Sabrinas hands tightened in his hair and she pulled him to her neck harder, moaning softly.

Alek nipped at her skin, and started to slowly rub against her.
Sabrina shuddered at the feeling of his teeth against her skin and moaned.
Alek pulled away, breathing heavily. He pressed his forehead against hers, grinning at the feeling of being breathless.
Sabrina grinned back at him, looking at him adoringly.
Alek ran his hand through her hair, and kissed her head. "You're safe," he said softly.
"You're here," Sabrina whispered in reply, her gaze of adoration turning to one of wonder as she looked at him in her arms, not trying to pull himself away as he always seemed to.
Alek laid down next to her, pulling her into him. He buried his face in the crook of her neck and breathed deeply; his eyelid getting heavy from the months without sleep.
Sabrina ran her fingers through his hair soothingly, closing her eyes and getting lost in the feeling of his warm body next to hers.
"I love you," Alek muttered, half asleep.
"I love you too." Sabrina whispered,
Alek only barely heard her as he fell asleep.
Alek slept, curled around her like a kid with a teddy bear.
Sabrina slept peacefully, the sound of his heartbeat lulling her to sleep whenever she stirred.
Alek woke a few hours later when his long empty stomach roared for food.
Alek got up quietly, and crept downstairs to the kitchen: grateful that he hadn't gotten around to throwing out the food he had bought for her.
The sudden chill without him next to her woke Sabrina up, and she went downstairs when she heard someone moving around in the kitchen.
Alek had made himself three sandwiches and was eating them with an entire party sized bag of chips.
Sabrina smiled when she saw him, "Hey," She said
"Hi," Alek said through a mouth full of sandwich. "You know you make these a lot better." he said after swallowing.
"I doubt I do anything different than you." Sabrina said, moving to stand next to him.
"And yet your tasted better," Alek said, wrapping an arm around her waist and taking another bite.
"Let me see." Sabrina said, reaching over and stealing a bite of his sandwich.
Alek chuckled and held out his sandwich to her.
Sabrina took a bite, and her face scrunched up. "Ew. Did you add any pepper?" she asked.
"No?" Alek answered not sure if that was the right or wrong answer.
"You should have." Sabrina said, resting her head on his shoulder.
"That settles it," Alek said. "You're in charge of the sandwiches."
Alek smiled and pulled her onto his lap, while he popped another chip into his mouth.
"Have any dreams?" Sabrina asked curiously, also taking a chip.
"Probably," Alek said. "People always dream, we just don't usually remember them."
"Any that you remember?" Sabrina amended.
Alek shook his head that he didn't.
"Me neither." Sabrina replied. Then her eyes narrowed as if she were trying to focus on something.
Alek's hyper perception was gone along with his vampirism, so he didn't pick up on everything subtle.
"Alek," Sabrina said, sounding scared, "Alek, I can't see."
"What?!" Alek panicked. "Let me see." He lifted her and carried her to the couch. He laid her on her back and lifted gently pushed back her eyelids to look at her eyes to see if there was anything that stood out as not looking like an eye should.
The usual bright blue of her eyes was faded, from the blue of deep crystalline waters to paler than the sky at noon.
"Close your eyes," Alek whispered.
Alek whispered a few different healing spells to see if they had any effect. "How about now?" He asked softly.
Sabrina opened her eyes but all she saw was blackness and she shook her head.
"Alright, close them again," Alek said. Then he took her head in his hands and tried some very powerful healing spells.
When Sabrina opened her eyes again, there was no change.
"Alright, come on," Alek said. "We'll go see Rebecca and Christian. If it has to do with your eyes turning red the other day it'll be up to him; and if not she's more powerful than I am."
Sabrina nodded and stood, only to walk right into him when she tried to walk.
Alek lifted her and carried her bridal style to the car, putting on her seatbelt for her. "You'll be okay love," he whispered, kissing her head.
