"I don't want you to be afraid of me," Alek said, pulling away to look at her. "But I do want you to be cautious."

Sabrina nodded. "now that sounds reasonable." she said.
Alek let go of her and backed away. "You can stay for a while if you want; I've gone hunting so you're in less danger than usual," he offered.
"There's no food though," Alek said.
Alek pulled out a spell book and sat on the couch to read.
Sabrina sat next to him and read over his shoulder.
"You want to learn some?" Alek asked.
"Basic stuff," Alek said. "Like moving things."
"sure, seems interesting." Sabrina said.
Alek got up,put the spell book he was reading back on the shelf and took out a much smaller one. "These are some of the most basic spells a warlock or a witch are taught. They are also the only ones other people can even try to learn."
Alek opened the book and handed it to her. "This one is pretty simple," he said, "just pushing things with your mind."
Sabrina took the book and read what it said.
Alek made a paper clip and put it in the middle of the table. He lifted her onto his lap, held her wrist in his hand and placed his head on her shoulder. "Now try to push the clip to the other side of the table."
"By using the air between you and the paper clip," Alek said. "It isn't just empty space, there are thing in the way and by effecting some you can move others like a ripple effect.
Sabrina stared at the space and tried to picture what he was talking about.
Alek sent a jolt of magic through her hand and the paper clip flew across the table.
Sabrina jumped in surprise. "How'd that happen?" she asked.
"Ok I may have lied when I said people who aren't witches or warlocks could do magic," Alek said. "I just thought you might have fun trying."
Sabrina laughed. "Stop making me look crazy." she said, elbowing him lightly.
Alek kissed the side of her head, and turned her around in his lap to face him. "So what do you want to do?" He asked.
"I want to see you do that again." Sabrina said, nodding towards the paper clip and referring to when he'd moved it.
Alek held his hand out and the paper clip lifted off the table and floated to him. It hovered over his hand and shimmered and shook before transforming into a single cut flower.
Sabrina grinned. "That's cool." she said.
"And it's for you," Alek said, handing her the flower.
Sabrina took it. "Thanks," she said, smiling, "It's really pretty."
"I'm glad you like it," Alek said, kissing her gently.
Alek slid his hands around her waist and pulled her closer.
Sabrina slid her arms around his neck.
Alek laid back on the couch, pulling her ontop of him.
Sabrinas body laid on top of his as she kissed him, her warmth obvious against his icy coldness though she didn't seem bothered by it.
Alek moved one of his hands up her back to hold the back of her head.
Alek tangled his fingers in her hair.
"make good on your promise from last time." Sabrina murmured, referring to when he said he'd kiss her breathless.
"I don't know," Alek teased, moving to her ear. "I don't think you could handle it," he whispered.
Sabrina smirked. "Bring it on." she whispered in reply.
Alek turned them over, and pushed her down into the couch. He slid his lips over her skin from her ear, down her jaw and back to her lips.
Sabrina moaned softly and kissed him deeply.
Alek tangled his fingers in her hair as lightyltly as he thought he could.
Sabrina kissed him harder, and pulled him closer.
