"Yes I do," Sabrina said, "But what fun would it be if I didn't make you use your powers of recollection and imagination every once in a while?" she added, smiling.

"I remember all too well," Alek said. He kissed her jaw then bit it lightly. "God I'm glad I'm not always trying to kill you anymore," he whispered.
"Come on," he said, grabbing her hand and leading her out; not thinking about how they might run into her mom, and how she never saw him come in the night before."
When they were halfway down the stairs, Shirley could be heard humming as she cleaned in the living room just to the right of where the stairs ended.
Alek stopped dead and swore under his breath.
Footsteps were heard behind them, and then Henry was there, too close to Sabrina to be casual. "Well look what we have here." he said softly, mockingly.
Alek held Sabrina's arm tightly and they vanished as he teleported right outside.
Henry laughed as he walked down the stairs, and when Shirley asked him what was so funny he simply replied that he'd recalled a particularly amusing joke.Sabrina gasped at the sudden teleportation, but managed to refrain from screaming or getting dizzy, which was usually prone to do.
"Come on," Alek said, quickly leading them away from the house.
Sabrina followed alongside him quickly.
Alek lead the way down the street to where he had parked his car.
Sabrina walked lightly, almost with a skip in her step, in an unusually good mood.
Alek opened her car door for her.
Sabrina smiled at him in thanks and slid into the car, easily locating and locking her seatbelt.
Alek held her hand as he drove, rubbing small circles with his thumb.
Sabrina kept glancing at him from the corner of her eye, the edges of her lips twitching occasionally as she barely held back from smiling foolishly the entire car ride.
Alek brought her hand to his lips and kissed it lightly.
Sabrina tightened her hold on his hand. "I love you," she said, finally giving in to her goofy love-sick smile.
"I love you too," Alek said with a grin.
Sabrina shifted her grip on his hand slightly, allowing one of her fingers to brush against his wrist and feel the pulse of his heart.
Alek looked at his wrist then at her with a small smile.
Sabrina smiled back at him, then looked out the window.
Alek slowed as they approached the boundary before slamming on the gas, laughing as they blew through it.
Sabrina laughed with him, her whole face lit up with happiness.
Suddenly there was a huge red wolf running alongside the car, barking loudly.
Sabrina jumped, startled at the sudden appearance of the wolf.
Alek stopped the car in the middle of the road and rolled down the window. "Relax Jacob, I'm not breaking any laws," he said to the wolf, who just growled. "Look," he said putting his hand out the window, "not cold; got a pulse and everything."
"It's true." Sabrina added, vouching for him.
Jacob looked at them for a minute then took off into the woods. "He'll be back," Alek said. "There's no way he believes me, but he doesn't have any proof that I'm lying."
Sabrina shrugged. "He also can't do anything without proof that you are." she said.
"He's probably out there looking for a body," Alek said.
"Why would he do that?" Sabrina asked.
"Why would he do that?" Sabrina asked.
"If I'm not lying that I'm human then I turned human using the spell Zach and Rebecca did," Alek said. "If a vampire bites a human the treaty is void and the vampire torn apart. If I killed someone, I don't think he'd care that I'm not one anymore because I would have been one when it happened.
"Oh," Sabrina said nodding. "Well, I guess that makes sense."
"Doesn't matter though," Alek said. "There's no body to find."
Sabrina nodded, looking at her hands curiously.
"I really have to talk to my mom. " Sabrina said.
Alek nodded. "You should have Susannah with you when you do," he said. "It's just as much about her as you."
Sabrina nodded. "you're right." she said.
"We'll go after we see Christian, alright?" Alek suggested.
"Do you wanna just skip the beach?" Alek asked her. "You know get to the uncomfortable confrontation sooner?"
"Alright then," Alek said parking the car. "We're here."
