I recently finished M+O 4EVR by Tonya Hegamin. A beautifully written work that quietly passed under the radar. The story is about young love, loss and acceptance. The writer is also a poet and it shows in her style. She deftly addresses difficult issues without ever be melodramatic or dogmatic.
HI Geneva, Coe Booth's books are enjoyed by my students and the girls like Dana Davidson's romances.
I LOVED If I Stay by Gayle Forman. I read it all in one sitting and I cried almost the whole time. The characters were all likable. The plot was interesting. Every bit of it was wonderful.

I would have to say An Abundance of Katherines by John Green or How I Live Now by Meg Rosoff.I have become obsessed with John Green and all three of his novels! He is funny, straight forward, simple yet complicated... I am just a huge fan.
How I Live Now is one of the most beautifully written novels I have ever read.
Well, the only books I've read this month are The Host by Stephenie Meyer and Labor Day: A Novel by Joyce Maynard. I'd say I like The Host the best though, probably because the main character is a strong female and not a teenage boy going through puberty. LOL
My favorite book I've read in the last month is going too far by Jennifer Echols.

I'm a Crutcher fan. Loved Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes.

I just finished The Iron King by Debut Author Julie Kagawa...WOW - this is going to be HUGE and I think the boys will like it as much as the girls...You can see my review of The Iron King on my blog or here
on GR or on Amazon...Robyn Hawk

Jackie, You have sold me!! I love audio books and I've played the cello for 16 years now. I will have to find it.
I am just about finished with "The Time Traveler's Wife" by Audrey Niffenegger. It is fantastic! Probably okay for high school, but maybe a little much for middle school. This book is really good, I can't wait to get to the end, but I don't want to get there. yeah.
Julianne wrote: "Well, the only books I've read this month are The Host by Stephenie Meyer and Labor Day: A Novel by Joyce Maynard. I'd say I like The Host the best though, probably because the main character is a..."I loved "The Host" it was really popular in my library until it was stolen!
I just finished The Miles Between by Mary Pearson (who also wrote The Adoration of Jenna Fox) and loved it. I could not put it down. If you are a peaker (meaningly that you look at the end of the book before you read), don't do it. The ending is worth the wait.

I am just finishing "Speak." It is fairly interesting, but has it's down moment's. Some of the story I can relate too. But I just feel bad for her, because all she did was the right thing.
I have read 6 books so far this month, I think, and my absolute favorite was "The Adoration of Jenna Fox." I have been raving about this book to all my students. It's wonderful and brillant. There is so much meaning behind the words in this novel and I have added some of those to my favorite quotes. READ IT!!!
Just finished Need - loved it! Can't wait to start reading Captivate, the sequel. And Cheney - I'm about 30 pages from finishing The Adoration of Jenna Fox and I can't wait to see how it ends - it's so different from anything I've read - and excellent!
I read night runner by max turner. This is one of the best books i have ever read. Max Turner is a new author. you should defenetly need to check this book out.
I just read The Unwritten Rule, by Elizabeth Scott , and The Six Rules of Maybe Deb Caletti's newest novel, both of which were excellent, and I recommend them to anyone who likes teen books.
Julianne wrote: "Just finished Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver (a Goodreads author) and it was awesome!"Tasha wrote: "I have just finished reading The Lightning Thief and i loved it!"
I agree!!! An awesome read!
Recently read The Dark Days of Hamburger Halpin and thought it was VERY funny! We're giving away 2 copies of this book during April at http://whatchareadingnow.com
I couldn't put down Heist Society by Ally Carter. Never seen a book like that before and loved it a lot.
I just finished Splendor (the 4th book in the Luxe series.) I love this series. I describe it as a cross between Edith Wharton and Gossip Girl.
If you like Jodi Picoult, her newest -- House Rules -- is pretty good. It's about Aspergers, and was very interesting. Though I'm not a huge fan of the court scenes, it's still a good read.
The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown.I love all of his books, they are magnific!I felt bad when Robert "died",but I was still hoping for the contrary, and I`m glad it happened otherwise.Brown has stated to write 12 novels with this main character, and I`m really happy to hear this.
I Just finished The Dead Tossed Waves - sequel to The Forrest of Hands and Teeth...both books were really good. Looking forward to reading: 1)Mockingjay (3rd book of Hunger Games series)
2)The Clockwork Angel (the 1st book of the Infernal Devices Series - a prequel series to the Mortal Instruments series)
3)The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner - Stephenie Meyer's new book
All coming this summer!!

Rachel I definitely loved Heist Society too! I loved Ally Carter and the Gallagher Girl series, but this new one was so different and I couldn't put it down!
I just finished reading Birthmarked by Cara O'Brien Birthmarked and loved it. It had a sort of The Giver (book) meets The Village (movie). I have a weakness for books that are set in the future but have an ancient past feel (RE: Hunger Games and Forrest of Teeth and Hands). I have high hopes that this is at least a trilogy.
Ermm...I just finished reading Wintergirls by Laurie Halse Anderson which was incredibly repulsive but truly amazing. I even got goosebumps while reading it and sleepless nights.

I work in a middle school library and all of a sudden all the girls are reading these books!
Liz wrote: "Rules of Attraction! by Simone Elkeles"Oh I have to agree with you! I love all the laugh out loud parts. I got my best friend hooked on this series.
