Sabrina moaned softly, almost like a pur.

Alek pulled the blanket over them. "I love you," he said, still lightly stroking her body.
"I love you too." Sabrina replied softly.
Alek held her securely against him and kissed her shoulder softly.
"If you could remember your dreams, what do you think they'd be about?' Sabrina asked softly, curiously.
"You," Alek swore softly. "From now until my heart stops I will always dream of you."
"I had a dream last night." Sabrina said softly. "It was you and me, and we were on the beach - even though I don't usually like beaches - and we were walking, and the sun was high in the sky, and when it's light hit you, your hair shined and you looked kind of like how I imagine angels might, and we were laughing- I don't know about what, but it didn't matter- and I remember thinking that I loved you so much more than I thought people could love and that I couldn't believe you were mine. It was a nice dream."
"How about this?" Alek whispered, his voice chocked. "When we get your sight back I'll take you to the beach. I'll get special permission from Jacob; and with any luck it will be sunny and you'll see what happens to vampires in the daylight."
Sabrina nodded. "Alright." she said. "But it wasn't the beach that made it a nice dream- it was you." she added in a whisper.
"It doesn't have to be the beach," Alek said, so softly he wasn't sure she would hear; but he didn't trust his voice any louder. "Anywhere you want."
Sabrina wrapped her arms around him tightly and ran her fingers through his hair soothingly. "Ok." she whispered.
Alek closed his eyes and pressed his head into her neck. He took several deep, shuddering breaths to try to calm down.
"Everything''ll be ok." Sabrina whispered, gently kissing the top of his head.
Alek nodded, but didn't believe it.
"Want to know something funny?" Sabrina asked.
"Sure," Alek said, finally trusting himself to speak.
"The first time I introduced a guy to my dad he took one look at him and just shook his head. Later I asked him what he didn't like about him and he looked me straight in the eye and said 'he had pop star hair'." Sabrina laughed slightly at the memory. "I think he would have liked you."
Alek smiled slightly and chuckled. "I think I would have like him too," he nodded.
Sabrina yawned. "He was funny." she said.
"Will you...stay here?" Sabrina mumbled as she started to drift off to sleep.
"I will," Alek said, kissing her head.
(lol)"Thank you." Sabrina said, curling up closer to him. "I love you." she whispered, before sleep took her.
"I love you too," Alek whispered. He had decided to stay awake, to make sure that Balthazar didn't try anything. But his body has different ideas and it wasn't long before his eyes forced themselves closed.
Sabrina slept quietly, never straying from his side, even whilst deeply asleep.
Alek's arms didn't loosen their hold on her once he'd fallen asleep.
Sometime during the night, Sabrina woke up with a splitting headache, only just able to keep from making any noise to wake Alek. She stared off into the dark for about an hour before once again drifting back to sleep.
Alek nuzzled his face into her hair while he slept.
The next day, when Sabrina woke up, a smile lit her face. She turned to Alek, and poked him lightly in the side.
"Mmmh," Alek groaned, not opening his eyes.
"Wake up, love. You're drooling and look like a zombie." Sabrina said, smiling at him; at him, her eyes - now bright blue - focused on his face.
"A. No I'm not," Alek grumbled, "and B. How would you know?"
Alek turned to look at her. "That was mean, I'm sorry," he said. "I'm really not a morning person; and four months missing sleep doesn't help."
Sabrina was still smiling, and didn't look the least bit bothered by it as she replied, "Don't worry about it. You're an adorable sleeper - not zombie-like at all - and I wouldn't have woken you up if it wasn't important."
"Not to beat a dead horse, but again: you don't know that," Alek said.
"Yes I do," Sabrina said, staring at him. "Pay attention."
Alek blinked rapidly, then saw the difference in the color of her eyes, his face lighting up. Then he put his fingers to his neck and checked his pulse.
"It's there, I already checked." Sabrina told him.
Alek beamed and wrapped his arms around her tightly. He pressed his face into the crook of her neck, kissing her collar bone.
"I couldn't believe it when I opened my eyes." Sabrina said, clinging to him tightly.
Alek took her face in her hands, and stared into her eyes.
Sabrina stared back at him, her eyes, the color of the clearest, deepest waters, focused on his rather than slightly off as they were the day before.
Alek grinned and kissed her lovingly.
"Let's go to the beach," Alek whispered. "I don't even have to ask Jacob's permission."
Sabrina nodded enthusiastically and hopped out of the bed.
"After that we can tell Christian it looks like it was temporary," Alek said, finding his shirt on the floor.
Sabrina went into her closet and closed the door, emerging a couple of minutes later having changed clothes.
"You do realize that changing in there is pointless," Alek said, wrapping his arms around her waist from behind. "That it's nothing I haven't seen before."
