caleb, this other Slytherin, is a moron and she can't see past his annoying kindness to see that there's nothing in there." He shrugged."She won't believe a word I say and wants me to apologize for something she started."

((Hahaha! What's the l for at the end? Yeah, totally. They'll be tight. And yes, I do.
Lyra needs to go hang out with Caleb... Oh, wait, she's ditching him for good.))

Akrisios nodded."It does, but you can't help the blind to see. She's destined to be stupid for the rest of her life, it's tragic, really."
((Um...Life..../Liver? Yeah...that's right.))
((Um...Life..../Liver? Yeah...that's right.))
Akrisios wrinkled his nose and pushed his glasses higher."I suppose you're right, but Lyra gets on my nerves. She irks me. I do not like to be irked."
((LIVER! Yay, like in the Actor and the Housewife!! Hahaha, aw, sweet. Akrisios is fun.
We'll hope. *grin*))
We'll hope. *grin*))
"Really angry and annoyed. That's how she makes me feel. She opens her mouth and the stupid flows out."

Akrisios smiled."Actually, Astronomy is after dinner. If you're not really sitting next to anyone is class, I'm sure Anni wouldn't mind if I moved a bit."
((Has anyone noticed that all of Akrisios's friends are girls? Just throwing that out there...))

((Haha! I have a guy friend like that. *shrug*
...Caleb would be his friend if Akrisios let him. But that's just Caleb.
Aw, how sweet Lyra/LD. *gasp! Secrets?
Yeah, they sort of are... 'cept Medea, I guess. They're sort of friends, right? ))

((He's not a player...<.<))
Akrisios grinned."Well, I guess I have the -pleasure of escorting you to dinner? I bet you'd be great friends with Anni, she's in your house. Have you met her?"

((Hey, I came back...
Aw, that is horrible! I should go to bed soon... It's after midnight...
But I won't.
I need to write.
And get all giddy over adorable Tucker from Royal Pains.))

((I'm here!
Hm. I haven't read either. Still on the waiting list for Red Pyramid, sounds good. Never attempted Maximum Ride...
...Hm. I'd go for Red Pyramid. That dude is a good author.))

((Oliver Twist? It's by Charles Dickens. It's about an orphan kid in ... 19th century london? It's pretty good... Haha! The Red Pyramid should do that, I'm guessing. Rick Riordan is cool.))
((I don't know if I can get through it... It's really sad. Charles Dickens has a great tone though.
I may read some Sherlock Holmes tomorrow. Or this cool book I got called Zero.
Have you read anything by Shannon Hale?))

((Ah. Fun stuff. *grin*
She's good. Austenland was fun. The Actor and the Housewife was stinkin' adorable.))

((Hm... Uncertain. Hm. Lyra could encounter the good professor?))
((Edit, yes, it was stinkin' adorable.))

((Yep, he's cool. Haha! It works. *laugh*))
Professor Hayden was sitting at his desk, reading a novel and sort of zoning out.

((What?...))
Professor Hayden jumped as the knock came on the door and the several glasses he'd been holding in the air subconsciously fell to the ground, shattering. He rolled his eyes. At least it had been better than last time. "Come in," he said, picking up his wand.

((Oh, I'm sorry. I had to relocate but I wanted to put one first... Lo siento mucho.))
Professor Hayden smiled sheepishly and stood as he vanished the glass. "Sorry, I was just reading, I practice holding stuff up. It's good for concentration." He sat on the front of his desk, leaning forward to rest his elbows on his knees. "Yes, that would be correct." He smiled slightly. "Does that still surprise you?"

((*giggle* Thanks.))
Professor Hayden smiled. "No worries, eating is important." He raised one eyebrow. "I suppose that could be it. It's rare enough for a muggle born to even be in Slytherin, let alone go on to be a teacher." He smiled slightly. "But anything's possible, I guess. Being in Gryffindor just worked for me."

Professor Hayden raised his eyebrows slightly. "Well, students often have traits from multiple houses. It's very rare that we get a one hundred percent one way or the other." He drummed his fingers against his knee. "Well... It started a long time ago, with Salazar. Toward the end of his life, he went a little..." he shrugged. "He got all obsessed with Blood and it became normal for all of his House members to be Purebloods. Everyone got used to that, and eventually it was unacceptable for non-Purebloods to be Slytherins. There have been more half-bloods, but only a few muggleborns."
