Medea looked around the Quidditch pitch curiously. She almost opened her mouth to ask Avery what the bondary lines were for, but then stopped abruptly when she saw him with Caleb.

Caleb flinched slightly at Avery's hostile tone and shrugged. "Never mind, sorry." Avery nodded slightly and walked over to Medea, smiling.

"So what do you think of the field?" He asked.

Medea held back a sigh of disappointment. "It's pretty cool," she said with a smile. "There's fewer lines than on a football field, though. Are you allowed to fly over these ones?" She pointed at the boundary.

"Great!" Medea said. Then she realized Caleb had been shut out of their conversation. Whoops. "Hey Caleb, what do you think of the pitch?" she asked cheerfully.

Caleb winced slightly at the echo of her voice in the stadium, then turned with a bright smile. "It's cool," he said.

"I like it too," Medea said. "The stands are really high, though. I don't really like heights."

Avery blinked. "I think it would be okay here," he said, addressing Medea.

Medea nodded, the trace of a frown still on her face. "Yeah, I guess it doesn't look too high."

Lyra left and went to see Professor Hayden, and they chatted. Then Professor Prince came in as the bearer of bad news and Lyra left after a while, now the professors are discussing the bad news.))

Professor Hayden nodded. "Alright."

Professor Hayden fidgeted slightly, wondering if Lyra was still around. He knew he would've gone back to listen if it would've been him. But Lyra seemed rather better behaved than he'd been, so he just listened to Aurelian intently.

Aurelian nodded."How should we go about it? We can't let them alert any other professors who do not follow the Order, or worse, the Ministry. We'll lose our jobs as well as our heads."

Nick gave a slight smile. "That sounds like fun," he commented flatly. He thought silently for a moment. "Well..." He looked up. "Wasn't there something addressed at the beginning of the year in the staff meeting? The teachers' assistant positions? We could offer extra credit for students who were interested, and conduct interviews then."

Nick thought back to his classes with Lyra and felt a prickle of suspicion. On closer thought, she did seem the type to listen in to the conversation. And he'd thought he'd heard something a moment ago. He silently walk to the door and opened it inward.
