Vampires - Dracula by Bram Stoker - currently reading
Werewolves - [book:Wicked Dee..."
I'm over halfway through Dracula and it's very, very good. Had to take a break from it though as some of the language makes my head hurt (Van Helsing especially). Also Renfield makes me gag (eating bugs is NOT a good thing). But other than that I'm loving it. Definately recommend it.

They irritate the @#$%& out of me...
Can someone please recomand me on a good Fae PNR that i would actualy enjoy?!

How do you feel about Highlanders? Beyond the Highland Mist by Karen Marie Moning, has Fae in it. This is the 1st book of the series and they play a very prominent part in the story. The first 3 books are good, but the series gets even better around the 4th book. The fae figure heavily into the 3th and 6th book as well. Just a thought to try.

Hy Tara, I read the first one and it was OK. And after what you wrote about it getting better i'll continue reading the series.
But right now I'm looking for a book that has Fae as main characters.
Got any ideas?

All the other PNR books that feature the fae that I know and I checked and you've read them. I'm afraid I'm out of ideas. If it helps you really don't miss anything by skipping book 2 of the Highlander Series.
Sorry.

A- I love Eric
B- Sookie has plenty of books in her series out.
C- Merit's 3rd book doesn't come out until July and I wait to space it out so I won't have to suffer unbearably.
So.... BRING ON SOME ERIC!

Eric's hilarious in that book. Total made me fall for him.

Token Female Gamer: I didn't like Thorn Queen that much either. It was okay, I gave it three stars but I didn't get the hype. I nearly got excommunicated!

I’ve got a good excuse. I got sidetracked re-reading the fabulousness that is

It aint on the New York Times Bestsellers list for nothing baby! (Seriously: it’s so good, Read it!)
2/10 read
1.Vampires: Full Moon Rising by Keri Arthur

9.Humans with Paranormal Abilities: Outlander by Diana Gabaldon

Read:

Soulless was a fresh and entertaining book. I did have an issue with miss Carriger trying to be funny all the time in the beginning, didn’t appreciate the ending and found the book simply didn’t hook me. 3,5 stars.

This book has made me realize that this type of erotica does nothing for me. To quote Michelle M: I prefer my erotica to just be about the relationships, rather than inventing ludicrous reasons why folks have to get it on.

Just finished The Trouble With Demons (Raine Benares, Book 3) by Lisa Shearin, which I gave 5 stars!
This series is not quite either paranormal romance or urban fantasy, but is more pure fantasy with sexual tension. It takes place in the fantasy land of Rheskilia, with this particular book exclusively on the Isle of Mid, which is essentially a university for mages.
Our protagonist is Raine Benares, an elf who has left her family of pirates to become a Seeker, which is basically just a thief-for-hire. In the first book, Raine is hired to steal a necklace, but gets a surprise when that necklace turns out to be the Saghred - a magical artifact of unimaginable power. The Saghred metaphysically attaches itself to Raine and, of course, all hell breaks loose.
In this third book of the series, Raine has taken the Saghred to the Isle of Mid to protect it from those who would try to steal it (and her) for their own nefarious use. Turns out the Isle is pretty much the worst place she could have taken it. A Hellgate is opened and she must face down a demon horde intent on gaining possession on the Saghred & its wielder. And avoid all other parties who are out to get her.
Similar series are: The Retriever series by Laura Anne Gilman (though more of a UF), the Hero series by Moira M. Moore, the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews, and the Elantra series by Michelle Sagara.

I was sad we didn't get pink spandex in season 2 of True Blood. It was an outrage.
Book 4 is definitely my fave too, but I don't know if it was my fave at the time. When I 1st read it, I was still upset with the loss of Bill, I felt like Charlaine made us like Bill, then all of a sudden we were supposed to drop him like a hot potato.
::gasp:: I am not so fickle!
But by the end of book 7 (which was all that was out when I originally read them all back to back), believe you me that I went back and read book 4 with all the honor it deserved.

Thanks to everyone for adding stars and comments!

I was really hoping to see the pink spandex too. I think it would have been hilarious to see a man that large in anything spandex--not to mention pink!

I am going to have to substitute one of my books for Death's Mistress since that was obviously a priority. However, I have not yet decided which one to trade it for since it can fit so many categories, so I'm going to leave it as a wild card.

You'll have to tell us what you think of [book:Three Days to Dead. I picked that up the other day, but I'm putting off reading it until I finish this challenge!

I agree! I've been trying to write reviews for all of my books for a few months now, but so few other people do it. It's sad, b/c I love using this group for recommendations, but not many people are saying what they think beyond a star-rating. It's getting better, though!
