Jacob played with her hair absent mindedly.

"I love you too," Jacob whispered, kissing her head. "Very much.
Susannah fell into a comfortable silence, just enjoying his company.
"I don't want you to spend all your time here," Jacob said after awhile. "I want you to stay with your aunt and cousin; get to know them. Shirly may have gotten on my nerves but she was just trying to take care of you. And make plans to hang out with Rebbeca and Zach and Caleb an everyone. Enjoy your summer break, and make sure that you do the summer assignment for school."
"I always do the summer assignment for school." Susannah muttered.
Susannah laughed. "Fine," she said, "I'll try."
"Thank you," Jacob said. "And when I get out of here we'll spend whatever time of break is left, if any, together."
Susannah nodded. "Alright." she said.
Jacob closed his eyes and laid back against the pillows, running his fingers up and down Susannah's back.
Susannah hadn't really slept much at all the night before, and it wasn't long before she'd accidentally fallen asleep.
Jacob watched her sleep, tired aswell but in too much pain to fall asleep himself.
Susannah woke suddenly and with a start, sitting up quickly. She looked around the room with narrowed eyes before settling back down beside him. "Sorry." she said.
"It's alright," Jacob said. "If you're tired go to sleep. I'll still be right here when you wake up."
Susannah shook her head. "I'll sleep later." she said.
"Go back to sleep," Jacob said softly. He rubbed her back soothingly.
"You need to sleep," Jacob said sternly.
Jacob shook his head and kissed her forehead. "You're as stubborn as I am you know that?"
"I'm seeing a similarity, yes." Susannah replied.
Jacob chuckled and kissed her gently.
Susannah smiled and returned his kiss.
Jacob pulled away and stroked her cheek. "It would have been worth it," he muttered mainly to himself.
Jacob shook his head. "Never mind."
Susannah looked at him skeptically, but let it drop.
Jacob looked at her adoringly. He wanted nothing more than to wrap his arms around her and hold her tight, but he didn't dare move his other arm.
"If you could do one thing this summer, what would it be?" Susannah asked.
"Other than spend every moment at your side?" Jacob asked.
Susannah nodded. "Other than that." she said.
"I believe I already told you what I wanted to do this summer," Jacob said, with a smirk.
Susannah looked at him, confused. "Really?" She said. "I don't remember. What was it?"
"It was the day after school let out, right before we told your aunt we were married," Jacob hinted.
Susannah shook her head in defeat. "No, I've got nothing." she said.
Jacob moved to whisper in her ear. "I said I wanted to throw you down on your bed and f**k you all, day, long," he breathed, almost silently.
Susannah moaned softly. "I'll look forward to that." she whispered in reply.
"Not as much as I am," Jacob said softly.
"And what makes you say that?" Susannah asked curiously.
"Because you will have distractions, I will be lying her dreaming about it all the time. "
"I'm sure you'll find something else to dream about to occupy your time." Susannah said.
"What could I possibly dream about that would be better than that?" Jacob asked.
Susannah shrugged. '"you'll think of something."
"I should go soon." Susannah said after a while.
"I know," Jacob sighed. "I wish you didn't."
"I'll see you soon," Jacob said, his good arm wrapped tightly around her shoulders.
Susannah kissed him softly. "see you," She said, getting up.
